One More Hike Thru Autumn: Mt. Rainier N. P. | the William O. Douglas Wilderness | Cougar Lake

One last trip into the sub-alpine to cap off my 2023 hiking season. This is a long day hike from Chinook Pass to Cougar Lakes and back. All total it was around 16 miles of walking along the Pacific Crest and American Ridge Trails; weaving in and out of Mt. Rainier National Park and the William O. Douglas Wilderness along the way.
