My favorite is "Halloween Hall o' Fame" from 1977 with Jonathan Winters as a Disney Studios night watchman and a talking jack-o'-lantern in the live segments.
Yes, Mr Winters was one of my favorites as well. He voiced in a few cartoons. I was a kid. He even voiced an evil plush owl. Called Abracadabra from the wish that changed Christmas. You should go check it out. Trust me, he sounds awesome as a villain, but again, he also sound evil as the pumpkin that was in the crystal ball.

My favorite Disney show that I remembered as a little girl was A Disney Halloween. By the way, Return to Oz isn't the sequel to the Wizard of Oz. But it's pretty neat and a little scary.
I love the last cartoons and they're on Disney plus. Actually my favorite disney villains are The Big Bad Wolf, and the 2 animals from The Jungle book. I meant Kaa the python and Shere Khan the tiger. If this person asked me who my favorite villainesses are, they're Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty and The Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. Another villainess I like is Ursula the sea witch from The Little Mermaid. But my favorite Halloween cartoons are Lonesome and Trick or Treat because I love seeing Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pluto on this program.

So I wasn’t imagining things. There WERE two different versions of A Disney Halloween. Loved watching this on Disney Channel as a kid, and also finding the VHS copy at one point.
You're telling me! I used to watch A Disney Halloween Treat on VHS all the time as a kid and never knew there was another one. I didn't find out until I saw a thing called "Halloween Music Videos" that was mostly filled with clips from both specials, and I was surprised to things like The Jungle Book, The Aristocats, Winnie the Pooh, and Lonesome Ghosts in there!
There are a few more actually. I updated the article on wikipedia for "A Disney Halloween" that mentions two versions of that special alone. Disney's Halloween Treat is NOT aversion of that special either, lots of false info in this video.
Part of me wishes Disney could release a DVD collection of ALL of their holiday specials, but part of me is also realistic to the fact that Disney would lock them up, take down all the TH-cam videos, and it wouldn't be as much of a great public secret amongst we Xennial/Millennials.
Is there anywhere online that has the original A Disney Halloween? I was raised on that one, but bought a bootlegged DHT off someone on TH-cam a few years ago...

For this master of ceremonies along with Hal Douglas, both Trick or Treat and Lonesome Ghosts are on Disney plus but they were released in different years. Lonesome ghosts came out in 1937 the same year as Snow White and the seven Dwarfs and Trick or Treat came out in 1952. 4 classic Movies to deal with Halloween are Harry Potter and the sorcerer's Stone, ET the extra terrestrial, Return To Oz and finally The Muppets Haunted Mansion. Trust me this one's a scary but it's neat.

If you do make more please be accurate with your information. I know these are based off "your favorites" but repeating the same misinformation that existed on the Internet when you made this video doesn't help. I appreciate you acknowledged "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" as accurately being the first Halloween TV special, airing in 1955 as an anthology episode around Halloween with the Irving bio and Walt segments (before becoming its own theatrical short film, complete with its own title sequences in 1958) but a couple other items were rehashing misinformation. First, there are TWO versions to "A Disney Halloween" - one premiered in 1981 as an official anthology episode and the other one, the 90 minute one everyone knows about, debuted EXCLUSIVELY on The Disney Channel starting in 1983 until the early 2000s. The problem - the 1981 hour long special was only aired once and at that time it was much harder to record anything off of TV. I had to update the Wikipedia article on this because so many vloggers are rehashing misinformation and sadly the Disney fandom wiki has blocked any edits so the misinformation retains there. Also you mentioned the segment about black cats coming from "the truth about cats" - this is also misinformation and I have no clue where it comes from other than wikis. The anthology episode that discussed cats - from their ancient roots to their ties to superstitions and the like, is actually from the anthology episode "The Great Cat Family" (1956). That segment didn't really have a name but discusses cat's history, which leads me to think the title "truth about cats" is just fan-made to describe the intro for that show (a late educational film, Of Cats and Men, is also sometimes attributed). The rest of the show shows segments from Disney titles with cats. BTW - Disney Halloween Treat (1982) may have been a precursor to the 1983 "A Disney Halloween" but they are also different shows. Disney's Halloween Treat (1982) did have an alternative version for syndicated television named "Disney's Scary Tales of Halloween," often abbreviated "Disney's Scary Tales" which confuses people with all the 1983/1990 VHS/Laserdisc sharing that similar name. This alternate version lacked the headless horseman segment and included Lonesome Ghosts in full. The second Disney Halloween special, which was the first to compile Halloween segments and shorts (you can't count the Spooks and Magic episode from The Mouse Factory because that aired in February of the early '70s even though that technically is the first Halloween compilation special) as a compilation special pre-dating "A Disney Halloween" and all those other '80s Disney Halloween programs, was actually 1977's Disney's Halloween Hall'O'Fame. That too has two different versions - a network version with Lonesome Ghosts (and I am guessing the intro from Pluto's Judgement Day) and a syndicated version without it, which is often the one in current circulation and often ran back to back with the syndicated version of Scary Tales so they wouldn't be redundant with their cartoons. Hope this helps.
