Starter tips, it's a long ass game that is not built like other games so make sure you explore every corner, there are whole areas hidden away in cave entrances for example that aren't on the map. Also make sure the game is online when you play as previous players can leave messages on the ground for you to read which adds tips and humour. Also, the story is not told within the game like usual, you have to read item descriptions and notice your surroundings if you want to know what's going on. Welcome to the Elden Ring community.

The Elden Ring is more of a concept. Its like the laws of reality, existing in a metaphysical kind of thing made of runes. The runes are the individual laws, so removing the rune of death messes with how death works for everyone.

    • @VerdantBBX
      @VerdantBBX 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

Accurate. The Elden ring is a symbol that is a collection of smaller symbols called runes that represent concepts of reality like Time, Death...etc...
The runes that are part of the elden ring at any given point dictate the laws of reality and change how the world works.
The elden ring being shattered would then obviously cause major problems as the laws of reality become chaotic.

Very important tips for noobs. I'm going to make it very simple for a beginner. There's a tutorial at the beginning, learn it, don't try and skip over it. If you go through it and don't understand everything start the game over and do it again. Level up your health first, at least to 20. Explore everywhere and have fun. Get to a place or a boss that's too hard, go somewhere else. Leveling up a weapon increases damage more than leveling up your stats. If you feel like you're making mistakes while leveling up, there is a spot a little later in the game where you can reassign all your points, so don't get too stressed about it. Don't worry that much at the beginning about advancing the story, enjoy your surroundings and practice your skills. This game is huge. That's my two cents, have fun.

@@DheezyLiveyeah bro this is an easy over 100 hour game to get everything, explore everything and complete everything, take your take, I’m on my second play through and have 100 percented the game, the hardest boss for me was the chick with the red hair melania, easily took me 150 to 200 try’s to finally solo her, also listen to the comment and level your health (vigor) early, then the rest you do by what build you have, there’s over 300 weapons in the game not including sorceries and incantations so there are countless builds you can do and start off with, personally, as a first time player, I would suggest a overall dex build with stats all in dex, vigor, endurance, and bit of strength, or a dex bleed build (which was my first) bleed is very OP in this game and can make some fights a walk in the park

Glad to see another person starting to explore this wonderful game. Loved your reaction and enthusiasm.
So for begginer tips (no spoilers)
    1) First of all play the game a s you want, you are here not only to suffer but enjoy it too. Some people may say that you shouldn't use summons or that weapon, don't listen. Make you own choices, its much more fun that way.
    2) You will pick a "class" at the very beginning, this is only what you staft with, all your weapons and magic depend on what you lvl up. So for example you can pick a knight at beginning but through levelinf turn him into mage or something in between.
    3) Dying is part of the fun. Don't treat it as something bad or defeat, learn from your mistakes and try again, eventually you get better and overcome the obstacle. With this mindset rage is a rare thing. (But still be prepared)
    4) Use the fact that the game has open world. Have problems with boss or dungeon, go somewhere else, lvl up, collecr new armor, weapons, magic and then come back.
    5) Lore and Story. The game has great mythology like lore. But its hidden in item description, lines of dialogue and even environment. So if want to keep up i would advise to keep a journal at hand. To write the names, relations, small clues etc. I've done it and had great fun when everything started to connect and make sense. But again only ig you are interested in lore and story, you'll have fun regardless.
    6) Explore the world. Its massive but gorgeous, full of hidden paths, caves, locations, some bosses can only be found if you turn away from the main path.
    7) Starting item. Again decide yourself, but overall golden seed is a good choice.
    8) Dont forget to lvl up vigor.
    9) Become Elden Lord.
Thats all, at least what I remember now. Can add something later if needed.

@@DheezyLive This was all good advice. All except the part about vigor. When you're starting out vigor is by far your most important stat to level. Up to level 30, vigor out performs all stats in importance.
You should not worry about upgrading attack stats like strength or intelegence until you can start upgrading your weapons about halfway to max. This is because the damage scaling isn't as noticeable until you can upgrade your weapons to this threshold.
TLDR. LEVEL VIGOR BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE!!!!

