    Wished they showed it a bit better on the television. Why can't I get a view of the actual shot in its entirety instead of a close up on some guys face?

    I love archery, but saying that it's the best sport is ignorant. It's my favorite sport, but there is no sport that is the best.

    Why don't they hit bull's eyes all the time like what i saw in movies? If they are supposed to be the best? I also heard in history there are some great archers during war that can hit a target miles away with great precision under pressure. Are archers nowadays comparable with them?

      An arrow can't fly over 700m

      Eugene Kang that's why I asked. I'm not afraid of exposing myself for what I simply don't know and am curious about that.Why don't give me an explanation to help me educated myself?

    • @7legomaker7
      @7legomaker7 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Martin already has given an explanation. Arrows can't fly for miles. Those "facts" you've heard of were probably exaggerated.
      A 100 meters is a humongous distance for any archer and the fact that they can hit near the center is testimony to that fact. You can't expect them to hit a bulls-eye all the time.

      Eugene Kang Thank you.I didn't know much about archery before so this really helps. :)

      Actually,archer is a sport,but it seems like it doesn't make you tired.Archers are strong enough to aim the target very well,but some of us can't cause we need to practice more.By practicing a lot,it makes you very very tired.

      The correct definition: Archery is more than a sport.
