I stand corrected. After some discussion on Reddit with Wilba, the mounting style in the Thermal is indeed a leaf spring mount and not a “gasket mount with isolated flex cut plate”.
I guess you had to delete my reply to your comment when I pointed out about the same logic from Salvation.

Super informative vid! Typing this comment on a black Thermal, I can attest to the quiet sound signature without loud, harsh switches lol. Wilba totally nailed the design of the board though and I find myself surprised at how amazing it looks even after months of daily driving it.
I thought the same too. If anything, its looks makes the Thermal a keeper!
so well is a sandwitch keyboard, where the alu plate reach end end of the grill case mimiquing sort kind of pc cooler rack, bit longer for what it is, out of it, sounds good and the aesthetic is kinda retro with those color and polished charmers, i do like it!

Really? Of all things you want to take offence to this? Then call it WILBA TECH X RAMA WORKS THERMAL. I understand the community wishes for RAMA to be wiped off the surface of the earth but this statement here is as if I'M choosing to call it that. RAMA is tied to SEQ1 and SEQ2 however much you hate it.

@@benfromsg "Of all things" Yes. Because it only makes sense to refer to the board by its rightful name especially when doing a review. Doesn't matter if its tied to RAMA but at least call it the correct name when referring to it.
The problem is RAMA is getting too much credit for boards he did not even design such as the wilba.tech THERMAL, Jules (by Zambumon), and Zenith (by ION keyboards) when in fact these boards are designed by people other than RAMA.
RAMA is essentially just the vendor. I think it's only fair to give credit to the designers themselves when referring to the boards be it written or verbal. When you say iPhone is great for example, you're giving credit to Apple because they designed it and not the manufacturing company they hired or the vendor that sells it. It's similar to this instance.

You don’t call Singa boards like Kohaku/Unikorn Elaine Kohaku and Elaine Unikorn do you? You just take offense because it’s RAMA and not a reputable “vendor” if you so wish to call SingaKBD. So like I said, the masses are just trying to wipe the name RAMA off the surface of earth and being salty about petty things like nomenclature “of all things”. There’s other things to be genuinely upset about like people’s order not being fulfilled and money not being refunded. They care less about naming than having their orders fulfilled. People like you are just plain salty. Rightly so, but still, don’t sugar coat your words as non-hateful speech.
