@@AllyMonsters I work in engineering and getting two weeks off is hard because of all the deadlines you'll have. More projects means more money. If you want to work a six figure job you have responsibilities and can't just go running off for a month every year.
Fight TheMan there are plenty of jobs that let you do that. I’ve done it for While working at UPS, AT&T and my family and friends have also been able to do the same thing in advance at some of their jobs. Provided they had to save up for at least a year or two. but it’s not impossible.
My mom works two jobs, spends over 60-70 hours a week at her jobs, gets shit on from her boss, but still manages to get up everyday and work for her family. I will admit we live in a strange time period where our privacy is continually being violated and we are addicted to social media, but Pokimane needs to understand that her content is just bad, and she needs to know how to take criticism.

While I agree, not everyone is as open as people like Gundam are. We have no idea what a lot of these people are dealing with behind closed doors. Everyone is different and I personally think it is unfair to just assume when we really have no idea.

Honestly, it was probably the smartest decision she has made about this entire situation. She already dumped gasoline into the fire and it already burnt her reputation pretty badly. She knows nothing she will say or do will really squash out the drama considering that the harder and more responsible solution that'll stop the harassment quickly is something she'll never do. So she took the easy way out and just hope the harassment will die down in a month.

My mom worked since she was in school. First picking vegetables on farms on the order of the communist government of romania, then as a tailor for most of her young life then at 30 years old in a foreign country keeping old rich people alive 24 hours all day wiping their asses and cleaning them while dealing with the annoying family of said old person how sometimes even seem like they can't wait for that inheritance money to come in after a funeral. She's 43 now and she is ready to begin her own tailoring business. My mom has a brake once a couple years AND SHE NEEDS A REST!? My mother worked her ass of making money for me, my older brother who now works in the capital and is ready for a higher level education and my handicapped father who would love to work if he could and she needs a brake? It's probably not my place to talk, most work I've done was feed chickens, pigs and cows and go in a field once a year when my grandparents needed to harvest. It's not actual work. From basically being a janitor to working on media in school, trust me they both have an effect on you. Heck even making Twitch which comes with more than just sitting in front of a camera. As I said some have both twitch and TH-cam. The thing about that as well is they get breaks whenever they want. Some people edit for literal days. Days. The mental capacity to do that is outstanding because editing videos takes a lot out of you mentally.
