What Rex says about "If they don't make it, someone else will" as long as they leave a legacy. It's exactly the same thing Rex tells Jin. When Jin asks him what will happen to Alrest when Rex is gone. It's wonderful how what Rex said was from the heart and that he was also right. That it was Mio who is his daughter along with the descendants of the city he helped form saved the world... It is truly poetic.

Thanks for playing my favourite series all the way to the end! I do agree that this ending doesn't hit as hard/tragically as Torna, but I agree this is more of a love letter to the Xeno fans that stuck around for so long/fell in love with the series. After all the struggle the cast for 3 games have gone through, there is some hope. I do agree Nikol and Glimmer should've got a bit more time, but with the future shown I hope we see more of them again. Funny thing about the final boss is that you skipped a phase XD. There was a DPS check where Alpha was going to charge Monado Buster that would wipe out your party but you double spinning edged so hard you skipped it xD I started the series from all the way back from the Wii era, where a couple of us HAD to donate the game to get this and 2 other games localized for North America called Operation Rainfall. Did not regret it one bit. I am glad to see how far this game has gotten and how many others like yourself get to play and enjoy this game series I hold so close to me. I am glad the algorithm brought me to you. I have enjoyed your reactions to this and look forward to other RPGs and games you will be playing. Its awesome how you can show your emotions for these kind of games. If for SOME REASON, you run out of things to do in the main game, there is a roguelite mode in the arena in the main game and that secret fight unlocked from future redeemed (you get 2 certain heroes for beating it) Well that we are in the endless waiting room for the next Xeno game (maybe Z was onto something), I guess I will throw out what I went into after. I played Hollow Knight (and got stuck for a year in the extra content) and 13 Sentinels (visual novel RPG). I cannot recommend both of these enough, though if you don't like dark creepy places I wouldn't recommend Hollow Knight. If you have access to the 3DS, I would try the older Fire emblem games like Awakening and Shadows of Valentia, which are more tactics based, and Radiant Historia (OG and remake both have their charms). The Megaman Battle Network series I would also recommend. It is a surprisingly fun RPG, though I would recommend the third game as the first two games can be a bit...outdated (there's two versions similar to how pokemon has 2 main games per gen). Thanks again for experiencing this wild ride, this passage of fate. Now I gotta go boot up XC2 again cuz you just reminded me I have NOT finished the extra content for XC2....THANKS xD

I am super glad you managed to finish the game Stal and welcome to the Xenoblade 4 waiting room if it is going to be called that XD LMAO but yeah also been playing Echoes of Wisdom as off late thought you might want to know it's highly recommended you give it a try at least the game is fun and everything i just beat it like yesterday if you do pick it up i am not giving out any spoilers cause my echoes of wisdom is 100% done so i hope you pick it up stal and also you are going to love FF( it's my fave FF game behind FF10 and such others games for FF are meh but i might pick u and play FF12 Zodiac for switch at some point to try only thing i want is FF Tactics like the one for DS where you play as Van and such such i kinda want that Hopefully you enjoy FF9 once you play it looking forward to the stream on monday and you deserve a rest after playing these and giving us content Stal you look like you need a break from Xenoblade for a while before you start Xenoblade X.

Xenosaga-fanboys will say that the radio is about Xenosaga, but I'm convinced it's actually more about Xenoblade X ^^ Anyway, well done finishing the games!

So, do you remember that when people interlink they get to see glimpses of their interlink partner’s strongest memories? Nikol and Glimmer interlinked with Shulk and Rex. They almost certainly knew who Shulk and Rex were to them when had to say goodbye. Have fun with that piece of information :’)

Love these games and your streams, although I feel you were a little hard on Na'el. She was just a truama bean who, ya know, had a *child* she loved die *in her arms.* No wonder she fell for Alpha's flattery and empty promises. The radio was basically a reference machine referencing X and Gears while basically connecting Xenoblade to Saga, and there are rumors of Saga remakes happening, so if they do, it'd be a good idea to play them. One thing I love that FC adds to the main game, context wise, is that it reveals that by the end of 3, Noah is literally a mini Trinity Processor. He has Pneuma's Crystal in his gauntlet, when N and Noah fuse N's sword, which is Logos, probably fuses with his since it dissappears and Noah gains a new Lucky Seven art, and Fiora, being a previous weider of an Ontos Monado and a host to Meyneth, has pseudo-Ontos powers in Aionios. A great way to cap of the Klaus Trilogy by having the final MC become a mini Trinity Processor, *chef's kiss.*

thank you stal for sticking through to the end! it's rare to find a streamer who's as comfy as you who also plays my favourite genre of games, let alone one who shares my nationality (sg gang?) and I can't wait for you to play other jrpgs as well. waiting for that trails playthrough hehe 👀 anyways I hope you enjoyed xenoblade, it's such an incredible ride from start to finish, and the entire series really encapsulates exactly why I love jrpgs so much. that feeling you get after you finish a game, where you just sit there and go "man." honestly an unmatched feeling. can't wait for future streams!!