    Welcome, Tarnished!
A lot of good tips here. I'll try to lend a bit of additional wisdom I've picked up that will hopefully save you some frustration if you're not used to FromSoftware games:
    - The story is absolutely incredible; it is also incredibly hidden and not easily explained. Without a guide, you will need to piece it together by exhausting every NPC's dialog and reading the description of every item you acquire (remember to reveal the more detailed item descriptions--check the controls legend on the bottom of the inventory screen for the button to do this). Since you'll be picking up literally hundreds of items, it can sometimes be helpful to sort your inventory by order of acquisition so you can see what you most recently picked up.
    - The concept of dodging and invincibility frames has been helpfully explained in other comments, but remember not to panic-roll: *many* enemies delay their attacks (some almost ridiculously so), so if you dodge early you will wind up getting pegged. Stay calm, and try to learn enemy timings and combos so you can dodge strategically. It's often useful when first fighting a new enemy to stay entirely on the defensive for a bit, so that you can learn their move set and learn when it is safe to attack (e.g. after a big enemy combo that has a "cooldown").
    - Always have a shield ready to equip (you don't need to always wield it, just keep it in your inventory until needed): it is often overlooked, and blocking can sometimes be better than dodging. Some enemies, like rats and dogs, can gang up on you and stun-lock you if you do not have a way to block. If you block a single attack, you can often do a guard-counter, which is where you can quickly trigger an R2 strong retaliation after the block (listen for the tell-tale "TING" sound). Just be careful to do this against single attacks, not on combos. Eventually, learning to parry with the smaller shields will be even more useful, actually stunning the enemy when you pull it off, but that takes quite a bit of practice.
    - Always have some sort of ranged option. The bow is another often-overlooked tool because it does lower damage, but when facing multiple foes, it is much smarter to stay at distance and lure them to you so you can take them on one-at-a-time. Even sorcerers can use this (ranged spells are often too noisy and wind up aggro-ing an entire group, whereas a bow is silent and generally only alerts the target).
    - People have (wisely) recommended leveling vigor first, but I'd go further and say you should only focus on several stats. Trying to be a "jack of all trades" will just mean you are relatively weak at everything.
    a. Vigor (get up to 20, then intersperse with other stats).
    b. Primary attack stat (depends on what weapon or magic or you want to focus on).
    c. Endurance (this is a distant third, but shouldn't be ignored, as this keeps your stamina up during combat and lets you carry more weight without fat-rolling).
    d. Other stats should only be leveled to meet specific weapon or spell minimums.
Anyway, good luck! The game is amazing: it can drive you mad with frustration, but when you finally beat that difficult boss, the adrenaline rush is incredibly satisfying.

One tip for a beginner. It will be a while until you get the hang of properly timing and the placement of dodges, so you'll be taking some punishment from enemies, to say the least. You may consider leveling up your HP to a comfortable degree, you have to be alive if you want to learn those bosses' moves. You can always respec later on if you feel like you won't be needing that much health, so don't be afraid of trying things out.

  • @maiorskillsxd6912
    @maiorskillsxd6912 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

Are you going to stream your journey somewhere?
Also to add to the tips of @wolfricshunter4328 :
    a) Take breaks. In many cases, when concentration starts to diminish, one attempt after a ten minute break is better than an hour of attempts without that break.
    b) There are lots of harder bosses that require you to learn their moveset to a certain degree. If you struggle to recognize certain attacks or distinguish two with a similar windup from each other, it can be really helpful to have a clipping tool setup, so you can rewatch your deaths and find out which cues you can use to recognize attacks better or earlier.
    c) Level up vigor (Vigor has more health increase per level at 20-40 than at 10-20, so it might seem like its not worth it at lower levels. Thats why many people dont level vigor in first playthroughs, cause they think its useless, but in fact it makes the game waaaay easier and less frustrating, simply because you don't die instantly if the boss farts at you.)
    d) Don't expect to really understand the story in full detail just by playing the game. Story presentation is usually fragmented and you are very likely to get junks of information in the "wrong order", just due to the fact that you everybody progresses through the game on a different path.
    e) Choices generally matter. For example, one of the choices that is not very advisable to make light-heartedly is angering NPCs by attacking them. They are probably going to pull out a weapon and kill you, and even though there is a way to return them to peaceful, its gonna take you extra effort to do so.
    f) NPC questlines can be really obscure sometimes. I would advice to not skip conversations and pay attention to what the characters say. It is still possible to beat the game without really understanding NPC questlines as a whole. But it can be very useful.
    Enjoy the game😉

