    Just a note. While this worked for the driver side on my 2010 ram 2500 with these folding mirrors, the passenger side spot mirror reflective surface was not removable. The reflective surface broke doing this and I found out after popping out the plastic reflective that the only way mine could ever have been assembled was to attach the spot piece to the whole mirror via a screw, then Adhere the spot reflective surface over that screw. It did not have anything like the snap rings like you describe or like was on the driver’s side. Just a note that not all are like this. Odd that one side was and one was not.

    Hi, I think we can change tow mirror same way- without opening up screws and door panel from inside- right ??

    • @larrywarren1049
      @larrywarren1049 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The whole assembly arm is connected where door panel n dash meet so panel does need to come off

    thank you for this vid. I did the change on the passenger mirror and now my drivers side needs changed. EcXEPT it has the temp sensor in it..............do I need a special light???

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The temp sensor is mounted underneath so it won’t affect the install. I don’t know what light you mean.

      @@FABAutomotiveDetailing sorry I didnt make that clear to you. I talking about the turn signal light on the drivers side. It has the temperature sensor in it. I was just wanting to know if I still just buy the standard light when I change it out.

      @@mikel.laughridge9480 The temp sensor should be in the bottom mounted on its own. You shouldn’t need a special light.
