I dehydrate all sorts of frozen vegis for Winter soups! I make a mix of them and store them in a large jar to add to soups and stews all winter. It's so handy! You can also dehydrate frozen potatoes. Just rehydrate and fry as normal. Dehydrated tomatoes taste like candy! I like to slice them, put them on the dehydrator rack, sprinkle with Italian Seasoning and then dehydrate them. Amazing in sauces and on pizza! And you are correct, freezers go out. Dehydrating ensures they stay fresh and take up so much less room. It's why I can store bought hamburger and sausage. Stay safe out there! Stay vigilant, stay aware, and keep adding to your pantries! Much love from across the pond!
Just want to say thanks and hello from Indiana. In the crazy United States! I started prepping when Covid hit and we woke up to the worldwide insanity. Hope all of you make it thru when the SHTF. Prep and pray.
Hello from Tennessee!! I’m also dehydrating everything I can, including frozen hash browns and O’Brien potatoes. I also love to dehydrate mushrooms! Love your haul! You did great!
BTW, I would kill for a can of Corned Beed at $2.29 (1.90 there)!! Our nearest Walmart has them for $3.54, which is 2.94 there. And those canned potatoes! Holy moly those are a steal!
I've been super lucky then because I have been able to buy tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. Very grateful for that! You should check out Morrisons Savers Instant Mash. 28p for 120g. It only made up of 99% potato flakes and rosemary. Not so many ingredients. Simple whole food.
Idahoan mash is lovely. I use it often. Great all round but I use it mainly for cottage pies I can never get the pineapple pieces - always sold out I’ll give the chilli con carne a go The frozen lasagne is lovely Try the tinned potatoes in an air fryer if you have one. Taste amazing Their chicken in white sauce in a tin is great for making pies Asda is also great with their Rewards card/app and if you have the Blue Light card you can save even more
Wow Tilly, that's a Fantastic haul, & what a bargain shop.🤗 Glad you got some Idahoan mash too. Well done. 👍 I got a big Asda order Friday, & completely forgot Chilli con carne. I dehydrate frozen Onions too, fresh ones pong whiff up the house for days. Lol. TFS Tilly, take care & keep really busy everyone. ❤️🙂🐶
Hi good morning hope you are well and having a good day just looking at Asda essentials too put my order in and I was shocked at how much essentials have gone up soup 23p. No 45p barges £1.60p now £1.90p there is a lot of stuff gone up enjoy your day
Frozen mixed vegs are one of my favorite easiest things to dehydrate. I have dehydrated many onions and one son comes in and complains of the odor, but it doesn't last! Onions do freezer burn and do not last forever, plus, yes, freezer space and not relying on electricity is definitely a plus, plus, it will be easier to share, if need be. I am still overcome by the differences in prices there. I am not sure what 'soft cheese' is in containers like that, if it is not cream cheese. Vanilla extract is so expensive here. Lovely haul! I wish we had ASDA stores.
What kind of frozen fish is in the boxes please? I'm only used to cod or haddock. I've had a shock on how much Battered/breaded cod and haddock costs now. At those lower prices I should take a gamble and start trying them to see if I like them.
Hi Tilly I just wanted to thank you for all your videos. I love them all. I have a question I noticed in this video that have order more than 3 items of the item (baked bean's) looking forward to lots more videos Bye Tilly from Sue
Hi Sue, 👋 thank you so much! Asda stopped the limit of 3 items quite a while ago now, which is really handy because often 3 of certain items wasn't enough for all the people in our household.
Hello Tilly 👋 how are you and your family keeping? Hope you are all well , well what a good amount of shopping for the money that's what I call a bargain. Take care of yourself sending love and prayers to you all 🙏 God bless.
Great haul! Have ASDA lifted their limit of three items max per essential range now? Idohoan mash is really good, especially the garlic one. (If you’re going past Poundland, ibuprofen and paracetamol are three boxes of 16 for £1, which would be another little saving) 😊
Great haul. What I don't get is the chicken and vegetable soups are cheaper than the tomato ones. It looks like the fish has gone down in price as well.
It does seem strange that the prices vary so much with the soups... The fish is the same price as it was in October, but the prices do seem to fluctuate a bit.
On the news tonight, the farmers were saying it has been far too dry here for their crops, this particular farmer was talking about his crop of leeks being really small.
I am constantly amazed at how low British food prices are. That haul would have cost double what you paid here in the US. Just amazing.
They are excellent prices that's for sure... We are very fortunate to still be able to find groceries at these prices! 😃
im in the UK and considering the US is so large youd think the food prices would be cheaper because you could grow more???strange eh, take care❤

