Yes!! I'm lucky as shit, I have to remind myself of it. Since there are still definitely monster in laws like this still. My in-laws while, yes, were up our ass to marry before our daughter came (you know to save them embarrassment when they announced at church 😂). But once I told them I don't care if you'll pay for the whole thing I will not rush my life bc Gail at church will laugh about us, told them it was their job to tell Gail to shove it or whatever but that wasn't none of my business. I also told them don't expect a big nothing, we are courthouse people as my panic attacks would ruin my whole wedding. But when it came to decisions about our daughter or receiving visitors they asked when we might want advice or visitors. In all they can annoy but nothing to this degree, and as I've lost my own parents before 30 have stepped in on more than one occasion to comfort me (which is sweet).
It is a sad truth, but for some reasons mother in law and daughter in law can't seem to have peace. It isn't a concrete fact, but the majorities seem to be that way. I grew up in Asia and am living in the U.S. and I have to say Monster in Law is still prevalent
Quickening" in pregnancy refers to the first time a pregnant person feels their baby move inside the womb, usually described as a fluttering sensation, and is considered a significant milestone in pregnancy, typically occurring around 16 to 20 weeks gestation, although it can vary depending on the individual and pregnancy experience;.
I've had 3 children, all grown now, and I still remember that little flutter. Like a butterfly moving around. That was always a moment where I truly knew, I wasn't alone.
Agreed. Imagine, back in the day, not sure when it was stopped, that people would be in the queen’s quarters on the wedding night to ensure the consummation of the marriage…
I loved brismsley also ❤ I wish we could’ve saw more into his “life” I wanted to know what happened to the Kingsman it hurt me when I saw him dancing by himself 😢
I love how Lord Bute and the Dowager act like they had ANY part in getting Charlotte pregnant. The hell? Were you two in the room playing cheerleader or something?😂😂
The Quickening is a powerful energy released when an immortal is beheaded. The immortal who beheads their opponent absorbs the Quickening, gaining all of their opponent's knowledge and strength. There can be only on...Oh wait you meant a different type of quickening. Nevermind, I'll see myself out.
Congrats on your new sweet addition 😊 Im so glad you post on yt! I followed you on tiktok but got a new phone and can't download the app right now so being able to see your content here is great!
Does anyone know what the doctor may be doing here where he can be THAT sure she's pregnant *and* have a good idea of how far along she is - just by doing some sort of pelvic exam..?? I don't get how that would work. I could imagine maybe there is cervical change or something? But, still, even if that's what it is, how would he know that quickening will be within a month (so, he knows she's between about 12 & 16 weeks.) I can't figure out how he would be able to know that this way.
It's when you feel the baby move for the first time. Before pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, pregnancies weren’t really considered assured or viable until that happened.
@@Mar-fs4ph dont feel to bad I thought it meant after the first trimester 🤦🏻♀😂. Seeing as how those first 3 months they say you should wait before telling especially those who are superstitious. Mother-In-Law moving in every daughter-in-law's nightmare😂

Unless shes one of the amazing ones but that is so rare to find
Depending lots of cultures the mother moves in to help a new mom but in this case she seems like a nightmare
That "WHAT?" gets me every time. 😂
Even Brimsley was taken aback. His face was everything. Excellent casting.
"I shall not leave you alone for a moment."
Noooooo!!!!😂😂😂
Don’t threaten me ma’am 😅
Charlotte’s mind must have been like” please take me lord” cause of that statement she said😂
Hell to the naw. To the naw, naw naw.
No ma'am.

Before modern medicine this was the first sign a woman was actually pregnant and not missing her period due to malnutrition or another cause.
I’m creeped out by the physician tbh

Lady Catelyn Stark plays alot of these types of roles.. well, these r the only ones I've ever seen her in.

She was Lady Margaret Beaufort as well
She was in Gangs of London I think.
And Hermione’s mum in Deathly Hallows Part 1.

Thank you, I hadn't heard that term before.
Thanks for the explanation 👍

Brimsley is like, that is what I’m here for, madam.
As a nurse, i cant even begin to imagine this many people in the room with something so private. How times have changed
It was their way of confirming the birth. They sadly didn‘t have other methods.
They were still more prudish back then than they were now, so I imagine she would have still be greatly covered
"I Shall not leave you alone for a moment" 🤧 Musty asf
Lol😂😂
The way I would’ve demanded she stay AWAY from me😂😂
Even in this time period there's no boundaries in marriage. This princess gets all my damn nerves😂😂
Why am I just realizing that the queen mother is actually Rob starks mother (I've forgotten her name in the movie) 😮😮
Lady Catelyn Stark (neé Tully). 🐺❤️🐟
I love Michelle Fairley in period pieces
The queen seems so sweet or idk what she is 😭
Queen Charlotte

I would think that the cervix would be softened from the extra blood flow and pregnancy hormones.

Charlotte była Niemką, była biała...
"We shall wait for the future king's arrival together."
Does that translate to when the baby is born ?
Show name?
Queen Charlotte
Who is the father and was it a boy or a girl?
George III. A boy.
TF did Lord Butt do? Didn't misspell that ⬆️

Because Lord Bute is the person that found Charlotte to be the wife of the king😂
