one of the greatest opening scenes ever for a zombie movie
The opening scene was crazy! Especially how they just dropped us in with a group of people and I had no clue at all what to expect next.
-Adison
@@edn So crazy The Boondocks used it in the 3rd Stinkmeaner episode
One of the greatest opening scenes to a zombie movie isnt even from a zombie movie lol
they never were or have been zombies
@@UnnLykley Finally someone else said it, they call an Infected movie a zombie movie, it's not that hard to understand the difference lmao
Don was right to close that door. Cause how tf he was downstairs killing infected to give u time to escape and you doing the most for a kid u met 20 min prior. Nah. My priority as a mother would be to try everything to survive so I can find my kids. 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🖤
I feel you! I understand she had a motherly desire to help that kid out but because she did that she put the whole family in a tough predicament. I honestly think she may have been doubtful that she was going to get her kids back and saw that new kid as an opportunity to be a mother to someone again.
-Adison
@edn oh you're def right. Its hard to imagine in a situation like that what you would do. It was such a shock when u first watch it tho. The first time my son watched it with me (he was 9) he said was shocked but said "yup. Im sorry mom but I would close the door too" 😂 This Gen dont play!
@atmorb it was a bummer of a situation, but the guy at that point would have been only able to sacrifice himself, only to become a zombie ten seconds later.
On another point? How are you gonna fight one of these f##ks who can infect you with ONE drop of blood, with your hands!?
You're asking for it at that point.
Omg so many great one liners from you guys in this one; from "full custody variant" to "judgement has been passed", "they can smell the disobedience", "Ike turner has nothing on him".. Brandon's whole rant at the end had me deadddddd. The vibe between you three is always great to watch.
Preciate you!! 😂😭 It’s definitely always a fun time when I can get them together to watch some content 💯

Those werent zombies, just rage-infected people. That's why don punches his wife and bite her: pure rage. Same goes with the other ones. Thats why the infected died of starvation later.
One of the hardest openings to a movie
Facts!!! They got straight to it at the beginning of this film!
-Adison
The virus is rage, they said it in the first one. Biting is a secondary behavior
Zombie's had them pursuit angles on Don coming down that hill lmfao
Man! They were tracking him like a homing missile!
-Adison
@@edn are you guys gonna check out Zack snyders dawn of the dead. Another good opening. You'll enjoy. Would like to see it reviewed on the channel.
They’re not zombies
Excuse me, 'infected'. @@meatwagonx33
The funniest line: disobedience! Oh now we scared. 😂😂😂
😂 The kids were outta pocket for sure!
-Adison
I still love that The Boondocks parodied the beginning of this movie in the Hateocracy episode (Granddad's dream with the Stinkmeaner clones attacking and he's the only one who escaped)
They announced a movie called 28 Years Later is in the works with the original writer and director of 28 Days Later. Cillian Murphy might return to star
Either way, I believe he's co-directing. Producing too, obviously.
@@Mk-gk3wvproducing and starring yes
First of, thank you for reacting to the first 28 Days Later and reacting to 28 Weeks Later - the most polarised sequel to its predecessor. Means a lot and when the day comes, I’ll be seeing yer reaction to 28 Years Later soon when it’s out on our own film screens someday.
The music piece for Don’s transformation into a zombie and killing his wife was originally used for Frank's death from 28 Days Later and that broke our hearts when we see a guy who is hoping there would be civilization left in the UK after the rage virus devastated the country die after saying his final "I'm sorry" and "I love you" to his daughter.
And now, we see Don, a guy who became very regretful for leaving Alice - his wifey and mum of their two kids - to die, saying what would be his final "I'm sorry" and "I love you" to her before turning into a monster who is fighting within his rage, hence the name "rage virus".
So Frank and Don have got things in common: they're both fathers, they were married before the Rage virus outbreak, they got infected in a different way (Frank from blood drop from corpse and Don from a kiss with a carrier) and their last words before turning included "I'm sorry" and "I love you".
