Criteria for this tier list:
Must be able to carry while meeting these 3 criteria:
1: Macro
2: Team Fight Impact (bonus if you do not need to rely on others)
3: Ease of Use (learning curve)
I want heroes you can pick up relatively easy, do what should be done and move up in rank at a decent pace. Not heroes that require half the time learning the heroes or heroes who require allies to be scary.

Hey thank you for hovering your mouse over the hero you are talking about, its really helpful when I want to hear about a specific hero.
Sadface Li Ming and Whitemane. Remember when Li Ming was an unstoppable death machine in the HGC, my god watching GenG play her. One of the funniest games I ever saw was GenG playing both Li Ming and Genji together and exploding the enemy team.
Li Ming is probably still the same in a 5 man high rank party or a competitive team, is just that this is a solo friendly storm league tier list
try seeker at lvl 7. if your damage is getting blocked, a well aimed Q with mirrorball and seeker will deal with anything in the way.
Li ming still performs like that on high levels. Nanoboost li ming getting her resets can wipe out teams solo, the problem is is that in sologames you dont have that. Meanwhile compared to some other mages her waveclear isnt that good. Also dont listen to the other guy and pick seeker on 7. Calamity is the only choice.
But as paradox says, if you are willing to go practice extra and get through their difficulty you can still carry fine with them, whitemane and li ming both.

He's a completely different character now. They stimmed all of hi abilites to be faster and stronger, and made him play as a manaless bruiser instead of a split pusher.
Gazlowe is freaking nuts. Instant ban or get every game for me.

I feel that so much. Currently went down to Bronze 3 (and really feel bad about it) and I think there is a lot true on this list. It may deviate a bit by tier (Bronze Tychus is still not that easy I guess for example) but over all this is incredible work. Thanks alot.
And I hope Nova finally gets changes soon. She does one thing ok (not even best) and everything else sucks.

@@g0rli622 I was long time mid to high silver with occasional gold. Already droppend once to B2 (and only fought out with Azmo Orb build when it was still strong). Now I am back there and there is a specific kind of problem there. You may think you do the right thing but it pisses people of so much they tilt, afk, insult you and so on. This makes the games so random.
@Arthur Schlemmer Dos Santos You can totally climb out. I am currently in this trouble but I hope to have it done soon (TM). First: Be nice. Report, mute, but never talk bad.
Second: Be early on objectives. Better to early than to late. But dont run in and die. Just be there in time (at max 5 seconds after the rest or they will do stupid things)
Third: Try to capitalize of your team. You play Ragnaros and have a Muradin? Have that Sulfuras ready on this stun! Play a Malf? Root under hooks of stitches.
Fourth (at least as important): Macro. Be there, get XP. Get camps. But dont forget to be there in time. Missing 4 XP globes is nothing compared to a 3 vs 5 with a rage quit afterwards.

Not even sure if I can watch it today, but I already like it. Something I will definitely find useful these days
also I found that ppl will understand that a lane is empty and someone has to go there to soak , but when you ping camps , the best camp clear that you have on your team don't understand that it's his job to come to help , so a specific camp clear tier list with consideration of how fast they can do camps and how much mana or health they need to loose for it would be great.it can consider good heroes for lower ranks that do camps great beccause higher ranked players don't need these guides.the best way is to make the tier list depending on the available ranked maps , because new maps has new camps that are defrent than basic old camps (Volskaya , hanamura , infernal ...)
I don't generally like tier lists unless you make one for a specific thing like this one. Really well done, very little I would disagree with.

big same. but most of your S and A heroes get banned anyway, so you gotta work with what you got.
funny enough, i onetricked valeera back in 2019 with 60ish% wr in 100+ games in plat then quit, now i came back and could barely maintain 50%wr in gold and after loss streak of 5 games i switched to w build artanis/d build arthas (both c tier) twotricking for fun and got 3 divisions up in less than 2 pages of match history (can't quite tell you the number of games)