Hello Kaye, 👋 Dehydrating things is a bit addictive isn't it!! 😂
@@rootofavalon3841 it is! I feel satisfied when I see the full jars!
This is the best haul I have ever seen for this price! Great job Tilly!
The Asda Essentials prices are really good to start with, but a £15 discount on top of that was just too good to miss! 😃❤️
Wow that's a great shop Tilly and with the £15.00 voucher too! Love the Asda corned beef and I'm trying the instant potato xx
I know, I was so pleased when I got the email with the voucher code, that's such a great saving! 😃❤️ xx
Supermarkets where I live don’t seem to have any shortages. The Idahoan mash is lovely x
That is a lot of food for the price. Much better than here in the US. You did a great job. 🙂
Great Haul, come to The US, our food prices are insane.
BTW, I would kill for a can of Corned Beed at $2.29 (1.90 there)!! Our nearest Walmart has them for $3.54, which is 2.94 there.

I had instant mash with my dinner tonight.
It is good the instant mash. We have it in The US.
Excellent haul, Tilly! 👍 Very wise to get those onions & veg. 🎉
Thanks Tina! 😃❤️

Awesome haul, everything here in the US seems to be more expensive. I sure would love to try those curly fries. Thanks for the advise!!!💕💕💕
Thank you Catherine, and yes our prices are rising, but they are still a lot cheaper than you guys have in the US so we are very fortunate! ❤️💕❤️

There was so much there for £66 wasn't there! 👏👏 ❤️💕
@@rootofavalon3841 Yep, there certainly was a lot there.👍 Take care Tilly. ❤️🙂🐶
Flippin' 'eck Tilly, wish Asda would send me a £15 voucher!! You shopped well there, love a bargain too🥰
If you're signed up with them keep your eye on your emails, you never know!! 😃❤️
I did same with Acado 60 with 20 off = £40 all preps
Oh that was a great saving Sue!! 😃

Hi Adrian, WOW that's some big price rises, thank you very much for the heads up! Have a great day!
I use the asda tinned mushrooms not seen them anywhere else great for stews and soups 👍far more economical than fresh .
Lidl sell them as well
Yea the tinned mushrooms are handy to have in, and as Jo mentioned, they also sell them in Lidl, which are also a good price

Lovely haul! I wish we had ASDA stores.
I believe the the soft cheese is not allowed to be called cream cheese because it doesn't contain any actual cream.
@@rootofavalon3841 Oh, Tilly, now I will have to do some research!
What kind of frozen fish is in the boxes please? I'm only used to cod or haddock. I've had a shock on how much Battered/breaded cod and haddock costs now. At those lower prices I should take a gamble and start trying them to see if I like them.
It's formed Alaska pollock Tanya, a lot of the cheaper branded fish like these use pollock as it's more readily available.
Hi love I e never seen soo many tinns in a food shop it would cost the same to make it and much healthier
Hi Tilly I just wanted to thank you for all your videos. I love them all.

Hello Diana, 👋 We are doing ok thank you, I'm sure the prayers are working, so thank you so much for your kindness! Lots of love and God bless. 🙏
The tins are so thin you only have to stack it and the bottom has dented, ❤

Yes, they stopped that limit quite a while ago now. Oh I'll look out for the Poundland meds, that's a good price, thanks for that! 😃

I am in the canaries at the moment and they say it has been a very bad winter here.
On the news tonight, the farmers were saying it has been far too dry here for their crops, this particular farmer was talking about his crop of leeks being really small.
Asda breaded white fish, you may aswell throw them in the bin an save the cost of cooking them unless you've got no taste buds 😂
Love this is going Asda far my cheap food
Asda is great for getting some bargains!
@@rootofavalon3841 yes too right
