I didn't even know this existed. Thank you for showing it to us. This is literally the same as the handheld that Graco has, at like $1200, but it only works on the Dewalt batteries. This changes that. You're not paying for the "Drill" to run it, and restricted to the Dewalt system. This way, even someone with ANY battery drills can get the same Graco quality! Awesome.
im just wandering if i'll be able to rig it to my cord drill?? if there's a way, ima find it lol i realy should finally get a cordless drill. im still stuck in the late 90's, when battery opperated hand tools just came out and the batteries sucked. i haven't owned one since. just knew the power is always there with corded tools. i might be blown away now with battery hand tools. that would be nice not messing with 50 or 100 foot cords so often lol.. i got umm... gosh, i think 2 50s. 2 100s and i can't can't how many rigged up cords stationary though out my property. i didn't realize just how relectrified i made my out doors here until now lol... i got a plug in point satup f'ing every where LOL oh and it was the high cost of battery stuff that i never looked back at either. but its all much better and cheaper now days. hm... i need to catch up to time abit. nods :)
@@azpropertydoctors1000 I have that one as well (ultra max or whichever is rated for flammable product) It is WAY overpriced. The pump is a delicate unit and a pain since it isn't able to be rebuilt. While it is handy I haven't been super impressed. This drill unit seems to be a better choice as the whole unit cost less than a replacement pump for the ultramax (or whatever the exact name is)
Hey man thanks for this. I'ma go out and get one! What an excellent idea! As for over spray, a small grocery vegetable bag as a cover could work or wiping the drill with WD40, Armour All or Vaseline will keep over spray from sticking!
As a completely painting-useless homeowner, this is awesome. My wife loves painting, I hate it because of the tedious before and after (prep and cleanup), so for small things, I've always used spray cans. This is well worth the price seeing as how reasonably-priced spray paint is now a thing old grandpaws talk about from "back in my day", and young people believe never existed. We've actually dropped auto paint at the auto parts store where I work because of the ridicule-inducing prices. Ya' know...peoplegreed screws up everything.
Wow! Looks like a potential great product! I have a 100 gallon compressor and pro paint sprayers but this for the smaller stuff is genius! (Real nice like! 😂) Thanks again for the demo!
Looks fantastic…especially for projects in the middle of nowhere…..if this thing can shoot some Rust-Oleum paint for rust prevention or some primer etc it will sell to a lot of small business owners….no need of anything that pretty much anyone will have a drill ready to use or sacrifice for those projects that are hard to be accomplished without special equipment….I can paint a fence far away from anything for example.
That pump is rated for 20 hr. use . And then you have to replace pump I paid over $600 for the 20volt Graco version replaced three pumps already do not recommend that sprayer to anyone. It is not a good product. No amount of cleaning will save that pump. Garbage !!!
How can there be a pump failure. When the drill is acting as the mechanics of this tool. I'm assuming it's just spinning and impeller to draw up fluid/paint. I think it may be great. I stain a lot of decks. For huge decks I use my airless. This would be great for the pickets which are a pain to do on condos with small decks close together. The Graco electric portable is nice but have to deal with cords. This may be worth giving a shot. Graco makes great products so should do a quality job. This yinzers likes it. 💪

This is huge. I saw this the other day on Graco's TH-cam channel. Why Graco? It's does the best atomization of your finish for these types of jobs (meaning smaller spray mist, leading to much better looking finish and easier to work with in between coats). And at this price point, there's pretty much nothing that can beat it (not an affiliate). I have a Graco HVLP sprayer, call me biased, but it's great equipment. I'll be picking one of these up. Thanks Clint for the how-to.
Pretty cool tool! I am going to put it on my list of items I need for the garage to tackle projects. Upside down?!?! You have got to be kidding me. That is awesome!
Hi, thanks for the video. I saw saw that U spray upside down as gavity , if saw , can I use it as gavity instead of buying the gravity cap as it doesn't come in AU in the box?
I"ve used regular 360 to paint the interior of my house, so unless the output is weaker, you could probably paint a whole house with it. It'll take a bit longer because of the cup size, but doable.
It's a great idea, however the price doesn't make sense. this version is $189, or for $165 you can get the one that doesn't need your drill attached, but runs off a cord. Now the true cordless one that took a Dewalt battery is $650+ so it would be a good option to get the cordless for a lot less money (that's the one I wanted to buy, until I seen the price). Would be cool if someone made a video showing all the different models they offer, and why each one is worth the price. I might pick one of these up, for that cordless option. Would have thought this option would have been cheaper than the corded model, since they don't have to include any electronics.
I have the 20v Ultimate Graco and I haven't had a problem with the pump. However, the black cap on the lid I buy 3-6 at a time because they mess up easily for some reason and it almost seems like a broken pump. But that cap will mess you up idk why.
@matthewpiotrowski2677 it's a chemical that lubricates and protects the working components as well as removes most of the paint residue inside. You'll find it at the spray section at home depot or Sherwin Williams
I have cordless drills and batteries. I like the idea of this sprayer. My use would be spraying an oil based stain on my deck and fence. However, it doesn’t look like it’s durable enough or affordable enough. We would be looking at spraying around 10 to 12 gallons of stain with this thing.
It'll work but you still want to back brush the stain in so it absorbs properly into the grain just it will be lots of refilling. Depends on how much you want to spend for a sprayer and if you will use it again. Other option would be the graco X5. How massive is this deck?
Maybe for a sanding primer…even under trailers, campers or cars will work probably. Still looks fantastic for non finished jobs…. Imagine someone in the middle of nowhere to be able to paint his project without air, power etc…
Great question. Never used a homeright, but I disliked the one ot two Wagner sprayers that I had very much. That's why I was somewhat shocked with how well this worked and I never had great experience with the smaller types of units

Yes it works really well great.
If you over spray or you painted de wrong color you can just reverse the drill and the paint will go back to the can.

What was the failure mode? Did the piston seal fail and internally leak?
I had the same experience with the one I used.
Would not buy again.
The failure mode is irrelevant because you can't fix the pumps. You have to buy a while new pump for $200. It's such a bummer

We will see some cheepos out of China show up on Amazon in the next few months for sure. This is a $80 product at best.
The fact that you don’t have to thin the paint is a game changer
Do you think this would work for a house foundation or should I go with a n actual sprayer for that?
If the requires more than 2 gallons of paint I'd say it's a no go. It's really meant for small projects.
Great video! Does anyone know how the actual thing works. I wonder if it is a fan on the inside that turns when you press the drill button