Guldan's W talent at 4 is a trap talent. In most competitive games you cannot complete the channel, you will be stunned, rooted, or knocked out, getting very little value from the talent, and procing it on minions isn't as good as having improved life tap. I think if you go back and watch all of the times in which you get the reset you'd be surprised to see that it happens very rarely in important moments of games. The W build's power actually comes from increasing your spell power at 7 and 16 too. Curse of Exhaustion at 7 is ok too, but in most games your team mates have slows and stuns, and having 15% more spell power (later 35%) on ALL of your abilities really dwarfs the 50% increase to Drain life, because lets be honest as Gul'dan most of your damage comes from the other abilities, not Drain Life. At 16 getting Darkness Within furthers the spell power spike, to 35% on all of your abilities, and makes your healing from Drain Life crit for numbers that are very close to those you get from the Curse of Exhaustion and Darkness Within. With this build you way more damage in general than pure W build, and you get fantastic self-healing, you're less of a gimmicky sitting duck for most of the team fights as well. the Pure W build is a meme build for ARAM, it should not be taken seriously at all.
Hey I am blind and was wondering if you could write them down on a pinned comment or text google doc for instance so I could know what is what. I cant see well enough to see all the images and know what hero it is. Thanks for this accomidation if you choose to do it.
My biggest trouble in lower leagues is double soaking, except for new warhead junktion. Otherwise people will brawl mid and I can't double soak bot and top. How do you manage to have your team allowing you to doble soak without killing themselves or not soaking the other lane?

I type in chat. otherwise, I just hand out on bot and wait for them to die/win/leave mid and start soaking two lanes.

pls update this tier list through the entier year after every major Update simply by changing the tier list ( no video needed no presure) , or with a short video to explaine the change into the tier list and the reason why , and make a playlist : " 2021 tier list" for us to follow
What my question is. You say double soak, but how do you get the low ranks to go 4man while you double soak when they don't even know what soak is, much less double soak.
Interested in this, too. Really a problem. Even though I understand this is for Bronze to Diamond so there is a lot of difference.
Macro and soak is the key to get out of lower leagues. If you manage to get your team ahead in lvl they will most likely win teamfights..and have NO idea why they do. There will be some games where you get pinged and flamed, but just stick with it. The games with the endless aram mid is just a coin-toss anyway, even if you are there.
Map-awareness is practically non-existent, so abuse/use things like camp-timing and soaking while the opposite side have the objective. You will make up for most of your teams loss of objectives.
It’s a pain. Just takes alot of typing and pinging but I got it to work usually. Now what’s hard to do is get them to be an effective four man. I would be double soaking against 2 sometimes even 3 enemies and my 4 man would just be afking in lane not taking camps or even pushing the tower.
When game begin you just go double soak. If the enemy do 5v4 your team will usually still win due to tier advantage or lv10. If you macro well and do good timing camps, the enemies are forced to clear them. If they dont clear the camp and go for obj they get serious structure damage which might be even more valuable than the objective itself and push the lane which at some objectives will make you easier to defend (garden of terror, cursed hollow, alterac pass..). When I started playing AFK soaking (which is what im doing when i solo queue with people that dont know about soak or dont/cant soak anyways) and totally ignoring team with leoric, murky, malthael, i was always winning the early game and usually leading to win. (Mostly expect some crazy comebacks with 1 objective comeback win which is why you should not give up till core is dead) Ignoring the team will usually make them angry even at winning phases usually because they die somewhere and they have to spend their death timer chatting and that sometimes can even lead to a lose so ignoring team is kind of random and not safe. The thing is you obviously cant always win because of the team members which might be toxic or something being aggresive and calling you noob for soaking. Its always a benefit to not pick a fight and start arguing and if you already did by a misunderstanding or whatever you need to not go against them and not help them in game etc.
So I would say in low ranks its actually macro and try to keep your team friendly (which is usually ruined by a random death while you were winning and this likely makes him think that his mvp is ruined and starts blaming people even for his 10sec death timer etc.) Late game can sometimes be tough with power spikes that the players may not even know and suddenly just comeback take an objective and win. The game is really never over till their core is at 0health. And this is actually something really important as well. You can comeback with good descision making / forcing a good teamfight (catch their team with a bad positioning off guard across the map). I ve lost game with 1%core in the enemy team and about 2-3% too while we had all forts.
My opinion and what I did to get our of bronze within silver and got me to gold totally ignoring silver.
I recommend watching NotParadox videos to learn the game better tho just like I did and im still doing definitely improving. There are people that are 2k level in hots and dont know about the macro play, so its actually complex to learn the game without the high level guides of gms which will help you learn faster for sure anyways.