Some general tips I find are essential:
    - Be curious: explore wherever you want, don't be concerned about "progression": it happens automatically as you go. Try out different weapons and setups to find what you like the most, there's no right or wrong way to play, even if some setups are stronger than others. It's also important to note that you can't have everything unless your character is super high level.
    - Dying is part of the intended experience. Overcoming adversity is something to be joyful about. There's a running gag in the community that "it is NEVER the game's fault", even if some stuff is total bullshit :D
    - Leveling up HP in the beginning is the most important stat BY FAR. Other stats become relevant later when you upgrade weapons further (better stat scaling for damage) and find heavier armor.
    - Don't skip the tutorial, it teaches some very helpful mechanics.
    - Vagabond is the most optimal starting class since the stat spread is well balanced, enabling you to go in almost any direction with the build (least amount of "useless" stat points). That being said, you should still pick the one that appeals to you the most.
    - Listen to what the NPCs have to say and read the item descriptions.
    - And most importantly, have fun with the game even if it's sometimes rage inducing :D

    @FirstLast-yc9lq 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    Starter tips
    1. Exhaust NPC dialogue. Just don't talk to them once and walk away, most NPCs always have more to say and it's often important to progress their quest lines to exhaust their dialogue. Also go back and check on NPCs as often as possible, because they may have something new to say
    2. If you are fat rolling (you'll know what it is when you see it), that's not ideal. Lower your equip load and take advantage of those beautiful i-frames
3.Explore. Explore. Explore. Soulsborne games aren't all about the combat, the maps in these games are designed specifically for you to be rewarded looking around every corner
    4. This might be a controversial "tip", but I'll just put it here: Summons in this game are a mechanic that you can use, and if you choose to use it I wouldn't hold it against you. However, enemy AI can get really wonky when you use summons and I think you get the best out of enemy AI when you go into a fight 1v1. However, for crowd control, I do find someones lessen the annoyance unless you want to raise the challenge.

The Elden Ring is the concept of laws of existence, except this concept exists physically in the Lands Between (the name of the country/Island/continent where the game takes place)
As such, the Elden Ring hold in itself every aspect of existence within runes carved in it. Except the Rune of Death, i don't think any other rune was named thus making it difficult to know what aspects of existence exist within that world.
The Rune of Death was first took away by the Godess Marika, ensuing "immortality" for everyone (you can still die but your soul and spirit will be absorbed by the Erdtree and you'll basically reborn one day) and sealed in her most loyal servant's sword so that only her and Maliketh (the servant) could deliver litteral death over tenacious foes.
Except that Maliketh would find himself being stolen by someone I'll not mention because it's important lore. The thief only managed to steal a shard of the Death, and used it to make knives which would be given to a group of assassins. These assassins would then kill once and for all one of the Demi-Gods, Godwyn, known to be a brave, strong warrior as well as someone with an heart of gold. That would lead to Marika's madness as it's her own son being murdered, and she broke the Elden Ring. The others Demi-Gods (Radahn (the big one with the two big swords), Malenia (the red-haired valkyrie), Miquella (He's somewhere out there), Ranni (the 4 armed blue girl), Rykard (You see his portrait in a shot with the white lady and her knight), Mogh (you don't see him in these but the first shot of the DLC trailer takes place in his arena), Morgott (He's the "flame of ambition" guy) and Godrick (He's not a demigod but a distant relative of Godwyn)) then each claimed a Great Rune, a big shard of the Ring, and most battled over control of the Ring trying to obtain each other's runes, although none actually got the rune of someone else, they were all defeated until only stood Malenia, who constantly hold the power of a God of Rot in herself while literally being eaten by it and Radahn, the strongest demigod, great warrior and sorcerer who constantly use gravity magic to stop the cosmos motion. They both lost their fight as Radahn and his land got reaaaaaally sick by the Rot and Malenia couldn't hold her power and fainted. Thus every demigod is sort of weakened and that's why the Tarnished, the player, can claim the shards for himself and reassembly the Ring and become the Elden Lord and 3 different stuff depending what quest you managed to end (that's no easy task lol), or 2 somethings else that i won't spoil because these 2 are the bests endings, obviously tough to get
So yeah, that's basically all you have to know before launching the game as it's whats told in the trailers. You'll have a small and quite enigmatic summary cutscene at the beginning of the game anyways ahah.
Otherwise, welcome to the community! Its mostly nice, until you reach the mf saying you're not playing the game correctly because you use summons, you're using magic or you're too high-level or whatever. I'd say the community was wayyy more toxic before than it is now but unfortunately, there's still some people complaining that the game is too easy if you don't follow their particular playstyle. Play how you want, don't let people decide how you want to have fun in this game !
    Enjoy and good luck !

