Why would you "only need roller", if you said you are convinced to buy it? You are saying you are going to buy it and then it would only need a roller, when you just bought it... It makes no sense 🤔🤔
even if he has a roller, he still needs a roller. if it costs a million dollars to buy a house and i have a million dollars; the house still needs a million dollars to be bought.
My 86 Nissan mini-truck is lowered and rubbing. I'm glad it's fairly straightforward rolling the fender. I think that'll give me all the clearance I need.
It will pull the body a little bit but too much and it will look terrible. The plastic shield was not fully put back on die to it being a drift car. Half of it was put back on the part that attaches to where your feet would be
Great video, no disrespect. But those are not spacer washers for caliper clearance. Those are conical washers for your lugnuts to give more surface area for your lugnuts to fasten to the fender roller. "Needed"?... no. Appreciated?.. yes lol.
This basically smooshes the inner fender lip to the fender to provide space to fit larger wheels, different offsets, or larger tires. By applying some pulling pressure you can actually pull the metal out for even more space.
Z-Bruhz I see. I saw some guy destroy his is300s quarter panel with a bat trying to roll it on Instagram but I never knew what it was for lol. Thanks tho
@@melissahollandsbiggestfan5812 yea people do that, or use a pipe from their jack. This method is the best bang for your buck and will not destroy your fenders. Just take your time and use the heat gun
If you don't bend it 45 degrees with the hammer it'll damage the roller. He said that in the video. Also if you don't use a heat gun, it'll crack the paint.
Here’s one reason , I made over 35k in one year just showing up at car meets and shows and charged $100 to roll they shit just because your car doesn’t need it. Doesn’t mean other cars don’t think out of the box. It was the best $450 I spend on this now $50 tool wen it 1st came out 😅😅that $450 investment over 3 yrs made me 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰🫡 it bought our home cuhh😅😅😅😅 no more renting for us god bless the hustler’s
good shit! next time just pull the calipers off. 2 bolts for caliper, 1 clip for brake line. a ziptie or two to hold caliper up outta the way.. botta-bing botta-boom! good shit though!
preprodigy thanks for this, but since we did the dual caliper set up we can't pull them off unless we pull of the whole assembly due to the cutting of the knuckle. we didn't want to cut the knuckle down anymore so it wouldn't mess with any of the structure of it. We replaced the pads when we did the dual caliper so we wouldn't have to worry about pulling those off in a while. Lollll
@@ZBruhzchannel Ah, thank you for replying. Does the tool not reach, is that why? Also, is it necessary? I can't imagine the tire ever getting anywhere near that low in the wheel well lip.
@@BPoweredLove the tool doesn't reach there and it's a drift car so there is a good amount of suspension travel and I had some big wide boys in the back. Check out my more recent content and you will see that I have no issues.
Your not too careful . I see you applying too much pressure while rolling the fender. Aren't you afraid off chipping or crack in the paint. I guess not because it's not your car.
The first part about the ‘spacers’ is false. I just figured that out for myself lol. The spacers have a ‘conical’ seat. They go on before the lug nuts. Helps center the tool
Great video but this does take away the structural integrity in the fender so when you or someone leans against it they have a higher potential of denting your car.
Just noticed that... That's effing ridiculous. The bracket is like a shim between the bearing and the knuckle. Just seems like a hassle. Is that a SR20DET in that bucket? When i had my AWD Dissapointment the fastest i got in a 1/4 was an 11.2. But i spent so much effin money on that damn car. It got to a point where you question life decisions. I will always remember my DSM....
You could learn how to build a jet on TH-cam 😂 I love it! Good video.
Thank you!
Those are some of the loudest kids I’ve ever heard
Just convinced me to buy one and do it myself. Only thing I need is the roller and time. Awesome guys, thanks