I played Guldan E-build a lot in duo queue. If you land E after lvl16 on a stunned target it's dead. Also your horrify can possibly win every teamfight.
I feel guldan is really good, my best hero personally. I think W build is where it's at now tho. 😄

Lucio has a lot of impact. Securing kills and especially giving the team the ability to choose when to engage and disengage with speedboost.

I guess the important thing to remember about this is that if you can't actually play these heroes you probably shouldn't be drafting them. The amount of times I've seen a person draft Malthael and just absolutely could not play him, 10+ deaths by the end of the game.
There is honestly only one tier choice here I disagree with. Just one. Artanis. He is so solid if played well. Excellent at poking excellent at setting up and at securing he kill and reasonably beefy. I'd put him in B tier.
That being said paradox you are a better player than I am so maybe I'm off the mark :)

I see so many Artanis being bad at swaps, it's like half of the carrying potential in Artanis. Otherwise he has a 4 sec blind, which you could have sort of on another hero. No escapes, no reliable cc if no swaps, just damage and some tankiness in a bursty meta, not great. With that said, I do have my best winrate on him. Also, he hurts, but can other bruisers and assassins do the same ? Yes.
I am a Alarak main who played also a tons of Qhira and as you would think, I disagree with you on the Feast and Famine thing for a particular reason. Alarak for about a year have a build that can let you carry and get your sadism back if you die pretty quickly. At least, much more quickly than his other build does. I am talking about this AA variant build [13221143]. Since none of the talent you take reduce the your initial sadism and at 13 you go with Blade of the Highlord which is the easiest to stack of the three option because you also picked the slow of your pull at 7, you can stack up the sadism much faster than any other build on Alarak. Also, it is a build less dependent on your team reaction since you combo off of yourself with the slow to get 3-4 AA when you pull someone. if you get a kill all by yourself on a Ana for example, you get 13% of sadism increased right there with 4 AA off. often more than not you'll get some on the tank here and there while getting back some Show of Force sadism. The downside of this build really is that you don't get the reduced cooldown and rage increased on your W but you trade this off for far more kill potential on your own and the ability to come back at high sadism much faster. Nothing beats a Alarak that get a lot of pulls for far away for the team but in a scenario with less coordination, this build offer a lot of value and much easier to get back with a good amount of sadism if you die.

Body Check and cooldown reduction on W from autos at 4. Always take Warlords Challenge, the other one a possibly the worst heroic in the game.
I put Johanna in B Tier now. Her waveclear is abysmal now, and I just don't feel like she brings any real value besides the blinds anymore. She can't camp, she can't quickly clear a wave and rotate back to a fight, she can barely peel, she has a weak initiate on lower ranks where the follow-up is pretty late.
She has plenty of blind and survivability, but apart from blocking skillshots with her face and throwing out a bunch of hammers she just doesn't have much impact.
can you update this to 2022? at least the picture, I saw some vids about balance changes, yet it's hard to me to sum it up to this date.
raynor is very underrated just because it is the first hero you get. probably top 5 greatest dps output if not number 1

This one is for the best champions to carry and climb with(think master yi) vs actually meta champions which is im assuming is icy veins list(think rammus, azir, etc.)

I have to disagree with most of the top choices.They're missing the "easy learning curve" requirement. Mei, Malth, Orphea, Cassia easy to learn heroes????
The other thing is that it's ignoring the reality of climbing the ranks in solo queue. A huge value is placed on how well they can double soak, but double soaking just isn't a thing until around Platinum. Bronze to gold, your team is either going to ARAM mid all game (meaning you can't double soak top & bot) or have someone in every lane. Any double soak value is wasted in those cases. There's also stuff like "avoid objective fights until level 7". You're never going to convince a bronze-gold team of randos to go along with all that. Some are going to show up at objective, and your choice is either joining them while your hero is still weak pre-spike or not joining, suffering a 4 man wipe, and having your team tilted at you the rest of the game.
Srsly i dont unverstand how are able to carry as Tank. Sometimes When i stun 4 people in mosh pit...my teams rlly run away, when in actuallity this is the gg move.

