Hello i have question who is the best shos for walking New Balance 1080V12 or V13
The stability/wobble of v13 is a deal-breaker for me... (running, jogging and walking). In the end, I use mine for treadmill...

I just did a back to back in-store comparison of the More v4 and 1080 v13, thinking I originally wanted to buy the 1080s based on the many reviews I've watched. I walked out of the store with the More v4. The 1080s feel very squishy in the foam directly under foot, like the balls of my feet would sink directly into the shoe. The More v4 felt firmer in the uppermost foam, but the felt bouncier where it comes into contact with the ground and my feet felt like they were supported better.
Exactly how I feel about both of them. I prefer the V4s.

Definitely. The combination of the firmer foam and the wider outsole actually add a decent amount of stability.
Which one has MORE volume in the toe box WIDTH AND which has more volume in the HEIGHT of the toe box?
More V4 is much roomier in the toe box
Why didn't you try running with both shoes at the same time

I got my 1080v13 coming in 2 days! Super pumped. I didn't really care for my more V because of the firmness. So you broke this video down really well. Also, best part of the video "I don't have one of those scale things" 😂😂 hilarious. Anyways. You are cool. Wish I watched this before I bought the firm version because my fat ass is all about that bounce

Really a very good review my friend! I weigh 95 kilos (height 1.90), that's why I'm going to buy the more v4, I wonder what would happen if I used a shoe like, for example, the adidas adizero adios pro 3, weighing 95 kilos?
Thanks! I haven’t run in the adios pro 3, but I do know it’s adidas’ main racing shoe, so it’s going to be a lot different than the More v4. It has carbon fiber rods and is super lightweight. I’d probably only recommend it for racing.
Are the shoes suitable for people with low arches?
I'd say the More V4 is better for low arches

Which shoe is more comfortable for walking?
Depends on if you prefer a softer (1080) or a firmer (v4) shoe. I prefer the 1080 because because the v4 has a curved “rocker” shape that makes them a little odd to walk in.

Have you ever tried the New Balance 880? that's the shoe I use most of the time. It's not a max cushion shoe but it's not a thin cushion shoe either.
I haven’t, but I’ve heard it’s similar to a Pegasus, which I enjoyed a few years ago
I got a half size bigger than all my other NB shoes. It is near perfect for me, the best in comfort, bounce, cushion, height (better than Morev3 and v4 except for one thing... the stability of toe box, slight tendency to roll outward. By the way I liked the 1080v11 but not the 1080v12.

Had my first run with my 1080 v13s today and you’re definitely right. Loved the bounce and cushioning but felt like my toes were sliding a bit during ground impact. Its a minor detail though.
1080v11 is probably the best pair of the class. The foam isn't as soft and gave me more of a push forward compared to all the newer models. I love the design on the 11s also.
New Balance's sizing is such a mess! Fuel cell shoes tend to fit me true to size in my normal running shoe size, but for Fresh foam x I usually need half a size down...

I usually drink Nespresso Intenso pods before my run (for speed) and a nice dark roast after (for taste). Currently trying a bean from a coffee shop in Clawson (Sabbath Roasters)
My first shoe with the current trend of "super foam" was More V3. I have a bad knee from decades of Tennis and the V3 allowed me to run more than 3km without issues. Bought More V4 without second thought because of the rocker and cush, had I known about 1080 V14 it would have been a flip of the coin because I want the springiness but also want the rocker. Seems like the Balos is if the 1080 and More had a baby, so I'm looking forward to your thoughts when you get them

The more v5 will have the same gen fresh foam x new formulation with the 1080 v13. Hope you revisit this comparison when you got the more v5. Compare with 1080 v13 and also more v4
Yeah I saw that mentioned at The Running Event. My hope is the width of the v5 adds some stability, but I’ll definitely do a direct comparison video with those three shoes
The More v4 is firm? I don't feel that.
New Balance updated the foam in the 1080 v13 (and More V5) to be softer. I noticed it right away, but everyone has a different stride/experience

I did not like my 1080 v13 that much as I thought I would like them and my old v11. It is a super comfortable shoes for walking, but for my needs, it is too wobbly and quite unstable in the half back part of the middlesole. For running , these shoes are sapping away my energy every step why my feet are trying to find out how to deal with this kind instability of the middlesole. Those ( Gel-Nimbus 25, Invincible 3, Infinity Run 4 or Wave Sky 7) max stack cushioning shoes are much more stable to me ... for this comparison, I will also much prefer the More v4 over the 1080 v13 .
I'm starting to be afraid of what to come from shoes brands in 2024 ,if the new trend is to make every cushioning shoes like these 1080 v13 .
Yep, I felt the same thing. The cushioning almost makes my feet feel more tired, even for walking in them.
