So all I need is a air compressor with a blow gun, some automotive picks, a 5 gallon Home Depot bucket, 1/2 gallon of water, take the gun apart and clean 4 different clog points, then drag it out to the yard spray it and I should be good to go.
you can spray water based and latex paint over oil primer. thats how you seal wood cabinets for paint...now water based over oil paint is a different story
@@GMONEY-xl5gudepends on the type of work you wanna do with it and how often. i wouldn’t reccomend these if you’re doing a large project or plan on painting for a living, i’d reccomend starting with a small 210 graco it’s the best intro pump to airless guns. that being said it is my personal opinion i know guys who swear by these handhelds i’ve never had luck with any generation of them though
LOL oh my God this guy is ridiculous!! Lol. when you finish and ready to clean the gun get a fresh liner fill it full of clean water prime and pump the clean water through the the gun that will in turn clean the internals of the equipment and the spray tip at the same time. After spraying the clean water through until system is clean then use the pump armor to store equipment until next use.
Thanks for the video good to learn new things. BTW, Nice maintaining your Graco.
Haha, that's exactly why I watched your video, been about 6 months since I last used mine, thanks 😎⚒️😎⚒️😎

Yeah I’ve been in the painting industry for over 20 years and we have always used oil based undercoat and used Acrylic and oil as finish coats
You know Acrylic and latex are not the same, right? @@EDskywalker9966
So would you guys recommend this gun ???

Step 1) toss it in the garbage.
The newer models are much better, especially the quickshot.
@AlexKunstar - QuickShot at $1,459 TrueCoat at $211….. I’ll pocket the $1,248 and put up with cleaning….
@elbowjoe361 I got mine on ebay for 300bucks.. I would never in a million years pay sticker price on them.
