Unless new strats are found or someone gets a more god tier run this record is going to stick for a long time. You are already a speedrun legend and its clear you haven't even reached your full potential yet (well probably for 16 star but theres obv other categories to smash).
I've been on a huge Summoning Salt kick and found your video on the Speedrun board. Also made the habit of watching the best time by a game covered in his documentary as it stands today. It's crazy to see such a huge lead over 2nd place happen by you only 3 weeks ago. Congratulations man. Absolute thrill to watch!
Last 10s barrier probably. You absolute legend. That’s all I can say. In 2020 akki finally beat the 15 minute mark, something we thought to be impossible. and at that point we never knew it would only take a couple of years for a mid 14 to happen. Hell it probably should’ve taken 10 years. You did something absolutely impossible today and changed speedrunning history. After nearly 20 years, the most popular category in the most popular speed game had a run with like 0 mistakes. And probably will never be beaten for an absurdly long time unless some crazy new strat is found. I’m glad I witnessed this live. I would’ve paused a PB pace run of my own to see it. I would’ve paused anything I was doing in my life lmao. I crown you the king of speedrunning. 👑

This has to be the most insane record Ive seen in years. Dude just came in and took 5.5 seconds off the record. I think the timer literally had less than 1.5 seconds off lost time off that. Unless new strats are found or someone gets a more god tier run this record is going to stick for a long time. You are already a speedrun legend and its clear you haven't even reached your full potential yet (well probably for 16 star but theres obv other categories to smash).
thank you bro
didnt minecraft when from 20 min WR to 8 min in less than 9 months?
@@v44n7 sm64 was at 15m for 16 for years upon years until akki got the first 14, and even that was 2 years ago. i don't think this is the last 10s barrier but it's going to take a LOT to beat, you have to either put in a new strat or have better movement than suigi on top of not making mistakes which is damn hard to do
@@Benjamslikestrains incredible
14:2x will happen eventually, but it's going to be a few years before anyone tries for that kind of time. 14:1x is not currently known to be possible, but there are enough theoretical timesaves if you somehow got consistent at every cursed singlestar strategy. Sub 14 will never happen.
🤴 if he gets the 120 wr
This run is off the charts. Hard to grasp how anyone can master a game this well
Congrats man. This run is stupidly insanely perfect.
game-defining WR, crazy clean and precise holyyyy. teared up a bit at the pop off such contagious excitement, congrats to the GOAT
Congratulations man. this was most likely the best speedrun of a videogame in existence
Suigi you're cracked my guy. Making a very strong conversation for GOAT status. This record will stand forever unless by some miracle a new trick is discovered. Keeping that 🇨🇦 visible at #1 forever!
I never comment on speedrun videos, but the goosebumps and a little tear made me want to leave a comment. Congratulations Green Suigi, you are amazing.
Broooo... it doesn't even make sense how good you are! Congrats on killing the category my guy!
With how calm, collected and focused you were through the entirety of the run, I was quite honestly not expecting the reaction at the end xD
the reaction at the end damn near ruined it for me
I come back and watch this every couple weeks, such a freakin legendary run
Just watched this vid after learning what the 16 star run is. And i have to say, AMAZING job. Well deserved.
Coming back to this video. Honestly amazing. I would never come close to how fast this run was omg. Great job keep it up!
Amazing effort, this is what it's all about! Congrats
Absolutely amazing and incredible. All of those immaculate, fast AF inputs that came through your hands along with that wild reaction… you play with all of your heart! You’re a Mario 64 artist!
"Rip my run" holy shit dude this was incredible
That's 15 seconds faster than anyone else, in such a short category. You're completely insane
Ain't no fucking way. Suigi really coming for that "greatest Mario player of all time" title.
I’m not even sure if he’s just coming for it at this point tbh
zfg would like a word 😪
You can see that he takes it so seriously and it means so much to him ❤ congratulations dude you’re a legend
I hope yall realize this man was only 7.9 seconds slower than his sum of best, not a single gold either. This is a truly optimized run.
For comparison, his 1 star run was a 6:58.3, and that was 6.3 seconds slower than his sum of best, and that run is less than half the time it takes for 16 star...
Good fucking shit Suigi! I'll say it again, Suigi is the black hole that will consume SM64 speedrunning.
WE'RE SO PROUD OF YOU SUIGI 💚
bro didn't just beat the world record, he absolutely demolished it
He recorded the world
I don't watch too many SM64 speedruns, but it's always awesome to see a person demolish a game and a world record to such a degree. Much props, Suigi
Seeing this run live was INCREDIBLE and your pop-off at the end had me straight emotional dude I've been watching you for so long waiting for the 3x. And then you go ahead and not only do that, but get the god run.
Ur fuckin cracked Suig gl in 120
thank you :) im gonna go hard in 120
@@Suigi yeah ur gonna decimate 120 gl to the other runners lol ready for some straight fierce competition 🤣
Congratulations Suigi this is historic. Many future runners will be watching this video for inspiration!
Congrats Suigi on killing 16 star with this amazing run! I’m so happy I was there to witness this run live!!!
What a run dude!!!
Congrats on getting such a clean run. There's tons of pressure when you're on the pace of your life into the final level of a speedrun, I've felt that myself, and great job on closing it out!
The coordination and timing is legendary. Truly unmatched skill
Even I, who is not a speedrunner and not watching those that often, know, that this is the most insane thing I've seen so far. Congrats on that my dude. Killed it...literally xD
F for 16 Star, good luck for ever dares to beat the time where time saves are Suigi pressed a button like 4 frames late
Actually the most insane thing I've been blessed to see live. 120's got another thing comin
Give me 80 years of practice in the afterlife and I *still* couldn't beat this run.
It really is difficult to describe the difficulty of doing all this in one clean run into words.
15 seconds ahead of number 2 on the most speed run category on the best game in the world that's insane and you only 17 i believe you will get all 5 wr's and kill the game your the human tas respect bro just happy to be able to see this happen in my life time
Here from Karls video. Congrats YOU ABSOLUTE LEGEND!!!
