Watching this just drives home that I am an amateur at this. Even though I can solve a cube, and am slowly improving, there is a level to this, which I can look at, and can sort of follow, but I will never master.

The "x y" in Leo's solution should be "x' y".
Also, he could have done the ELL alg and thus 1-looked the LL.

2:28 A much more efficient way to solve this last layer case would be (U') M' U M U2 M' U M. It can be executed very quickly and could have possibly gotten Leo a 3 had he recognized it quickly.

At 2:00, why do you think it's not ideal? It's a really good last pair case and the two oriented edges OLLs are mostly good. I feel like you're just trying to make Leo's solution look worse when it's just as good. The only thing that I think Leo missed (which you didn't mention lol) was the really easy 1LLL.