Tips for the quests in game:
Your quests and their story are usually told through NPCs and their dialogue, so listen carefully to them, they’ll tell you who or where to go ONCE and act like you good to go.
On top of that, you gotta exhaust their dialogue. So even if you think they are done speaking, try talking to them again. You know they are done when they repeat themselves.
Sometimes, after you have talked to an NPC for a quest, you will need to reload/refresh the world for the quest to actually progress in the world. To do this, just rest by a “site of grace” (checkpoints in the game).
Be careful tho with some NPC quests. Doing certain main story progression stuff in the game can mess up the NPC quest line, locking you out from completing it. Only side quest stuff tho, so don’t sweat it if you wanna move on.
And lastly, if you are at your wits end with a quest, check out the Elden Ring Wiki, it’s a life saver.

The elden ring is actually just more of a set of rules that the world lives and dies by that can change based on which runes are added to its composition. It has changed at least once as the elden lord of the age before the erdtree was a many headed dragon called Placidusax and the arrangement of the elden ring for the age of the ancient dragons was vastly different from the golden order version.
Anyway the actual power arguably comes from an outer god known as the greater will who works through the elden beast and it's earthly vassle Queen Marika and by proxy the Elden Lord who Is always her consort, although there is a secret there so I won't spoil that.

The best advice is to explore the map, read item descriptions, and explore different combat styles to find your preference.
There are 3 magic types in game .... 1 scales off your intelligence for sorceries, the other scales off your faith which has the biggest variety of options, 3 certain blood magic scales with your arcane stat.
Rare and legendary weapons can scale their power with any of the above or none at all which can be confusing.
You can make 10 characters and tutorial can be done in 5- 20mins depending on skill and what you know of the combat. Though finding a character class you prefer doesn't change what you can learn as max level is over 700 but most players finish the game somewhere between level 70-200, there is also a ng+ and you keep items in inventory when you start over. And you can totally reskill your character after doing a certain thing in game
You will die, a lot, everyone does, 1 streamer doing a 1st playthrough has over 1000 deaths so far and is about 3/4 thru game atm. So don't give up, observe and learn the pattern it is key even when there doesn't seem to be one.
Main difference between Elden Ring and other souls games is the path isn't set, ( I played 80 hrs before 1st "story" boss exploring the world) you do NOT have to smash head into wall to "git good" before progressing if something catches your eye check it out never know what you will find and the map is huge.
Finally summons or ashes are "controversial" among "purists" but they are there to help if you choose and certain main npcs are also summons for certain events to assist with combat and add to story. The game can be completed either way without issue other than your personal death count
Enjoy the experience you can only ever 1st time Elden Ring once so enjoy the journey and keep an eye out for shineys. 😊

Heres a tip, there are different damage types for different bosses. Some are hurt by slash, while others are hurt by strike, pierce and standard. If you wanna make it easier on yourself then use summons to aid you in battle (though one half of the Elden Ring community won't like it and may find it less entertaining, since they like overcoming the odds and struggle), or you can fight everything solo and test yourself. There's ? bosses in the game. I won't tell you how much there are (unless you don't mind that kind of spoiler), but lets just say you'll get naturally powerful leveling up from bosses alone

Somethings the game doesnt outright teach you about combat.
Your dodge roll has invincibility frames for a time so you can use that to roll toward attacks to dodge attacks. The direction you roll is very important and your positioning in relation to bosses will often define the combo strings they will do.
The bosses have a hidden posture meter and once full the boss will cower for a moment allowing for a critical attack. The best way to fill the bar is to stay aggressive use jumping heavy attacks, heavy attacks and weapon arts as they fill the meter quicker.
You should expirment in combat as its alot of trial and error.

Lore spoilers if you want. Be aware that the lore is rarely explicitly revealed and is often open to interpretation and theories,so i'm going to tell you what i think happened.
The Elden Ring is an amalgam of Great Runes and lesser runes who make up the laws of the Land Between, and is curently controled by the Greater Will, an Outer God who wanted to manifest it's influence in the material world. To do that, it "sponored" an Empyrean(special beings eligible to ascend to godhood) called Marika, who became the queen of the Golden Order, the main faction of the game.
However, Marika started doubting the Greater Will and along with(at least) one of her Demi-god children, started a plan to creat change(for the better or worse).
In order to initiate theses changes, she decided to break the Elden Ring, launching a war between her Demi-god childrens in order to obtain the fragments of the Ring, called Great Runes.
The winer of that war, the Shattering, would be able to use they'r Great Rune to mend the Elden Ring, in order to create they'r own "Age", with different rules enforced by the Ring, that even Outer Gods are boud to obey.
But the Shattering ended in a setlemate, and the Demi-gods where all either weakened to a point where they couldn't fight anymore(Malenia, Radhan and Godwyn) or paralysed for one reason or another(Morgott, Mohg, Godrick, Rykard and Miquella) and Ranni, the only one still serously capable of wining the war, is waiting for you to help her since she discarded her Great Rune(she is the only non hostile Demi-god and has her own questline and unique ending).
If you have any question, feel free to ask, i might be able to answer.

