Need Dexcom 7 to move to direct apple watch…kindergarten starts 2 weeks…only way to monitor is with phone or receiver … challenging for 5 year old with phone in school! Have a Fanny pack for now, but cumbersome for child…How long before Apple Watch to work without phone😳 PS no insulin pump yet…doc’s want to wait, 5 sticks per day… 😢
@@diabe_tech I love my Omnipod Dash; Omnipod 5 was just approved in Canada in June but we can't buy it yet; still not available for purchase!! I just connected my first G7 but when I sent it to myself to 'Follow' there's nothing in the email; what is wrong with it/me?
I had not been able to get my sugar levels on my series 3 Apple Watch. I called apple and I called dexcon more than once and they had no clue. After watching this video 3 times I now have my levels on my watch face at a touch. Thanks

Does the follow app work on samsung watches as well? I would love to be able to keep up with my 6yo daughter's readings on my watch as well. If not, I really hope they will consider this in the future. It would definitely be more convenient.
Do you know if you can monitor multiple Dexcoms on one device? I work at a camp for kids with Type 1 Diabetes and need to be able to view multiple campers at once. Thanks!!
Thanks for this video. I'm trying to setup Dexcom Follow to view my son's #s on my new Apple Watch SE and it does not show up in the list of options for adding to complication like you showed so easily in the video. It shows as an app on my apple watch but I can't figure out how to get it on a watch complication! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Glad I could help in some way. I find it odd that you cant. I'd say restart phone, watch, and even delete and re-install the Follow app and see what happens.
what if I have the g7 and I have an ipad. I download the app for the ipad(follow). Unable to hear notifications. Just came from the g6. Settings did not change and was able to hear on the g6.

Yes! I too love that clock in the background! I need that for work! I am always being approached by co-workers with questions that require complex answers. I do computer system validations. When I'm low, I'm not in good position to answer them. I was thinking of getting a tablet that displayed my numbers and turned red when I was low. I put up a red sign now but many people overlook it. I think a tablet or a clock like this would be incredible. Let us know. THX Keep up the great work. I just found you while looking up info on the Dexcom G7. I am a tech guy and I just love your take on Diabetes tech. You are awesome. I'm an ultra runner who loves the Dexcom environment . It has made my ultra adventures much more fun and less scary. Awww yay! OK, so the device is called Tidbyt. It is running a user-made app which requires a Nightscout app to post sugar readings. It isn't terribly hard to set up, but I pay $5 a month to keep it going. It works with Dexcom, Libre 2 and Eversense I believe - will make a video about it. In the meantime, @UltraPowderfinger, I recommend you check out Sugar Pixel (link in description of my video). It is AWESOME, has an app, easy to setup and has multiple screens that show colors, emojis and blood sugar numbers.

Direct to Apple Watch is coming by end of 2023!

There was a new update. Unable to get watch faces for Samsung Galaxy watch 5 pro/Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra/Dexcom G7.
