I know that Royal Concert and HIStory tour had different tempo in almost every songs from the setlist, but normally there's a slight difference in tempo even from the same tour, since the musicians play LIVE. It must be a tough work to sync up the audio from two different nights. Well, brilliant work as always!
6:42 - I actually think there was an editing cut on the left-hand screen just because the footwork doesn't quite add up. MJ usual "side-glides" *after* the "slow-motion-circle move" on his heels. We see that he does that at 7:04 but I think in 'real time' he performed that move at 6:42 just before the side-glide comes in. Of course we won't know for sure because the editing would've been done in '96 or early '97. It would help too to have been at the live concert! Such a lucky audience!
I don't think so because we can see he's going to grab the mic after 7:04 without any cut so i think he did do it at the end, however we could know them for sure if we had any amateur footages but sadly we don't have any 😢
imo i think brunei in the HIStory tour is much better because 1. Michael's vocals are in a much better condition than in the royal concert 2. Michael seems to have more energy in the tour than in the royal concert (he's clearly enjoying it in the history concert, in the royal concert he seems very exhausted due to the heat and having to sing it instead of lip syncing) both are good but i honestly prefer the history concert in everything else except camera angles and instrumentation (and moonwalk)
Glaze on the playback. Michael sings live but it’s only heard by the sound engineers. Also, Michael doesn’t even sound good in Royal Concert so that’s glaze “because HIStory uses lip sync” 🤓🤓🤓

Was HIStory not mostly Lip synched? I know you can hear that he sings mostly live and he doesnt let this Song get away without live singing. By some Recordings you can hear that his voice is stronger and aggressiv in the end of billie jean what is the proof that he always sings the end live.

HIStory Tour Brunei is much better, unlike at the Royal Concert, MJ's having a great time and is very, but very energetic, he dances so much in the HIStory Tour one compared to the Royal Concert, vocal wise, although the HIStory Tour show had lip sync, we gotta count the live ad libs in it, which sound absolutely fantastic, the Royal Concert is fully live, but the vocals are a mix bag, he sounds tired and nervous, the ad libs sound good but HIStory Tour just takes the cake, his voice sounds way better there. Two things in the Royal Concert are better than on the HIStory Tour, MJ's looks and the moonwalks, MJ's hair and makeup are very nice compared to the HIStory Tour one, the moonwalks are extremely smooth on the Royal Concert, the HWT ones aren't bad but their not as smooth as the Royal Concert even though the Royal Concert as one moonwalk less
I think MJ decided to use less makeup for the HWT concert because of the tempatures, in my opinion, the makeup from the royal concert doesn’t look the best because of the tempatures in Brunei
@@MoyaiX MJ probably wasn't infromed about Brunei's conditons before the Royal Show, and once the HIStory tour show came he knew about the conditions and thus was prepared and wore less makeup, ultimately looking worse but allowing a much better performance