Thanks for the video guys
Best rolling video 👍🏻
Quite useful gentlemen!
That's pretty damn cool.
Can you guess how much we could enlarge a fender with this tool at the max;it probably depends on the car, but it's to have an idea.
Awesome vid 👍
The point of the washers is not to space it away from the caliper, its so your not driving a tapered wheel nut into a flat hole.
My thoughts exactly 😂
I'm also about to do this on my z32, also red!
I appreciate it
working slow and applying heat liberaly is the key
Will this actually push the body out slightly too? And what do you do with the plastic wheel well shield? Do you just leave it off once this is done?
It will pull the body a little bit but too much and it will look terrible. The plastic shield was not fully put back on die to it being a drift car. Half of it was put back on the part that attaches to where your feet would be
What fender roller is that ?
actually those arent spacers lol theyre to prevent the lug nuts from damaging the roller but i used them for spacers too haha good shit guys
Castro Drift haha learned that after we used them lol
All the other vids none use a mallet to start, they used the roller.
Great video, no disrespect. But those are not spacer washers for caliper clearance. Those are conical washers for your lugnuts to give more surface area for your lugnuts to fasten to the fender roller. "Needed"?... no. Appreciated?.. yes lol.
easy he says
i feel like this is more of an art than skill, and im too scared to diy this XD
no heat to avoid the paint chipping/cracking?
Miguel Hincapie we did heat it up, just didn't record doing it because it took a while
why didnt you just use the roller instead of a mallet?
great vid : do you have to hammer the fender first necessarely, or is it to gain time ?
It helps with starting to bend the lip up so it does not cut into the rolling wheel
@@ZBruhzchannel Makes sense ; i'll do that !!
@@guitariste47 sounds good!
The roller head adjusts...could have just set that just past 90 degrees first. No mallet required!
What does this necessarily do? I mean for fitment I know but what does it do for fitment?

Maybe take the calipers off? I don't know, just a thought...
should I hear the paint up while I'm rolling the fenders as well? or just one time heating it in the beginning?
Heat the paint up before and during it will make things more plyable, but just go it too much
@@ZBruhzchannel gotcha! Thanks for the video and response!
How did you guys roll the front with the fender liner?
The finder liner was cut, then the fenders were rolled. Haven't had any issues since!
Removing the caliper would have made it easier I think
Hitting it with a mallet? Good way to crack paint.. just use the roller lol that’s what it’s for.
Also a heat gun is literally used to remove paint 🤷♂️
If you don't bend it 45 degrees with the hammer it'll damage the roller. He said that in the video. Also if you don't use a heat gun, it'll crack the paint.
Exactly
@@abdomar0528 they didn’t pay attention to the video lmaoo
They heated up the paint, so the chances of the paint cracking are a lot lower
Ur supposed to take up to 20-30min per quarter panel and per fender. I probably won't take that long myself. 👍
5yrs later and We still shouting out Twan…🗣🗣😊
That's a 300zx for sure i knew right away i know my car super well lol or should i say my lady
what if i care about my car?
Then don’t get wheels? You pay to olay
Then get wheels within OEM spec and stay stock height or 1/4" drop springs.
Anyone using the roller on a 8 lug truck?
That's a really cool tool.
Cheap too.
Wish I had a reason to buy one.

my car is all wheel drive so my wheel wont turn .. im guessing i need to jack up the entire car so all 4 wheels are off the ground.
Most likely unfortunately 😕
Id just remove the caliper and done. Can continue rolling
👌
Honestly it looks easy, is it really though?
Its pretty easy as long as you take your time!
Wait the last image that's the height you have it at....y u rolling the fender then?...doesn't need it
This was 5 years ago you can see updated footage and car now
Wouldn't it be easier to remove the caliper instead of messing around with those spacers?
For me I would need to take the entire dual caliper setup, so in my case no.
well if bleeding the brakes is faster then slapping spacers on
@@Justinlifts365 true fuck bleeding the brakes. Video method much easier
The only problem I have whit this cheap roller is that you do not have the handle to roll it back and forward...by hand look like not proper

Step 1: Hire chipmunks to beak the inside of the fender to a 45 degree angle

10 mins lol it takes hours to do it correctly
Gman 207 no it doesn’t. It’s actually a quick method. It takes hours if you’re a noob whose never done it before. The pros do it super fast
