There is a bleed screw on the side of the pump. Unscrew it a little until you see oil. Then it full of oil. The pump suck the oil through its not fed by gravity. The pump is powerful enough to collapse the storage tank.
another person besides myself who actually breaks in an engine on mineral oil! cool video theres a shortage of smart mechanics and an abundance of idiots on youtube. just subbed :)
Did you have to bleed the pump to tank line? I’m just putting mine together but I didn’t see the pump suck in oil from the tank when I started the bike.
I am wary of using semi synth for running in but the last owner filled the tank with Silkoline semi synth. I notice that it is noticeably thinner than mineral. It makes me wary to use it for running in.
@@TroyaE117 i would never run a bike without replacing the 2t oil as it could be contaminated. Drain the whole system then use your choice of oil. I prefer mineral to run a new engine in as the semi and full synthetic is too protective and the internals need to wear in together. Hope this helps
@@peterholmes2067 it looks like the Silkoline semi has been discontinued, or at best is becoming hard to find. The Comma and Castrol semi synths are thinner and they make me very. I plan to run in for the first 1000 miles. I trust that os enough?

Can I run-in a GT750 with semi synth. Taking the pill lines out of a rebuilt engine is a bot drastic.
Choice of oil is personal. Yes you can run semi synthetic. Dont understand your other query?
