    Such a comfortable commuter ebike! I rode it up and over Griffith Park and the new Yamaha PW-ST motor helped me flatten the steep, unkept roads.

    Hey Fly Rides, thanks for the review. You're spot on with your assessment. I really like this Haibike Sduro Trekking 4.0.

    I bought it a month ago in Hamburg/Germany for 25km commuting per day. Great bike so far. The gold and black look is awsome in real.

      Dear Jörg, where did you buy it in Hamburg? I am still in Hamburg and I am also interested to buy it.

      You can choose Frey cc or Frey ex pro having so much better speciation
      Or try DOST with two battery pack

      It‘s always a pleasure to ride this bike. All of the main components are still working very well. Only wear parts (chains, brake components, tyres, …) habe been changed. I love the bike.

    Thank you for a great review. Can I ask how do you secure your bike when it's parked? Is the display removable?

    • @FlyRidesUSA
      @FlyRidesUSA  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The display on this one does not come off. Check out our video on bike security for the best tips! th-cam.com/video/ancrSCzRRyM/w-d-xo.html

    The rack on this bike is really well designed. You can attach anything to it very sturdily without thinking too hard about it.

    Any thoughts on the Haibike rail system?
    PS - No comment on the awesome gold paint job???

    • @FlyRidesUSA
      @FlyRidesUSA  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That gold paint job goes without saying! Looks even better in person! I wish the rail system had more accessories honestly. I would rather it just have traditional water bottle cage mounts.

    • @LordWinter
      @LordWinter 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FlyRidesUSA that my one issue with this bike. Haibike is charging a lot for those rail accessories.

    Wanta check the Monday Motorbike? They looked really cool in their TH-cam videos.

      Throttle bikes aren't really our interest. We like the natural cycling feel of pedal assist bikes.

    Simply NO to Haibike, NO to Bosch, NO to Yamaha. NO to companies that forcing Customers to pay for the batteries ridiculous money and locking BMS when someone wants to replace used cells BY HIMSELF in the bike HE OWN! These kind of companies ARE RESPONSIBLE for millions of tons of garbage, toxic waste and increased prices because they purposely design their products to block the ability to repair their, sometimes poorly designed (designed to broke after warranty period), goods. 600euro for shitty (low capacity) battery is a robbery and creating piles of unnecessary waste is a crime. Simply as that you 'eco friendly' corporations.

    Thanks for the video. Just wondering about capacity of motor for hills. You said power dropped off. Is that because it is only 250w?

    • @FlyRidesUSA
      @FlyRidesUSA  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Plenty of power for steep hills! The wattage is less important on middrives than the torque, and this motor has plenty of torque.

    Hi, thanks for all the great reviews. How does this haibike 4.0 trekking compare to a Cube Kathmandu pro 625 trapeze? I wondered if it has push assist and if I can take the rack/mudguard off for muddy off-road trail riding?

    • @FlyRidesUSA
      @FlyRidesUSA  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Kathmandu is probably the better option if you're looking to do significant off-road trails. We've got quite a few Kathmandus coming in, so give us a call if you want to do a deep dive!

  • @MrTaff22
    @MrTaff22 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Ive always wondered, do they drive without pedaling? and if so, how does it work, you just stop pedaling and the engine continues with the selected speed?

    • @FlyRidesUSA
      @FlyRidesUSA  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Everything we have on our channel is pedal assists, meaning you have to pedal to actuate the motor. When you're pedaling the motor comes on. When you're not, it's just like coasting on an acoustic bike.