Main features include missing every skill shot, inting as much as possible, taking uneven man fights and dying because of it, never soaking, picking garbage heroes like stitches and not doing anything, and most importantly thinking they are the best players on the team and blaming you for everything when your the only one on the team that’s doing the right thing.
@@greatgatorgaming6024 Oooof, there are so many of them in all tiers... but it seems silver and gold are the worst. I heard Gold is the hardest tier to get out of because of this. I lost count of the times I got players who had zero communication, picked heroes with zero regard to composition, could only play 1 or 2 heroes (not 1 or 2 roles, 1 or 2 HEROES)... and the main defining feature - they think they're so awesome.

Yeah gold was a pain to get out of. The key is to just soak xp like a mad man while simultaneously staring at your team and spamming retreat pings when they’re about to do something stupid. And then praying they listen and not all die.

What about LiLi pre nerv patch? "w"-"d""q""e""q" build with heal ultima? :) my LiLi was easy 75-90k dmg each game and to be honest I outlane all the solo laners that I encounter expect Yrel,because "w"+"e" combo (2 blinds) are high dmg and is save hit u don`t need skill shot :) for example if u lane vs Naze,after 4 combo Naze will force to port back to core or get assist :) same apply to orphea since u can dodge all his hits,but u can still hit her with the 2xblinds :) run around dodge and hit :) with LiLi dps build with heal ultima u can 1vs1 altmost all heroes except some warriors and bruisers that can`t kill you but u can`t kill them too :) and LiLi is the most easy hero to play,the only trick is to be in range to hit with the blinds :) I will say LiLi is in top 5 carry hero,and have 75% winrate if u go as second suport since u do a ton of dmg and of-heals too even if she was nerv and don`t have anymore 2xblinds shots :)

rewatching this video and I agree with it more but I have a problem with the ease of use every hero except abathur the lost Vikings and maybe some other squshies they are all very easy to use samuro has a high skill ceiling but the skill floor is the lowest I can think of any hero just run up hit Q and run away when you get ganked and spilt push forever

in MOST situations, Sonya is strictly better than Raynor - FAR better lane clear and during team fights is not susceptible to getting focused like Raynor is; there are some combinations or even maps where Raynor can be more effective, as well as for his constant damage output from afar, but generally Sonya is the more effective

Raynor...I've played him since closed beta, when everyone saying he is weak and boring: nowdays, it's most stable and versatile range assasin in game.
Ironically, back then he was a gem. He was even better in some regards as he could do a lot of damage and be very hard to kill with his OP heal. I would play with Raynor and would constantly poke with AA. If someone jumped on me, I would disengage and let my knockback and heal save me. His Hyperion did a lot of damage, it still does. His banshees were better, because you could macro them more. They would go all over the map and could pick off stranglers. It was far better ulti than it is now, but was way too hard for supposedly easy hero. Sylvanas also got a massive nerf ot her mind control ulti. I liked her more prior her rework.

Here is a little tip/warning for Garrosh. His level 1 E talent is increasing with level ups. At level 20 I couldn't do my w to q combo without problems anymore. I was throwing the enemies farther than my q range.

EDIT: just to clarify, when one of your criteria is "easy to play" some of these make way less sense than others... I get heroes like Kerrigan, KTZ and Whitemane being dropped down for this reason but having Orphy and Raynor on same tier, implying they have the same skill floor...? I spent the whole video trying to figure out if this list is geared towards new(er) players heading into ranked for the first time, or people who are hardstuck. It seemed like the importance of each criteria wavered a decent amount from hero to hero. I feel like there's too many heroes too far up on this list because you are actually good at them and/or actually good at the game. People who can hard carry as Uther aren't hardstuck in B/S and perhaps don't even need a carry tier list, and if half of Bronze starts OTPing Uther healer after watching this video then ranked is about to get _real_ toxic. I feel like instead of a tier list, making separate videos for B/S/G carry and P/D/M carry with just a hand-picked group of heroes for each would have made more sense (even if _some_ heroes overlap), as here we have heroes in the same tier but for completely different reasons and in totally different situations.

