Dean, An alternative to using the drill to drill the Eye bolt hole is a small hand turned drill. My wife purchased me a small hand drill and small drill bit set at hobby lobby and it works fantastically. I was skeptical at first but it is the handiest tool ever for that purpose. It has a Collett to hold the bits and it is so easy to precisely put it where you want it and drill with it and control it without snapping the drill bit off. And it takes up a little to no space and you can leave it very handy to grab and use instantly. I have mine in a little holder sleeve that is within arms reach. Nice video again!!
Great project Dean. Great to see you back in the shop and doing video. Whistles, tops, light pulls, and a couple of other items should be on all our lists as impulse buys items for our booths. You’ve given us a great example. Thanks for sharing.
🤔Know how to make a mini wooden train whistle? The typical wood train whistle has such a cheery sound and is too quiet to bother most people when blown in public. ☺️ Been looking for a travel-size one: an auditory-sensory toy gift for someone on the autism spectrum. One to go on a keychain or necklace.
I cringed when you spread that keyring with your fingernail. How do you keep from breaking those fingernails? If I let my fingernails grow even a little, they collect dirt under them and snag on things and break. Great video on making a whistle but I couldn't help fixating on those fingernails. No disrespect intended but I've never seen anyone who works with their hands have such fingernails. And they were so clean too.
Very enjoyable Dean
Glad you enjoyed it, Thanks for Watching!!
