If you line up a ton of entrances, you can get a linear accelerator that goes much faster and takes less time to launch. It takes a LOT of power and resources though. Me and a friend lined up around 20 entrances and have a launcher that can take us from the oil biome to the desert in like 7 seconds. It goes so fast that the game doesn't have time to render the terrain, and if you jump off the platform immediately, you fall into the void.
Any amount of entrances above 13 will make you fly off the map, even corner to corner you still die, you must have them placed REALLY REALLY badly to get 20.
@@theendofthestart8179 True for airport style launchers, but if you run a tube (Subway style?) the whole path and catch the rider at the end you can use more entrances to go even faster. There is a 'game just breaks' limit as Josh (aka. Lets game it out) found but you can go insanely fast.
The golden times before the switch to server-client architecture where single player loading was super fast. Then they switched and loading was so bad you'd be constantly taking a minecart into the void. Thankfully they've improved it since. Felt like a hell of a downgrade at the time from being able to zip around like this video to have a 10mph speed limit before the game broke.
this seems like a super fun way to give a good tour around a large scale factory! as for transport, i have like 10 entrances lined up with a pipe pointing 45% in the air, and it launches me so high in the map that i land wherever i want with the jetpack

Yea my brother and me kinda develeoped a system that depending on where you enter the loop of entrances you exit in a diffrent tube, meaning we have 1 accelerator with 5 diffrent tubes to get everywhere across the map in a like half a minute
you get a speed boost when you exit a tube, so if you just go in circles you speed up until the game can’t handle it and you get launched out, this type of placement has it so i get launched into a different tube directed to wherever i want it to be sorry for bad english i’m tired rn
