The car drives awesome, sounds great. The Tq numbers surprised me. Thank you all for the great work and taking great care of my baby.. maybe next time we will do a little more upgrades.. You got a mustang that needs an upgrade give these guys a call..
I have had nothing but problems with my phase 2 kit. I can't get any Ford dealer or Roush to fix it. It acts like it has a bad injector problem. I bought the car brand new and had the phase 2 kit installed at the dealer. The dealership says nothings wrong. This has been going on for a year. Roush hasn't done anything. I put my car on a dyno. Its only getting 440 to the wheels. Im not happy with Roush or Ford.
Find a new dealer. These kits are 100% or better yet make an appointment here for inspection and a fix. You can't blame a part that is clearly an install error or issue they should be able to resolve. Also you can't blame Roush they rely on the dealer and it sounds like your dealer has not a clue how to get you taken care of. So either find a new dealer or go to an approved Roush install facility like us and get that that thing fixed. Its a great kit you just need the right person to get your awesome car up and running to potential. Good luck hope it works out for you!
@@BrenspeedEngineering I have been back to the installing dealer 3 times and recently to Town &Country Ford which is a Roush dealer in Nashville, and I was charged a diagnostic fee to boot. The Ford dealers are pointing fingers at Roush saying that they can only do what Roush tells them. Roush is pointing fingers at the dealerships saying they can only go by the information that the dealer techs give them. Meanwhile I'm out a $50,000 car and $10,000 for a supercharger kit that doesn't perform backed by a warranty that isn't doing anything. I wish there was a place like yours close to my area to take my car to. I blame Roush because it is their parts that have failed, and they are supposed to be responsible for getting my car repaired.
Will the ROUSH tune handle catless headers? I was told it could just have the CEL on. I have a 2020 phase 2 kit. Just wondering if it would lean it out? Thanks and love your videos.
Anyone know if you have to reflash the Roush tune once you install Stainless Headers? I'm thinking of doing this exact same setup on my 2021 GT Premium however some folks are saying I would need a custom tune in order to make it work with the Roush Phase 2
No reflash, you just install them. Tons of people do that with the Whipple and Roush even though both companies say you can't. I did it with mine also and just run the Roush flash. That is because the 50 state kit was approved for stock exhaust so they won't say you can do that.
Question. You mentioned you change the headers doesn’t that affect the tune from Roush? I was told by Roush it would mess up the Tune and it would require a custom tune.
Roush and Whipple will tell you that. That is because they have not tested it. Yes you can install the headers with the Roush or Whipple tune. We do it all the time and it runs fine. My 2019 runs the Roush SC, Roush tune, and headers no issues. Roush and Whipple are not in the market to test the tune with other parts than just a stock car with a supercharger. That is why they just say needs custom tune.
Nice job Bren. Like you recommend me I installed a 1 7/8 Long tube headers and my Mustang got a lot more low end torque. Now, is the Roush Superchager Tune good for the Stainless Works long tube headers?
@@BrenspeedEngineering just to verify again before i pay for a tune… i have a 2021 mustang with the roush phase 2 kit and the stainless works headers and i am safe to run the factory roush tune?
Wow!!! I just saw that you guys are in Cedar Hill now also!! I am in Frisco and looking at possibly trading in my 2019 GT PP2 for a Roush Stage 3 and I will HAVE to come down. I love these s550 Roush cars. If I do decide to keep the PP2 more mods will be coming so now I know where I will be going to get it all done. Thanks for the great videos!
I have the same phase 2 Roush Supercharger on my 2019 mustang. The dealer sold me on a resonator delete and Roush X pipe stating that there is less exhaust restriction which lowers the heat at the manifold/heads and increases HP a little. In your experience, do you agree with this? If so have you ever done a dyno pre and post resonator delete install on a supercharged 2018 and later mustang. Thanks for you help!
Hi I have not done any sort of before and after on that resonator delete. Yes it may reduce heat and that is always a bonus. I doubt it is anything you would see on a dyno though. You also reduce weight which is good.

I'm looking at buying a 2019 Roush S2 Stage 3. 3,700 miles. The owner is not around. Sales guy tells me it has the phase 2 or phase 3 kit. How can I tell?
You can't really. Same kit just different calibration. They only made a phase 1 and phase 2. No phase 3. So basically you can buy the phase 2 flash from roush and have them load it on and you have a phase 2 for sure.
On the GT mustang, my opinion the roush kit looks the best, But for the performance i think the Whipple packages out perform the 3 stage roush kit, but on the GT350 the whipple package seem to look the best, look more like factory installed on the voodoo.
Catted or Non-Catted SP headers? Numbers seem a little low but different dynos/days/DA could be part of it. My 2018 without headers put down very similar numbers on a cool day. Can see the video on my page if you care to. The numbers were uncorrected at first but the end of the video shows the corrected pulls.
Thanks for the comment... and yes on what you said about DA and all the other variables. Plus look how choppy your graph is up top. Thats typical of the old winpep software that has been discontinued. It gives little spikes that make a number a bit higher in spots... smooth it to 5 and that will go away. The updated hardware and software does not really spike anymore like the old stuff. NICE CAR!
@@BrenspeedEngineering Thanks for the info on the dyno numbers. Getting my 2019 dyno'd for the first time on Monday. Going to make sure I get the corrected numbers with the smoothing on 5. I traded the car in that video so I'll post up the new results when I can. Keep up with the great videos!
