    My 86 Nissan mini-truck is lowered and rubbing. I'm glad it's fairly straightforward rolling the fender. I think that'll give me all the clearance I need.

    The point of the washers is not to space it away from the caliper, its so your not driving a tapered wheel nut into a flat hole.

    Will this actually push the body out slightly too? And what do you do with the plastic wheel well shield? Do you just leave it off once this is done?

      It will pull the body a little bit but too much and it will look terrible. The plastic shield was not fully put back on die to it being a drift car. Half of it was put back on the part that attaches to where your feet would be

    actually those arent spacers lol theyre to prevent the lug nuts from damaging the roller but i used them for spacers too haha good shit guys

    Great video, no disrespect. But those are not spacer washers for caliper clearance. Those are conical washers for your lugnuts to give more surface area for your lugnuts to fasten to the fender roller. "Needed"?... no. Appreciated?.. yes lol.

      It helps with starting to bend the lip up so it does not cut into the rolling wheel

      The roller head adjusts...could have just set that just past 90 degrees first. No mallet required!

    What does this necessarily do? I mean for fitment I know but what does it do for fitment?

      This basically smooshes the inner fender lip to the fender to provide space to fit larger wheels, different offsets, or larger tires. By applying some pulling pressure you can actually pull the metal out for even more space.

      @@melissahollandsbiggestfan5812 yea people do that, or use a pipe from their jack. This method is the best bang for your buck and will not destroy your fenders. Just take your time and use the heat gun

    should I hear the paint up while I'm rolling the fenders as well? or just one time heating it in the beginning?

      Heat the paint up before and during it will make things more plyable, but just go it too much

      The finder liner was cut, then the fenders were rolled. Haven't had any issues since!

    Hitting it with a mallet? Good way to crack paint.. just use the roller lol that’s what it’s for.

      If you don't bend it 45 degrees with the hammer it'll damage the roller. He said that in the video. Also if you don't use a heat gun, it'll crack the paint.

      They heated up the paint, so the chances of the paint cracking are a lot lower

      Here’s one reason , I made over 35k in one year just showing up at car meets and shows and charged $100 to roll they shit just because your car doesn’t need it. Doesn’t mean other cars don’t think out of the box. It was the best $450 I spend on this now $50 tool wen it 1st came out 😅😅that $450 investment over 3 yrs made me 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰🫡 it bought our home cuhh😅😅😅😅 no more renting for us god bless the hustler’s

    good shit! next time just pull the calipers off. 2 bolts for caliper, 1 clip for brake line. a ziptie or two to hold caliper up outta the way.. botta-bing botta-boom!

      preprodigy thanks for this, but since we did the dual caliper set up we can't pull them off unless we pull of the whole assembly due to the cutting of the knuckle. we didn't want to cut the knuckle down anymore so it wouldn't mess with any of the structure of it. We replaced the pads when we did the dual caliper so we wouldn't have to worry about pulling those off in a while. Lollll

      Camera died at that time. We just heat up that part and used a rubber mallet came out great.

      @@BPoweredLove the tool doesn't reach there and it's a drift car so there is a good amount of suspension travel and I had some big wide boys in the back. Check out my more recent content and you will see that I have no issues.

    Your not too careful . I see you applying too much pressure while rolling the fender. Aren't you afraid off chipping or crack in the paint. I guess not because it's not your car.

      We used heat to help with chipping or cracking of the paint thats what the heat gun was for, and the vehicle is my vehicle.

    The first part about the ‘spacers’ is false. I just figured that out for myself lol. The spacers have a ‘conical’ seat. They go on before the lug nuts. Helps center the tool

    Great video but this does take away the structural integrity in the fender so when you or someone leans against it they have a higher potential of denting your car.

      Just noticed that... That's effing ridiculous. The bracket is like a shim between the bearing and the knuckle. Just seems like a hassle. Is that a SR20DET in that bucket? When i had my AWD Dissapointment the fastest i got in a 1/4 was an 11.2. But i spent so much effin money on that damn car. It got to a point where you question life decisions. I will always remember my DSM....