Yoo, good luck in the game !
Here's some tips that others haven't said (no spoilers)
    1) with NPC's don't forget to exhaust their dialogue by keeping talking to them until they start repeating the same thing.
Don't kill them either unless they attack first basically, their quests often give interesting items etc, one quest in particular is huge in this game (i am talking about a certain four armed blue doll lady...)
    2) if you want a specific armor or weapon that you see in an enemy, you can farm them until they drop what you want.
Runes are dropped by killed ennemies, it's both the Exp and currency of the game, so it becomes quite precious since you use it to level up.
    3) you can explore everything you see in the game, it's that huge, but try perhaps exploring in a certain way to not forget certain zones, since there are many interesting items to be found everywhere.
    4) since it's an open world, don't stay too long in a boss if you're stuck you can also explore elsewhere and come back stronger.
Try out the weapons or armors you come accross both for curiosity of what they do and also to see if they might suit your build.
You can do basically whatever build you can, with every weapon and armor in the game, magic etc.
And lastly, play however you want as long as you're having fun !
    Good luck man 😁

Talk to NPCs multiple times until they repeat dialog.
    Explore thoroughly.
Don't feel bad if you don't understand the lore. It's very convoluted and the game does NOT spoon feed it to you.
Don't underestimate the importance of leveling Vigor. You need to be able to take a hit in this game.
Try different weapons and builds until you find something that feels good to you.
Have fun and play the game the way you want to play it. People will tell you "don't use that weapon/summons. It's OP" "don't use Magic. It's OP" just do what you want and don't listen.
Also, since you asked, the Elden Ring is that golden symbol you see behind the title of the game. It's basically a divine rune made up of a whole bunch of smaller runes. Each rune that makes up the Elden Ring governs a different aspect of reality (ex. The rune of death being part of the Elden Ring means that people can die, but if it's removed, death itself is removed from the world). The Elden Ring is a literal representation of the rules that reality follows in the lands between.