P.S. Frank gets gunned down immediately after he turns by assault rifles while Don gets gunned down with an assault rifle by his daughter later on
One last thing I gotta get off my mind: Don Harris should’ve had a redemption story-arc in which Alice doesn’t infect him but a US soldier or two would end up getting infected by Alice.
Soldiers would come in on General Stone’s orders and forcibly remove Don outta the room before he would kiss Alice, confused and wondering whats going on until he realizes that she is infected yet immune. The troops then heavily guard the area, with Don heartbroken by whats happened to his wife and driven by guilt for abandoning her. That is until Alice accidentally bokes on one of the soldiers’ face, leading to her very own death at the hands of the two infected (instead of infected Don), getting killed the same way she did and thus causing the Rage virus outbreak in District One.
When Andy gets separated from Tammy & Major Scarlet Levy, Don will put pressure on NATO to track his son down and then get chased again by infected who get gunned down by the troops, who also have to kill uninfected.
Don would’ve joined not only his two kids (who are grateful he’s alive yet pissed off at him for lying) but also Scarlet and Doyle from the very moment they escape from District One before the firebombing commences.
Rest of the film goes as normal - Doyle getting set ablaze by the US troops, Scarlet beaten to death with assault rifle by an Infected - by the end of the storyline I came up with for Don, he will make the ultimate heroic sacrifice by pouring a loada perfume (the rage zombies’ catnip) all over himself, admit his fault and saying his final “I’m sorry” and “I love you” - he would inject himself with his son’s Rage-infected blood so that he would distract a herd/mob of the infected, maybe beat and kill a few or a bunch at a time.
Don’s transformation into a zombie in this scene the way it’s filmed and choreographed remains the same in my version but he would’ve looked at his two kids and control his own rage - exhibiting form of sadness knowing that he’s a goner. Then he runs off. The infected crowd would gain upper hand at Don, who then lights himself on fire due to the perfume being flammable, thus setting off chain reaction to the infected crowd being set ablaze, all of em including Don then die at the hail of gunfire by NATO troops.
How about them apples?
I feel like they’re not zombies in the traditional sense. It’s like they transition from rage human to zombie They are Rabid / Feral people. They have high temps and are not cold blooded. And then somehow then turn Zombie. But yes definitely a cheat situation for not having any weakness I wish they had another movie to get into the science of their creatures.
You're right about them being rabid, feral people, but they're just to the point where they don't care because they're in a blind rage. So, in short, they aren't zombies.
Since they’re not true zombies, they can be killed just like people can, fire, chemicals, bullets, hypothermia likely, bombs, artillery, drowning and even hunger can all kill them. Hell if it weren’t for the son being transported across the channel they likely would have contained the virus. Tbh there were a lot of preventable and dumb things in this movie, especially when compared to the first one.
ahaha goddammit, "he got that full-custody variant" made me snort tea out my nose.
7:41 last meal had me 💀
When Don kills his wife it's a call back to the first movie when Cillian Murphys character kills the lead soldier. If you go back to that movie you'll notice his character had two different colored eyes too. Which would mean more people have an immunity to the virus. That immunity could lead to a cure. There was supposed to be a 28-month later movie too, but it never happened.
Now there working on it
22:56 it’s because the virus makes you rage it’s necessarily just zombies mindlessly eating people. They rage and tear them apart n stuff.
This movie went crazy
I really want them to make a part 3! Especially with how much technology, cinematography, and special fx has progressed now. I know it would be crazy!!
-Adison
Can't blame them fully but those two kids just cause trouble.
Watching it with adult eyes. Yes. They were horrible
😭 I don't think these kids even know what a belt is!
-Adison
The guy in the middle is the first to call it as it is, a lose-lose situation. Yeah, he ran away, had he stayed he'd be dead.
24:10) One of the most savage kills in a horror movie is the doctor-soldier SPLATTING the infected brain on that window. No hesitaton. BAM.
40:22 the most wise words i have ever heard in these reaction fake friends things....."take the whoopin instead of the punishment" with yall brought this friend on more, good shit, entertaining to watch somin and laugh for 40 mins or an hour
I just watched this one 2 days ago....so underrated.....so prepare yourself for 28 Years Later....the official sequel coming from Boyle and Garland together again ❤
Not as good as the first, but still enjoyable
You think they will make a 3rd one???
