    Well done mate!!
I can promise you that when you do hook into these wild browns of this size, there is no mistaking as to what you’ve hooked into.💙✝️

Those wild browns never fail to amaze me in terms of just the overall beauty and strength each one brings! I’d love to start night fishing/mousing on that creek soon once school is over!

Absolutely!! A mouse pattern will indeed give you an excellent chance for a wide brown of a lifetime however, being extremely intimate with the stream and knowing where every little tree limb is will be of great value to you, especially fishing in little to no light conditions.

Joe! Tell us everything about your rig setup! Rod? Reel? Line? Leader? Tippet? Love the Walt’s worm! Size?

So I have a Moonshine 3wt 10’6 Epiphany Euro Nymph Rod with a Lamson Liquid reel! In terms of my rig set up, I run a micro leader which is my orange sighter you see”, with a tippet ring to 6x (tippet length determined based on water depth, and a single nymph Size 16 Waltz Worm!

What is the setup you are running? As far as leader, tippet , single or tandem nymph rig? Thanks!

So currently I’m using a “micro leader which is my orange sighter you see”, with a tippet ring to 6x (length determined based on water depth, and a single nymph Size 16 Waltz Worm!

Do you ever use a double nymph rig? I have trouble getting down to the bottom without something heavy. My mono leader is 15 lb, stepped down to a 3x sighter.

Sometimes if I’m in deeper water I’ll definitely use a double nymph rig or perhaps if it’s slightly windier and I want to better anchor my flies to have a “tighter contact with my sighter line and strike zone.” For me personally, I just try to keep things as simple as possible plus you don’t burn through as many flies when you get snagged haha

Omg, that was amazing! Great catch! It looked like you were in some very deep water. That was scary! Can you tell us your rig setup? Rod, line, reel, tippet. Walt’s worm strikes again! Way to go! Which county were you fishing in? Thanks!

Frinkin' lousy commentary. I wouldn't watch this vid with my grandson unless I turned the frinkin' sound off.