    @esgown4184 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

My biggest pieces of advice for you are as follows:
    ● This game is open world. When you feel you are hitting a brick wall, move on and come back to it another time.
    ● A huge part of this game is enemies respawn when you die or rest at a checkpoint (called sights of grace).
    ● You may want to defeat each enemy once or twice, but DO NOT attempt to kill everything each time you respawn, you will be stuck in the stating area and will feel burnt out. The developers made the enemies Ai to let you run past them- you ARE NOT being a coward for doing this.
    ● Level your Vigor stat (health) and stamina (which dictates how much you can attack and doge). By the end of the early game it is better to try and get these stat points to 30+ health and 20-30 stamina. Larger health means you can survive longer and see/learn bosses complex moves they only use later in the fight. More stamina is useful in the early games because many players' deaths are caused by their panicking and spamming dodge at the wrong time and then dying because they run out of stamina and get hit. They/you need to learn when to dodge an enemy's attacks, but I know this is not as easy as it sounds in the heat of combat. More stamina means you can attack and dodge more- so makes fights a bit more forgiving. Though some bosses, especially 1 early game boss, has a hard move to dodge that is very punishing, so more health is important for these times when you just cannot dodge them yet.
    ● Most of your damage will come from upgrading your weapons with items called smithing stones. Putting stat points into attributes that increase your damage (like strength) increases your damage by a bit but is mainly used so you can use different weapons with higher stat requirements.
    ● Most bosses and mini-bosses have telegraphed move sets you can learn (much of this games appeal is that the bosses are very agile and fun to fight/get into a rhythm with them). If you are recording your gameplay, I would recommend after you die and you had no idea what happened, you look at your game recording to see what specific actions got you killed. And take a break if needed. Most deaths are caused by us players not respecting the boss and getting careless with our attacks and then being caught of guard and dodging at the wrong time (which is only natural after minutes of a butt-clenching fight.)
STARTER CLASS ADVICE! There is no correct choice for your starter class, but there are a few I would recommend for new players.
Confessor or Priest class (these classes are good for utility and survivability)
These classes gives you access to healing faith incantation. At the start of the game, you have limited healing flasks (though you can get plenty of upgrades for them, you will likely not get all of them your first time playing).
Choosing either of these classes will let you have more healing in the beginning, which will allow you to survive longer and learn enemy moves better before you die.
    ● The Priest class is more of an incantation (religious mage) built with 1 strong healing spell and 1 very short-range powerful fire spell. However, their healing spell takes longer to cast and can be difficult to use in the middle of combat).
    ● The confessor is an incantation warrior hybrid who wields a sword and shield and has a healing spell that is faster/easier to use but heals for less than the priest.
Samurai Class (very usful damage class).
    ● There are different types of status effects you can apply to enemies in the game, one of them being bleed, which your Katana starter weapon will have. Each time you hit an enemy with bleed it will place a bleed counter on your enemy. Keep attacking enough and stacking enough counters, and a bleed explosion will happen, which will deal huge damage to enemies- up to 20-30% of a boss's health and will kill most average enemies.
Also, each of your weapons has a special ability (called ashes of war) that will consume your magic bar. The ash the katana starts with is great and can also do a lot of damage.
Mage and Prisoner classes (now that's a lot of damage)
    ● Although I am including these class they're reasons I would not recommend them (despite prisoner having my favourite weapon in the game. It does ok damage compared to end game weapons when maxed upgraded but has a fun move set).
These classes are good for dealing the most damage, rinsing bosses. However, the mage play style favours you running a way from bosses and hitting them with magic from afar. But this means you are missing practice at learning the dodge mechanic of this game, and so will struggle in the mid to late game when you face more aggressive enemies that do not allow you the opportunity to back away or the time to cast your spells. Also, being a mage requires you to pore more stat points into your magic stat (which dictates how many times you can cast a spell/incantation), and will have fewer stat points in health and less healing flasks, because mages have a finite amount of magic, but can turn their healing flasks into magic replenishing flasks (this also applies to the priest class).
I will comment that a lot of Elden Rings community shit on mages for cheesing the game and not learning its mechanics and misses out on the bosses fun move sets and gimicks. (These players are also sore because they died a bunch to learn a boss's moves; meanwhile, a mage kills a boss 1st or 2nd try). However, this is how the developers designed mages, and they can be very fun to play, having a variety of cool spells. Despite what I have said, go for this if you truly wish and do not let entitled comments sway/berate you! Own it.
ADVICE FOR WHEN PLAYING AND EXPLORING THE WORLD
    ● Biggest advice I can give is when you reach a huge gate way leading towards the castle, (there will be a run down town full of enemies in front of it, and a troll through the gate), there will be a sight of grace near the entrance. Go rest at that specific sight- I can't say any more on this without spoiling it. Then go and fast travel to Santa.
    ● In the tutorial area there will be messages telling you instructions. You can also pull up your controller layout in the menu's settings to see what each button does in case you forget. Look for a white-masked psychopath and Santa (who will sell notes guiding you to locations with useful items).
    ● Look out for smithing stones (weapon damage upgrades) - you will need to find Santa to use them. You can find many in most areas, but also look out for mining tunnels/caves, which have large quantities of them. There is one towards the end of the stating area, near a bridge at the far end of a lake.
    ● Seek decrepit churches; some will have flask upgrades. Also, look for little golden trees; those will also have different health flask upgrades to.
    ● Your armour is 80% just for aesthetics and offers little damage reduction. But heavier armour means you're less likely to be staggered out of trading attacks with human-sized enemies. You also have an equip load/carry weight, and if it is to high your dodging will be worse and will consume more stamina.

@@DheezyLive Np madude. Though, one more big tip I do not know how I forgot to include. (I am not sure what the button is on PC, but tapping a controller's right joystick will help you lock onto enemies). When you lock on your usual roll/dodge will become more agile and allow you to dodge around enemies more to attack better. However, I would not do this when facing huge enemies (I only mean gigantic ones like dragons, etc) or when fighting multiple enemies, as the camera angle will screw you and get you killed.
Again as a new player, I would start by trying to lock on, get used to that, and then switch between unlocking and locking on again if the camera begins to screw you over. You can also sprint away faster/better when unlocked.
