I am obese and getting back into shape with walking. I am also 37 years old so the chances of injury are more at my age compared to when I was 20. With the Black Friday sales I got the NB 1080v12 and the Fresh Foam More v4 and the Asics Gel Nimbus 25 The Fresh Foam More v4 are the most comfortable in my opinion. The 1080v12 (I don't have the v13) are still comfortable but not as much as the Fresh Foam More v4s. However I got them in a black color and I can wear them casually. And they are much more comfortable than casual sneakers. The Asics Gel Nimbus 25 is comfortable and springy. However they are not optimal for just walking. They are very comfortable but they are more supportive at the front foot and if you pick up the pace a bit you see where they shine. If you are an overweight/obese person and want to get back into shape by walking an want to spare your joints and ligaments I can not recommend the Fresh Foam v4s More (see what I did there lol)
When you buy top of the line models they will all be good but still different. As I was buying them with a very good Black Friday discount and I had the option to return them I ordered the 3 pairs. I like all 3 and I will be keeping them. Online revews like yours are very helpful. I did watch quite a few before choosing what to order. I know how overwhelming sneaker shopping can be. And if you are going for a top of the line model - the price is serious (especially in this economy) So I hope my comment can help someone who is in the analysis paralysis stage. I did have the Fresh Foam More v3s which are still good but the Fresh Foam More v4s are considerably better! In another league! If someone decides to pay full price - go to a store and try them out. Audi, BMW and Mercedes are all good brands, similarly priced but it depends which one you like. So test them just like sneakers. If you are getting a good discount online an have the option to return use that if you want. @@run-are
Iam 270 pounds v4 are the best for me i have a knee problem sometimes too it hurts but i can do 2 miles every day trying to lose weight its been 2 months lost 20 pounds i been intermediate fasting too and consuming more vegetables and salad 🥗
Good review but I sort of disagree with some of the comments on the Sink-in feel of the More V4 when talking about the area in the heel that is hollowed out. Perhaps since I am not a heel striker I don't notice that and feel like I can pick up the pace fine in them. I do think I will try the new 1080s though. My last try of the 1080 was 2 versions ago and they were comfortable but not enough forefoot cushion for my knees unless I was running hills. The new ones have much more forefoot cushion so I will give them a go.
@@run-are Right now, my first choice is the Deviate Nitro 2. Despite the supposed 37/31mm stack height, it feels very grounded and really disappears on foot. I'd use that shoe for any run.
@@kuriosites That's a great shoe! I really enjoyed testing it and it was one of the best total scores I have ever given. How many miles have you got in them and how are they holding up?
@@run-are@run-are I have about 420 miles as of this morning. The outsole has significant wear where I toe off and some on the heel but nowhere near going through that PumaGrip. The upper and midsole are holding up great. I wouldn't be surprised if I get 600+ on these. I'd buy them again.
Hii everyone! Anyone can help me what type of saucony fit to me I will use it just for long walking maybe 2 hours, and i have flat foot What type i must buy? 1080v13 or more v4?
These are New Balance shoes, both will be ok for walking but both are very soft. If you want something a little firmer check out the New Balance 880. The Saucony shoes will feel a little firmer as well. Check out the Saucony Ride and Triumph. All these are neutral shoes, if you need support it is best to go into your local running shoe store and talk about which shoe will provide the right amount of support you require.
Yes that's a big difference between the shoes, 1080 much more nimble... But the Nimbus 25 is also such a great shoe. If you love the Nimbus 25 it may be wise to get another pair if they are cheap... The Nimbus 26 doesn't look that appealing and loses the things I love in the 25.
@@i.p2088 in the first half of next year I believe, I don't have any specs but I have seen the pictures, it looks like it's a little slimed down, the midsole looks very similar to the Cumulus/GT and seems they have toned down the rocker 😔
You get a pair in hand. Remove one shoe from the box, it really doesn't matter if it's the right or left, either one will work. After undoing the laces, slide the corresponding foot into the shoe, toes first, and then gently work your foot into the shoe until you are able to slide your heel into place inside the back of the shoe. Now at this time you want to, kind of, wiggle your leg and foot around while pressing the shoe against the floor to ensure your foot is seated properly and comfortably inside the shoe. Once that all is complete, bend down on one knee or preferably sit on something (a chair would work great here) and then bend at the waste grabbing an end of the shoelace in the shoe in each hand and then tie the shoes to secure them to your foot in the way you find most comfortable (The classic bunny ears option works great right here but you could opt for the rabbit going around his hole before entering technique, again either is fine, both work just as well as the other). Once all those steps are done then you can walk, jump, do short sprints, and any other type of movement you can think of to see if they fit OK. You also might want to locate a mirror that is low to the ground so you can look to see how they will actually look on your feet while you are wearing them but that is optional. And that's all there is to it. Easy peezy. Nothing to be afraid of. So glad I could help. Let me know if you have any questions and I will do my best to help in any way I can. Good day. 😉

Is the v13 just a More 3 w/ a higher stack height of 2mm??

How about FuelCell Walker Elite

These More V4 running shoes lasted only 6 months until the upper tissue teared close to the front sole. Don't advise it.