-Adison
@edn there were rumours a while ago that boyle was interested in doing another but tbh I think that ship has sailed. Check out slumdog millionaire if you haven't already, another great danny boyle movie
@@ednApparently they are and it’s been greenlit in January 11th, the title is 28 Years Later. With Cillian Murphy from the first to executive produce it.
“she half and half like brisk” i’m rollin 😭
This Movie is in my top 8 best Zombie movie for me 👌🏼 Please if you haven't watch RAMPANT (Korean Zombie Movie) please do watch and react to it too 🤗
they are not even zombies
The wife was restrained. The husband kissed her and got infected with rage.
No, you don't leave your wife or your kids.
I completely agree with you! I was just letting it be known that it was definitely a lose lose situation if he stayed to help. Especially after knowing that the dad....(***SPOILER INCOMING SO DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE FILM YET***)
ended up being one of the WORST POSSIBLE kinds of zombies. 🤦🏾♂️
-Adison
They’re infected with “rage” not Really zombies
10:10 if I get trapped by zombies in a situation like this…will you help me out? 😅
😭😂 I got you!! Just because the one music cover you have uploaded is dope & we definitely will need some good music to help the hard times seem less hard!
-Adison
Been waiting for this man lol
I had it in the vault for a few weeks but was just able to knock out the edit yesterday! This film was a good one though!
-Adison
Olympic Zombies
Man the people were the cream of the crop athletes before they turned into zombies I guess!
-Adison
Im excited for 28 Year Later Jim is return for the third movie
Gosh dang you dudes are entertaining lmao
Y'all need to reaction to Resident Evil all Six movies ❤❤
I got you!! I'm adding it to my list! ✅
-Adison
@@edn Thank u
Nah, I'm a woman and I wouldn't leave my husband behind. We would be just like Jim's parents in the 1st movie, dying together. Living in a world like that isn't worth abandoning your loved one.
And the reason why the mother dkdnt want to leave the kid is because she's a protective parent. They showed the difference between those two as parents from the very beginning.
damn.this movie was ruthless lmfao
You guys should watch the descent
I thought the dude on the right was Nina Bo'nina Brown and I was shocked it wasn't. He should've been Blac Chyna
human instinct kicks in and I’m sorry but when horrific shit like that going down I’m not getting ripped apart alive. like you said - lose lose. No one can say what they’d REALLY do in a situation such as this lol.
The Sadness Reaction?
Will you let the kid in if you were on the mother shoes?
Dang…that’s a tough one…🤦🏾♂️
-Adison
She didnt make it bruh😂😂😂😂
Facts. -Brandon
I can't hang on to just a little hope huh? 😂
-Adison
not zombies
Were they something else?...
-Adison
infected. none of the them are living dead, just infected with the 'rage virus'.
they don't even bite, except in a frenzy of violence, but they love to throw up blood on the uninfected, spreading it, if they don't beat you to death first@@edn
@@ednInfected people, they are not dead, zombie means a undead person
Okay I gotcha I see what you mean now 👌🏾
-Adison
Can you blame him for closing the door tho? What the fuck was he supposed to do? Karate chop the fucking zombies? plus it’s their fault for letting in a random screaming kid who possibly could’ve been the reason why the horde fucked them up…
Yall sound like yall from the M lmfao
Brandon and Kali are lol I’m from Nashville and just like playing around with Memphis slang 😂😭
-Adison
@@edn yall gained a sub just from that
Good channel, subbed 👍🏼 just advice: try not to talk so much to the point you miss whats happening, even little things
Why Don he did not call the police on the infected people did the close the right door on the zombies and he lost his wife why you do not have to call 911
28 weeks later ruined the idea
You guys gotta do dawn of the dead by Zack snyder. That had a great opening too.
Is that a newer film or older one. I feel like I’ve heard that title before.
-Adison
Older
You know what elsewould be great to do dark skies with Keri russell a very slept on alien movie. It's older too.
@@edn it's older
