(EDIT #2) It's September 21st and I completed Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Thank you for joining me on this adventure! DLC here I come :D Playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLH8RxlfN7SU_BJzpE9S9ip_eT1k4rvZ4f.html (EDIT) Aight so.. I didn't think there would be so many people watching a vod LOL Thanks for watching this + my XC 1, 2 and Torna reactions! I stream live every day (except Thurs/Sun) on www.twitch.tv/stal at 10pm SGT (10am ET, 2pm GMT) so you can watch me cry there too :'D Timestamps: 0:00 - Stream start 10:45 - Chapter 1 4:56:43 - Chapter 2
I usually don't have time to catch livestreams, so these are great. Hope you enjoy/enjoyed the series! Looking forward to the next game from Monolith Soft.
@@SirJeal thank you so much!! i've been having a great time with Xenoblade :D a part of me is hoping that this game will take a long time to beat so this adventure will never end..
@@stalvods I paid 200 dollars for Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii when it first came out, because of how rare it was where I lived. I was in a really bad spot at the time, and the story resonated with me and helped me through what I'd been going through. Since then, this series has been one of my favorites. I'm always glad to watch others experience it as well! Stay well and enjoy the rest of your journey.
Noah is a Homs like Shulk, Eunie is a High Entia like Melia and Lanz is a Machina like Egil. Everyone in Agnus is a Blade, but more specifically Mio is a Gormotti, Sena is an Ardanian and Taion is a Leftherian.
The studio that dubbed this game was the same one that did the VA work for Elden Ring, Mio is voiced by the same VA as Ranni. Astrarion's VA from BG3 is also in this game.
Fun fact: You till havent heard the full drop of the unique monster theme. All boss themes are split inot 4 different segments, 3 of whihc loop based on different boss hp%.
Yeah, its such a good banger. For reference so you dont need to figure out the numbers mid game, for all unique,story, and moebius bosses theme: the diff loop segments are: 100-50%, 50-10%, 10-0%, and then the kill jingle you hear right after u kill them.
I can tell based on your thoughts on the other games, that you're going to love this one. This game is chalk full of references and call backs that you couldn't find them all, while being it's own unique thing at the same time. And I for one, am excited to see your reactions to this conclusion of the Xenoblade Chronicles story that spanned over three games.
when they said "colony 9" in the beginning i lost my shit LOL and that Keves is XC1's combat but Agnus is XC2's combat is dsfhjgksdfhgkfhsdk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also the area in chapter 2 looks like a mixture of gaur plains and gormott.. and kamos guidepost is there too!!
You probably already guessed from the first chapter, but this game is way more character driven than the previous games. I think you will grow to love the whole party, and if you do, the game is gonna hit very hard. The Xenoblade 3 party is easily my favorite 2nd favorite party in the series. I say 2nd favorite because I think the DLC was even better.
at the moment i really dislike Taion LOL but i believe he will get better.. hopefully.. right now i really like Eunie and want to know more about the flashback :D i have some thoughts about the alphabet (ABCDEXYZ whatever) people but i gotta meet them first ;_;
class exp is tied to the difference between your level and your enemies level. you gain significantly more class exp if you are the same level or a lower level then your opponent. so being over-leveled means you will receive less class exp from enemies (very annoying if you are a completionist like me).
I got across your twitch channel by chance and I really like your vibes! So I'm in for this whole ride, this is my #1 JRPG and I can't wait to see your reactions about all the game has to offer. And yes, Taion is an ass at the start but he will definitely get better, this is one of the few games when I love all the party members. And hopefully you play the DLC later too!
thank you so much for watching me on twitch!! i'm definitely playing the dlc once i'm done with base game. i'm strapped in for the full ride and i'm too invested to leave LOL
New flavour of Depression! Though I think You should Finish Future Connected before Starting Future Redeemed, at least. It's not the greatest Xeno Story or gameplay by any means, but it's also the shortest, about 10 to 20 hours depending on how much one slowruns it. Well, Future Redeemed is a Love Letter to Xeno as a Whole, so if you wanna catch all the little details, you want to know as much as possible on every Xeno game, including Xenoblade X, XenoGears, and XenoSaga I-III, even though it's not needed at all to understand Future Redeemed by any means BUT knowing at least some stuff is really cool. Like how the MC of FR looks like the protagonist of Gears, and even fights the exact same way he did with the same attack and idle animations. Future Redeemed is full of that kind of stuff. A LOT of Saga, too. But yeah keep Future Redeemed for last, that's the big conclusion to the numbered Xenoblade.
i'll try to play it if i have time! i was thinking about reading a summary or watching the cutscenes but not sure if it will have the same impact as playing it ;w;
@@stalvods At least I can guarantee no Depression in FC. 😅It way more light hearted, it helps recovering from 2 and Torna's Depression lmao I think it's the least interesting story in the series, BUT the hints to Xenoblade 3 are also visual and musical, there's a few references to catch in 3 and its DLC. So yeah, a summary wouldn't have the same impact indeed, not only for FC itself, but also for 3 and FR
@@stalvodsIf you do end up watching cutscenes I recommend watching a video of all the heart-to-hearts as well(or Quiet Moments as the game calls them). They're fully voiced and do a great job of offering up some closure for certain themes and topics.

Actuallyyyyy im not so sure Taions description is perfectly accurate

that's crazy i didn't know so many prominent VAs were in XC3. i love the English VAs so much, the accent is so iconic in Xenoblade games now :D
