Hi Got a new Roam in April 2022, after installing Sonos 14.19 update sometimes the light remains solid white instead of blinking blue when I want to pair it, also, I can’t disconnect it using the rear button because the light remains blue and the audio device keeps paired to my phone even if I follow the instructions of the video, I have to disconnect it manually from the phone. Now, I sent a video to Tech support and being under warranty, Sonos confirmed the unit as faulty, replaced it and this new unit is behaving the same. Is not a hardware issue, and that’s for sure, It’s not a big inconvenience but here my question is: Is this a normal behavior? Or Did Sonos change something in the 14.19 update regarding the bluetooth control? Also, I’ve read multiple articles in the comunity and it seems that Sonos can’t work in crouded environment because the Wireless interference. Does all these issues have an efective fix?
i can pair mine to my Windows pc, but it will become unpaired and revert back to wifi mode after a few hours of no PC activity if i leave for a while. is there any way to keep it permanantly paired?
Hum. Interesting. I never tested it. Unfortunately, probably not, this device is still primaly made to be a part of the sonos familly that sync with the rest of your house.
I have a play 5 in my garage man cave. In living room I have a sub, sound bar and two play 3s. Also have two play ones in kitchen. I also have the sonos move and the roam and move thoese randomly. My question is for my living room set up for movies, sports and regular TV and also music is it better to pair up two play ones or two play 3s with sub and sound bar? Or should I place the two play ones in living room two with rest of speakers?? One more question, when watching movies can I pair up the sonos move and roam with existing living room set up or no??
I would setup the play3 as a cinema with the bar and sub. For the move and roam, or any other speaker, I would not merge it with a playing movie as there would be a very small delay.
The question his... Can the Google TV play it's sound on a bluetooth speaker? Maybe not. I think it's made to receive signal from other and play it to TV. Google TV is a receiving device just like the Sonos Roam... I believe.
how can a speaker be sounding so great, but its pairing be so badly engineered... I had a Sonos for 8 months, and it randomly stops to pair with the same phone sometimes

I got one of these through work reward points so far regretting my decision. The absolute worse set up of a speaker I have come across. Do not buy these speakers
These suck. Forget stereo mode, it never works, but even a single one sutters and spits, unlike every other AirPlay audio or video device I've ever used. Completely useless.
My Sonos Roam 1 can't go into pairing mode it connected to one device only once
I had nothing but trouble with my Sonos Roam. No chimes after 1 second, not even after 5 months...

is it possible to connect two Roams to bluetooth? That would be perfect.
Unfortunately you can't.
With a Samsung. You can.
You can, but it's totally unreliable and it breaks all the time.

sonos roam is on pairing mode (blinking blue), but google tv cannot detect the Roam. It can detect any other Bluetooth device.

@@HowToPM got to resolve it. just need to restart the ROAM (hold power 12 seconds). after that, it was discoverable.

It’s annoying you have to use the app to configure. It should work straight out the box. Useless if you don’t have wifi. Not recommended for everyone.
