HAPPY WEDNESDAY upload guys and gals!! Loads of you wanted me to film my own training so here it it!! Comment if you want more of this style? 🎉 don’t forget to like & subbbb LY❤
It took me a year - a YEAR - to gain the flexibility necessary to do Front Squats comfortably, with the weight properly resting on my shoulders, not my hands. Best investment in training I ever made aside from running. Fastest quad development I ever experienced. Better than back squats. I'm a bit tall with long legs and back squats, even with a wedge, hit my lower back more than my quads. Front squats immediately start making my quads better. And I have enough life left in my lower back to do a hard deadlift session in the same week. Age? 62.
Loved this video😊 would love to see a video on periodization and regulating volume and intensity during a training cycle plus how you handle deloads etc
Hope your injury heals soon Lucy! I'm injured too and I'm missing the gym so much. I've just been walking and some yoga. I have the worst back ever. Pull it multiple times a year 😢 you're forever my inspo ❤
Yesterday my back went due to a devilpress during a group workout. And damn it really hurt! I LOVE working out and trying new different things and now I`ve realized just how important my physical health is to me. I lie in bed and often think about what next thing I want to try and especially now that I´m injured. But also what I´m longing for doing again when my back is good again. Thank you for sharing Lucy, makes me feel less alone about it all
Guuurl, your back during those pulls ups 😍 Can’t wait for you come back to running. Would have loved to see you running London. I’m sure you’ll come back stronger 💪🏻
Great video! Love the explanations in the workout. So sorry your injury is affecting you like this but you will ALWAYS be happier after the fact, that you prioritized your health and healing. :) I have a number of chronic illnesses and I get so sad when going through a flair and I can't work out but I always come back stronger (mentally) and with more determination!
Thanx girl ,you're a star 🌟, I just like to see what folks real workouts look like,it's great to see you doing all the other stuff but it's just not sustainable. Would like to see what you diet is like when you are marathon training
I'm a newer subscriber and wow. I absolutely loved and appreciated the breakdown of your workout and the exercises. Ps. that green/blue/teal color looks amazing on you!
Hey Lucy, your videos have given me so much confidence in the gym so thank you. Do you any advice for hip flexibility impacting squat form? I feel as though I can’t go low enough without my knees going over my toes because of my hips? Xx
I attempted the 4x4x48 last week as my first dip into an endurance challenge, failed halfway through with an injury… the outside of my foot was so painful! Felt so disheartening still not pain free! Stressing me out 🙄
You should create a t-shirt lucky that says you feels like I'm going to be sick 😂 everytime I see you on the ski machine or assault bike I know it's coming at the end 😂 you're smashing it though 👊🏼

Is the pain on the bottom of your foot or near the ankle? Maybe you were pronating strangely?
Haha! Always tap the can before opening!
