I see that many of your groceries are now gaining on our prices. The quiches look incredible! But I cannot get over how inexpensive your white chocolate is! The turmeric is incredible for the price. I only order herbs and spices online in bulk because of the price of the grocery store jars. OMG, the low price of your figs and dates! They would be 4X the price here. Our grocery store cards give us money off of gas(petrol) at their pumps, and lots of special offers. Do you realize that we pay $2.49 for 2 lbs of carrots, which adds up to about 2.10 GBP per kilo? Our package of plums (about 9) are on sale(offer) for 3.05g GBP, reg.3.81 GBP, (and mind you, they are 'in season'.) The fruit bread is about 4.58 GBP,I kid you not. I also make a lot of babana-walnut loaves.4.58 GBP a kilo is fantastic!
Our prices are certainly creeping up that's for sure, but oh boy some of your prices are crazy high... I'm so sorry you're having to pay such crazy prices!!

Those are 2 great hauls Tilly. 👍 I get those Spices from the Tesco World Isle too, and Morrisons also has them. Recently I've been going to a New shop near me, called Grape Tree, they have great prices on Nuts, dried Fruits, Seeds, Herbs & Spices. I,v just come back from Lidls doing my monthly shop... Previously I tried that Maasdam cheese slices (they are ok) but this time I got Valley Spire extra mature cheddar 400g £2.85 in my book its better tasting and less leathery... Another one those walker crisp ,,I buy Lidls Snaktastics(texas BBQ) same as pringles only cheaper£1.55,they are so nice sometimes I open and eat the lot in one go.. But in my book ,,,bargin of the week was W5 dishwasher tablets 50 tab for £2.49,,, compared the the Finish brand about half the price,,even in Home bargins they sell all Finish products and are a rip off price.. Yeah me too got the Basa fillits I bought 2 Lemon herbs yummy.... cheers Phil oh yeah I got that coffee too
Hi Phil, oh I'll have to try the Spire cheese, we like extra mature! We do sometimes buy the Snaktastic (like Pringles) they are lovely... but yes, difficult not to eat them all! 😳😃 Those dishwasher tabs are a great price, but I haven't been using our dishwasher since energy prices went up... I'll certainly be buying them in the future though so thanks for all the great info. 😃
