Yes! More of this kind of caper please Ollie! Had to replace the nozzle return spring in mine recently and it was an absolute James Blunt when it came to removing the roll pin from the firing pin! Any guides on replacing the known perishables is appreciated 👍
@@OllieTalksAirsoft funnily enough I finally ordered a set of roll pin punches that were delivered today, along with some watchmakers screwdrivers. No more whacking a tiny allen key with a pair of pliers for me 👍
Hi Ollie, just to let you know that thanks to your amazing explanations I just did my first bolt carrier’s rocket valve replacement and went super smooth 👍, awesome , keep going bro… your videos are straight forward with no bullshit , this was on an angry gun Gen 2 ( mpa ) bolt carrier, the issue in this design is that if you wish to have the max power, the screw needs to be unscrewed to the max ( with thread locker on it ) and it barely holds on the original rocket valve, I even add some of the thread locker and that screw went flying 2 times through the barrel, I finally opt to replace that valve by a HP valve from MWC, and it works perfectly now, In my opinion this mpa is not designed properly… even could eventually damage the internal parts should it detached from the rocket valve, just to share…
I followed this guide to replace my nozzle and nozzle springs. As I was getting strange malfunctions where I was sometimes not just double, but triple feeding. Imagine that. Went through two shattered nozzles before I realised it was a really bad case of bolt bounce. Live and learn, I guess. Thanks Ollie.
Wow that's one hell of a bounce!! Looks like a change over to a moving buffer like the g&p is in your future, often the moving parts buffers are shorter so don't forget to fill the buffer tube so the bolt doesn't contact your upper! Glad you got to the bottom of the issue too, sometimes it can be a nightmare to locate the issue!
@@OllieTalksAirsoft Yeah I got a new buffer kit in the mail. (While I was there i picked up a high speed bolt as well. That was already on the cards anyway so.)
Thanks for the guide. My brand new mws's nozzle took some minor scuffs from a double-feed because I didn't realize It managed to load a new round in when I ran out of gas. Crazy thing Is, I only found out today after shooting it a whole bunch and taking the bolt out to lubricate the internals. And during that shooting session I only had a failure to enter battery due to mag cool down the internals being a little too dry.
Ordered the gun last week and I was suggested to watch your channel in AFUK. Decent videos dude, keep up the good work! Will do the upgrade when I have it!
Hey Ollie, nice video, how do you go about checking the seal at the back of the nozzle? The little o ring and piston seal. When you pull out the nozzle out of BCG and block gas holes and try to reinsert to BCG you should feel resistance, but I do not, nor my friends MWS does this. Although we tryed another test, taking all bcg by the nozzle vertically in the air, bcg hanging down, block gas router hole, and make a vacuum with your mouth at the front of the nozzle and by sucking the BCG should come back up (creating vacuum), friend’s does this, mine does’nt, I am lost, should I be replacing something? I get a lot of gas venting during low gas pressures (cold)
I am in dire need of help Ollie, I need to put the gas valve thing that has the spring back into the nozzle and it has one big openings and two smaller openings. I couldn’t quite see yours in the video so which one should be face the gas hole so that it accepts gas? Should I have the big one facing out or the two smaller ones split between it? 5:03
I just cracked mine open to replace the spring and i see an already installed aftermarket return spring that is significantly shorter than the DP one i was gonna install. With the current unknown one installed the tip of the metal section only just sticks out of the black casing by 1mm. Are shorter return springs a thing & is this okay to leave in the system or has someone installed an incorrect part?
@@OllieTalksAirsoft I believe it goes on the end where there is a little indention on the head of the valve to help seal it. That’s what I did and it works fine. Matter of fact, it’s working too fine, too high of FPS. I’m shooting about 1.6-1.7J now. I have an adjustable NPAS in the mail, so I’ll probably pull the Ice Pick out and use it for DMR
Hi Ollie, recently bent my nozzle as well and with no where having the stock TM nozzle in stock i was looking at the guns modify and KG nozzle. Wondered what your thoughts were
The AG one is a bit shit to be honest. I've not had experience with the KG nozzle personally but it may be worth checking with people on the TM discord as someone will have used it before. Let me know if you need the link.
Hi Ollie, do you know the names of the part you touch at 8:03 ? It breaks during a train session today... i got a npas in here (angry gun one) I think that it was too open so too much fps I think ? Thanks a lot.
its the fake extractor, its a plastic piece, the original TM one is good, the aftermarket Angry Gun one is awful and breaks almost immediately, the gun doesn't need this part to function, it just looks cool.
I think it might be actually but the ends are definitely G&P. Tbf the spring breaks easily so it's likely an aftermarket one. Cheers buddy it always makes my day when you pop up ☺️
Likewise! I love the MWS platform and all things GBB, so I always look forward to your content! 💪 I’ll need to get some replacement springs as spares, been quite fortunate that none of them have failed on mine, even my first MWS which is coming up for 4 years old! Still on the hunt for AKM mags, no news on when more are coming out 😭!
Good day mate! I really need your help. I bought mws a few month ago and it worked perfectly. But when I changed inner barrel and hop up rubber, my accuracy became so disgusting. No single bb hit straight. Maybe I damaged hop up unit or smth else. Also couldn’t find any info about this problem. If u have some idea pls reply. Thanks in advance! :)
So it could be as simple as silicone oil on the hop rubber, either way you'll need to take it apart and have a look at the parts. Maybe switch back to the stock rubber for a while and just feel the benefit of the upgraded inner. Hop rubbers are cheap and sometimes not great, TM stock ones tend to be very good.
@@OllieTalksAirsoft to be honest this problem appears when I first time disassemble the rifle. Even with stock rubber and barrel bb run out with 0 accuracy. Also i noticed this rubber hill inside chamber shifted a little bit to the left on every rubber what I use (stock also).
@@Tpycuku_ I think take it apart and re-assmeble making sure the hop is off the whole time. If the hop is turned on when the barrel is re-installed then it caused the issues you're talking about.

I've just never had much luck with them, No idea why, most likely user error but I can never get the FPS stable enough. I always get 20-30 FPS fluctuations but with a standard setup I can get sub 10 FPS variation. I know some people have had more luck and I'm not against NPAS, I'm just an idiot 😂

That's very strange, I'd send it back to the retailer if it's a new gun, I've heard the most recent Mk18s have had some QC issues which is unusual for TM. It shouldn't be doing that
