Is this in Bradford County not too far from camptown? Looks like my family's old property that was sold some years back. Shot my first deer there . Pretty sure this is it 😢
Good job on recovering that flintlock deer.
Hi! I really enjoy your hunting content. I sincerely invite you to test our brand-Kalkal's hunting products. I think they could greatly assist your hunting activities! Are you interested in collaborating? How can I contact you?
I'm thankful you kept after the deer and finally got it. I always carry a few speed loads with me, along with some extra powder and balls. Never know if you're going to need them or not. Now, what camera are you using. That's pretty cool.
Your hunting skills are hilarious.😢
Thanks for sharing your youthful enthusiasm and congratulations on a beautiful palomino. I’ve been chasing trout since I was 14 and finally caught my first palomino in the spring of my 68th year….
What? Why in the world would you not take more ammo with you?
Way to keep after it! Thanks for sharing this.
Congrats on getting her. You need to invest in some speedloaders
Like the woodsmanship especially in farmland. I enjoy a 3 step and wait hunt which permits you to creep into a variety of game like deer, bear, bobcat, even turkey. Good job ! Muzzleloaders test your ability to hold on target
Enjoyed your video, what camera are you using, I've had nothing but problems with my gopros, thanks
That looks like you were trespassing that plave looks awful nice.
Switch to conical slugs. A lot more bullet weight vs.patch & ball. And more knockdown power.
I love seeing videos of people hunting in the state i hunt in and my home state
Congratulations on your harvest. Not every shot is perfect. Hunting is an art not a science. Well done bringing that deer in. Lesson learned. Carry a couple of quick loads. But, again, well done.
Don't dispare over the rain coming. Bad weather can often bring good trout fishing. Break out the big streamers when your expecting high water that is stained. Good luck.
I love your videos man!!! I did the same with the bow this year. Grabbed one arrow and said what would be enough. I’ll never do that again !
Just curious...where did the first round ball hit her? Trying to figure out the efficiency of patch & ball. Ive had mixed reviews in my experiences. By the way, great job of sticking to it!
why would we not have several relodes?
@@chrisfitch2905 just flat out forgot.
@@outdoortechpa Ok it happens.
Great video. I carry 3 speed loads with me flintlock hunting. They're small plastic tubes with a cap on each end, which stores a charge + ball and patch all ready to go. It is very convenient for follow-up shots. They're green plastic and come in a package of 3.
I did this same thing in muzzleloader season on a buck years ago only i took out both front legs. Pushed his way in the snow on his chest for about 2 miles before i put another shot in him. That deer saved my life as i quit smoking after that chase. That was in 96. Good job stayin with it and congrats, theres nothin like late flintlock season.
@@smallchunkaground2071 I appreciate the kind words sir!
Hi!!
Wasn't a doe! You can tell from the camera it was a button buck. Glad you missed.
@@timothyransom7101 I’m glad I missed too looking back on it!
What river is this?
Omg I’m so excited lol :)
@@Imyour_nightmares video is dropping tonight! 👌🏻
@ can’t wait :D
Great video and nice doe. Stand offs like that are some of the most exhilarating things you can experience. Glad you got it on tape, keep up the great videos!
How do you unload yourmuzzleloader without shooting it off? If you don't, your carrying a loaded firearm home? if you shoot if off your shooting at random, which is against the law. The game commission are jokes.
@@williambisset7952 honestly I normally just shoot mine out or if I’m staying at my cabin I’ll keep it loaded over the night!
What county are you hunting in?
Try adding a Peep sight, you'll be amazed at how much more accurate they are.
@@stivey79 any suggestions on which ones to get?
@@outdoortechpa going to depend on what muzzleloader you have there are a few out there what brand of muzzleloader are you shooting
We should get together and do some flintlock hunting! I believe we’re close
@@Chevynut01 I’m Lehigh Valley area and also hunt a lot in Bradford County!
@ let me know if you’d like to get together! I think it would be a blast!!!
Deleware water gap huh
Low-key glad you didn’t kill it, but next time please just go for the older deer. It’s not hard to tell an old deer from a young one.
Bro really shot a yearling button buck. 😂
I saw that limb fall after your shot bro
Lets gooooo can’t wait
This looks like our old property in Bradford county
This is located in Bradford county!
That was a button bucks bro .learn how to identify your target unless you shoot button bucks.we never do . unless by mistake.
was this the salmon river in ny?
Congratulations! I guess yiu guys got lucky we had 40 mph winds in Western PA.
You hit that deer. I slowed down the speed and you can see that it did the hind leg kick... And you did not flinch on the shot. Good job on that.
What you talking bout Willis, archers filling tags left and right, yet to let a bolt fly with my Excalibur assassin, and I've been out every chance i've had, including a rutcation
Shot at a moving target with a flintlock eh?....how'd that work for you?
@@timtroxell4528 big miss lol
Make a little mep sound to stop them. It will sometimes spook an old deer but the younger ones usually stop.
Damn kicking it old school with the Loggy Bayou. Wow! Mine is collecting dust in the s hop
@@madsammer love using the loggy bayou!
Where’s your safety harness?
Greetings from a fellow SW PA flint lock muzzleloader hunter.
@@shadetreemech290 wish ya all the best this flintlock season!
What the hell is it with people shooting fawns? Everything about this video has bad ethics written all over it.
I knew a guy who did every single year. He used one or 2 doe tags for that. He lived by himself and said they were the tastiest ones out there. After he filled his doe tag(s) he hunted for a big buck. People's tags are their tags, not YOURS.
A lot of major wildlife management people say if you want your population to grow shoot the fawns.
Why kill a mature nanny that puts out 2 to 3 fawns a year.? Take a yearling instead
Keep that positive attitude over the long run, you'll end being a success at any pursuit!
@@davidburley4196 I appreciate the kind words!! Have a happy new year!
Looked gut shot
Where in pa are you that you have snow. We had 60degrees here