I would Move Azmodan higher, he has a catch-up mechanic in low ranks
He has a really good macro.. But that's basically it, ofc 400 stack balls hit hard, but it's still a 10 sec CD, and during that time he doesn't do much else in a TF, compared for instance with a tassadar, Who can also clear lanes easily but has a way better kit for TF, also azmo is kinda map dependant, so yea, not that great.
He has bad damage without cd. Ball stacking in low league alone is super hard (I see games at level 22 still no 400 stacks (but still has the storm talent for 400 stacks)). Other builds are less dependend but still don't carry that well.
@Sixten Ålin He may be fine but I am sure as hell he is not carrying that well. And that's this tier list about.
@Sixten Ålin I am playing EU and speak specifically about high Bronze to low Gold. His globe build is a carry due to the macro on range. His E is not. It is fine as I said. But you depend on your team, mostly to not dive 4 vs 5 during the push.
@Sixten Ålin Ranged ball is not only a bit stronger. It allows to clear another lane without rotating. You can threaten 5 vs 4 / 4 vs 3 and still clear. E may clear a lane fast enough but you can't argue it has better waveclear.

I quit, about 1,5/2 years ago. Probably planning to give it another chance, also the fact that 90% of the player base still have no idea how to play Nova in a proper way, after many years is just funny. 😂
First mistake what most people do is following a build what they don't understand. The second is they go for triple tap, which a situational ultimate. Not even gonna talk about the major one which is not picking up anti-armor shell.
How to be a good Nova:
1st: Covert Mission:
Always useful to have. Stealing camps can lead your team to a huge advantage.
2nd: Anti-(Mutha-)Armor(-Fuckin') Shell:
I might need to remind the fact that you are a BURST assassin, not a marksman. Your steath is your defense. Go in get out type of tactics. Can eat some bruisers.
3rd: Precision Strike:
Better, than it's counter part: Triple tap. Why? The reason is simple, cuz you can use it anywhere in the map. Can help your mates when you aren't there. Snipe people with it in the last minute, when they are recalling, so they don't expect it (trust me, 75% of em truely not). Sometimes use it to get rid of the enemy's nexus (It's rare, but i did it a couple times 🤣). Can use it to wave clear, when there're a huge pack of shity minion pack is on the way. It's just universal.
4th: Explosive Round:
Let you wave clear, even tho it's not much, but it still helps. On the otherhand not always a must pick.
5th: Precision Barrage:
You can use another Precision Strike.
This is just the build, you need to comfortable with the stealth mechanic and how to land your q to shot your focus target, bassicly positioning. She's one of the best roamer. You can apply pressure to other lanes in seconds.
Overall she's good, but requires some dedication and some cunning. You gonna win against most of the matchups, if you know the basics. On the other hand, even i tend not pick her all the time, cuz she's situational pick. No matter how i love her, but she's far from worst or bad.
Was plat II (as solo) back then.

She is great when you have good AA player on your team. Especially Tychus. Stim with D or Odin is damn good. So you can't carry but make it easy to carry for other.

i do a good job on Ilidian. but in 1 vs 1 i cannot win against 50% of other heroes. but i can do camps and mechanics pretty good with him
@Professor Thinker Well im mostly get MVP still. and there is no way to beat some of those Burst classes with Illidian. even with all the dodge mechanic. and i didnt say most of the time. but abotu 50% of all the other heroes

Malthael s tier... how!? He's literally the only one I don't understand. Even fan feeds on Malth most of the time.
You can 1v1 most other bruisers in the game, and are the best double soaker/camp taker.
@@croket07 Sonya does literally everything he does but better. Maltheal can't do anything better. I see no reason to draft him... ever.
Sonya has worse sustain, is harder to play optimally. I currently love playing sonya but malth can be really strong. Malth is also pretty strong into a sonya.
Malthael can also be a source of healing denial against double support.
