Hi there, the CL-X unit is a multi-fit format so all plates should fit. You may be required to drill extra holes at the top of your plate depending on the location of the existing mounting holes.
We regularly sell to the EU, including Germany, however to ensure compliance you should check your local laws and ensure that it is installed correctly to the guidelines specified in your region / country.
There are no substantial mounting points useable to go the traditional plate location. While there are products out there that do mount high, they are using a single bolt point, which is not sufficient to safely mount from. We looked at every option we could but short of starting to drill holes directly into bodywork, it simply wasn't possible. Side mount was also not an option as it wouldn't comply with ADR visibility rules.
@@BendApparatus up high ones are worse for it then the design of the CLX700 one. It’s pretty much in the same position as the OEM rear guard - wrapped around the back wheel.
Quality products from top quality brand! Mustard Bikes is Aussie engineering 🤙
Thanks for the kind words Steve!
thx very much
Well done! And what an improvement! I'm not a fan of those scrapers, but this is nice.
Thank you for the kind words!
Does a plate with measurements of 21 cm x 14 cm fit on this tail tidy? These measurements are mandatory in Belgium.

Why not get rid of that all together?

I'm sure these guys make quality parts...but no thanks... I'd rather NOT have that rear tire spray up my back...😅
Personal preference of course! Although if you’re riding in the rain, once you’re wet it probably won’t make that much difference.
@@MustardBikes I did a tail tidy on my triple and would head out after the rain...only to get that rear wheel shart up my back...lol
@@BendApparatus I’m assuming that was an up high style tidy?
@@MustardBikes yup, basic tail tidy. But the triple has a pretty substantial pillion seat ...still got sprayed a bit.

I don't see any point of doing what u did😅 tail tidy without tail tidy🤣🤣
That's personal opinion. We have sold plenty, so there are obviously people who find it a worthwhile modification.
