there is a similar bike that Cube makes . it's called the kathmandu . it has an upgraded motor , using the bosch cx ,85 Nm and four pistons brakes as an upgrade . both haibike and cube produce some of the best value for money e bikes in Europe .
Hi Sirios Star, thanks for the feedback. Yes lots of brands do something similar, but not at such good value for money. Haibike themselves do a number of higher specced options with more powerful breaks, larger batteries, stronger motors, etc, but we find that the trekking 4 is a great balance between performance and price.
I had the Kathmandu last year till I got it pinched now I have the Hiabike trecking 5. The Kathmandu is a powerful bike with 80 N meters of torque. It has the Cx motor from bosh
@@kevintraynor4508How do you like your new Haibike ? I am thinking to go in between those two bikes! Happy to hear more about your experience about specifically the Motor and other stuff. Thanks in advance
Very Pathè News commentary 🤣 reminded me of the old war news films 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you’re in the wrong job mate, great bike though although I’m surprised at only 60nm 🤷♂️
Just got a new Haibike 4 with 75nm torque ... Can't wait to smash some miles!
Just bought one of these bikes absolutely fantastic far superior to the Chinese bikes that are flooding the market at the moment 👍
Think I'd sooner charge the battery without taking the battery out. It dose seem like a lot of messing about to get battery out of bike
If you don't have a place to plug in where you'd store the bike then it's pretty much required to take the battery out to charge somewhere.
Mine is trecking 5 and has the bosh motor
Hi. I’m 6ft 3in and pushing 100kg. I also like to carry panniers. Is there a model more suitable for me?
