Real talk. Joey is an epic storyteller, but his stories aren't that far fetched. I grew up in Jersey and most of my friends' fathers were like Joey, same accent and stories and all.
Those people are sheltered,... I can relate and know people like whom he refers to,... even just the lil bit about UPS,... I got a relative that did the same bit for ups starting as a teen, jacked up on pcp, sorting packages,... now decades later,... runs his own shit for ups west coast.
I have a friend named angel that did alot of crazy shitt off coke reminds me a lot of diaz but way worst....Only thing is coke head Exaggerate or tell lies,i wouldnt be suprised if most these stories are exaggerated...Still entertaining
It's a crazy small world we live in. Just before a minute in he says he was living with the Runne's. I work with a guy who told me he grew up with Joey Diaz. He showed me pictures and everything of him and Joey.

Don't worry dog, Joey Diaz himself has said that those times in his life were terrible, no matter how great it was at times or how many funny stories came out of it. He was basically a full blown junkie and a criminal, no hate though I love Joey.

I was born and raised in Miami but I would always visit my God parents that live in north Bergen since the 70s till this day. Now I live in Arkansas like a half a fag I miss and love my second home new jersey.
My uncle owns a body shop in north jersey. One of the mechanics I’ve known my whole life said he grew up in north bergen and was a few years younger than joey. He confirmed joey was indeed a savage
I don’t miss them days!!!! It is great hearing Joey Diaz story’s. Stirring up them memories back into my brain. But remember the fun it was at the time.
HBO! You literally have a 100 episodes of PURE GOLD!!! The show would be called TREMENDOUS and Joey Diaz narrates his LIFE STORY! How is this not a show??!!!!???
Man listening to these stories are crazy, and although jersey is way way better and more gentrified, im glad i still got to have some classic Hudson county fun.
It’s crazy having grown up in Hudson County like Joey and played rec basketball against the schools he’s mentioning 😂😂 when he gives details like Tonnelle ave and St. Michael’s I know exactly where he’s talking about and it really paints the picture
He told a story one time about going to Monmouth County, NJ (where he actually lives now) and mentioned going to a house that was on the street I grew up on. It was crazy hearing him say that ha
Yo that spot on 178th was too early for my time but I remember being little and my pops and uncle's talking about it around the kitchen table but they said that it was always FIRE!¡¡!
I love his stories I grew up between Amsterdam and Broadway right on Hamilton place. I always imagined what life was like in the 80’s and 70’s cause all the old people always talked of that era. Joey Diaz lived a fucking wild life lol.
I like this chick. She lets Joey talk, no annoying "OMGEES, WOOOOOW, SHUT UUUUP's" after every sentence and seems not so stupid than most other women in Joeys podcasts
I’m from Long Island. So our spots were on the Lower East Side. Around 1st and 14th. There were code words for the different “brands” of blow they had.
There's something about joeys way of storytelling that really makes me all wrapped up in it!! I swear I could listen to him all day everyday!!!
