This guy is the goose whisperer. Iv killed more than my share with his first call. Boy I have a lot to learn. To me what I learned early on is if they are coming at you don’t blow the call. Just call till they come and STOP.. iv only ever used his first 2 and always limit out on specks if they are flying which is usually every morning we go.

Mervis Saltzmann with Chien Caille Calls in Gueydan, Louisiana has been teaching hunters how to speck call since the late 70's, and if he saw this video, he would consider your instructions the true OLD SCHOOL way. He taught me back in December 1990 when speck huntin' got popular with 30 days and 3 ducks in Louisiana. Again, enjoyed the video very much👍👍👍.