i couldnt agree more with what you said and now wrote about the series. kinda funny how i first disliked xb1 and even 2 for a long time.... and also disliked rex for a long time in 2 but now it def became my fav one never thought it could happen even after all those years that a jrpg series could dethrone my former fav one, but here we are. for the dlc. it was okay and funny and all that, but def completely different vibe yea, *life* until the end, i think, maybe, just maybe, torna set the bar for "emotional" dmg and crying rly high for me becouse it was so many times, simply way to real hmmm idk and some of the ending def was kinda predictable imo, which isnt ment in a to bad way or something, just that some of it i knew it would happen, only how exactly wasnt that clear until it happened imo. again, not a bad thing. just missed maybe some impactfull twists sadly i can only judge from watching your streams and rewatching the vods becouse i will never be able to play the games myself nowdays i feel like, i chose the wrong cosole back then when i had to decide which one to get i agree, i think replaying xb2 would be rly nice with all the knowlege now and yea becouse of the long breaks in between ( no blame or anything for that ! dont get me wrond here ! ) a lot of the memorie of 2 is kinda foggy in my boomer brain alrdy anyways, thank you once more, thanks to you i was at least able to experience the series by watching you playing it and chatting with you and chat about it def a personal highlight for me the chapter (xenoblade) might be closed for now, until we get part4 *copium* but i will def keep it saved as a wholesome, funny, painfull, desperge experience all else i think i wrote at the respective vods i think. def looking forward to watch you playing ff9 and chatting with you about it, becouse the last time i played this game was over 20 years ago, so a lot of it i forgor, tryed to replay it myself again but couldnt get into it (a me thing, so dont worry, it is a great game ! ) and ofc also looking foward to whatever "we" will play after that thanks for giving me the chance to experience all those games again too, and this time "together" with ppl

Thank you so much everyone for watching my Xenoblade playthroughs! I'll be playing FF9 next :D I've been re-uploading the VODs since it doesn't show under 'videos'. We're done with the trilogy and I am very empty inside! I'll likely be revisiting XC1/2 at a later date since I had a long break in between playing. Now my opinion on the DLC and thoughts about Xenoblade series as a whole.. it will be very long. As for future streams, I'll be playing FF9 for the first time on Monday :D I thought the DLC was pretty good! It definitely didn't hit as hard as Torna though but Future Redeemed is more hopeful whereas Torna is more heartbreaking. I was really sad we didn't really get to know more about Nikol and especially Glimmer so I didn't really feel a huge connection or anything towards them. I also wish we got to see more Matthew and A, and was also hoping they had a better farewell. I wanted to be attached to the characters so it would hit hard during the ending but unfortunately it didn't. The parts where I really cried were all from previous games especially Xenoblade 3. To be fair, introducing new characters in a DLC will definitely not be comparable to the base game or Shulk and Rex who had main games surrounding them so that's fine with me! My favourite part is 100% the exploration portion. I think they did this extremely well and the affinity scenes had a lot of references to XC1 and 2. I saw XC1 and 2 were like an introduction to new and veteran players, while Xenoblade 3 and Future Redeemed feels like a love letter to Xenoblade fans. I'm really glad I played the first two games before touching on XC3. My expectations for future JRPGs are extremely high now and Xenoblade will probably never be dethroned. With that being said, I want to revisit XC2 at some point. I took a very long break before playing the ending so my memory of 80% of the game is pretty fuzzy besides the main story. Also I finally know how to play the game now LOL. I might replay XC1 eventually and of course, XCX. As for Saga and Gears.. I will think about it. Overall I liked XC1: Fixed classes for characters (I don't really like thinking about things too much ahaha..), Melia my wife XC2: Combat specifically chain attack, characters, music, main story, exploration, towns/villages, Jin my husband XC3: Characters, combat, responsive AI, side quests!!, exploration especially in DLC, lots of QoL -- I started this series at a very difficult time in my life a year ago from now which was what resulted in the very long break. I picked up XC3 at a time where I decided to get my life together. I'm in a much better place now and I've completed the game, and something about all of that is very poetic. I haven't played a lot of JRPGs (Trails, Persona/SMT, Pokemon lol, Final Fantasy, list is very long) so if you're interested, please look forward to those. Hey stal, long time VOD watcher here. Thank you so so much for playing through this epic and wonderful series! It has truly been a blast getting to re-experience this story all over again. For the future, you've mentioned several times that Trails has been a series on your radar, and as someone who has played both of these series, it will absolutely fill that empty gaping void that Xenoblade has left. I eagerly await what comes next, and once again, thank you so much!

Actually funny enough X's origin story is actually kinda hard to say if it's legit or not, since it was told from the perspective of a character that's reciting what the government had told everybody in X, and that same government had lied with specific things before so it's entirely possible that the whole origin story of X is illegitimate context. I swear the people in chat saying it can't be X related never played X. And not to get into spoilers, but even specifics to event dates that don't match up with the radio scene in this game could also easily be changed if the narrative we listen to in the beginning of X is actually unironically fake news.

A little bit extra name entomology like the last time i commented, Matthew and Na'el apparently mean gift from god. As to why? Suffice to say the producers and writers like using the theming and imagery i guess, same reason as to with Noah and Origin being a Ark. Oh and you had mentioned a stream or so ago that you watched Ponyo which got me thinking bout Spirited Away and Chihiro and her name the witch gave to her Sen. Which reminded me of Moebius names, when J, M, N finally accepted to use their actual names they became less moebius and more then usual selves. Like accepting the name given to them by Z made them more monstrous and less human but rejecting it made them themselves.
