Why doesn't banks have it's own engine management system that uses this architecture for sensor input? It would have to be the best FI system on the market bar none, just my thoughts :-)
@@wolvenar This was simply an introduction. You'll see plenty of real-world application in the coming months. As a matter of fact, we just outfitted RoadKill's AMC Hornet with several sensors and an iDash DataMonster. Wait 'til you see the video. Hilarious. 👍
You should emphasize that peoples are not buying sensors, but a way to improve their engine ability to be more efficient, powerful,or whatever goal they pursue thanks to the Idash. Sensors are just sensors, you need to understand what they allow you do as a potential buyer. You sell ability to understand,to improve,to unlock new possibilities ,not just sensors. Give your product some life through that. You sell endless possibilities to peoples brains willing to soak in knowledge and datas, not sensors connected to a dash godamnit !
You can set high and low alerts for any parameter. As far as triggering a relay, we don't currently support that feature, although it may be coming in the near future.
Will the idash survive in a boat? I've been searching for over a year for a water proof 4 channel EGT gauge to monitor the twin 2 cylinder 2 strokes in my boat
You're going to see quite a few in the next few months. On a related note, we just outfitted Road Kill's 1972 AMC Hornet with a suite of sensors. You'll see the story if you're a member of our Banks Insider Newsletter. Sign up at BanksPower.com.
So, let me get this right. This idash is for diesel AND gas powered vehicles? I've got an older (2006) Nissan Frontier V6, 4WD. I can monitor air flow and/or temp, along with oil press and coolant temp?
Mine is on the way and I'm going to replace my OBDLink MX + Torque Pro setup with it in my LS swapped Jeep JKU. Faster sampling, no Bluetooth connection issues and the ability add my own sensor inputs were the big selling points for me.
We haven't gone dark on the diff covers. We are still road/trailer testing them as we speak. You'll know as soon as we are done. You have not been forgotten.
Yea sweet but where the diff covers at?
Still looking for the diff cover results
We haven't forgotten. You'll see some news soon.
Wow Lightning looks like everyone is eager for the next diff cover video. Who thought people would have such strong diff cover feelings
With over 5,000,000 combined views, our diff cover video popularity surprised even us.
Thanks MR. power for taking the time for us

Diff cover plz
rather see more information about the sensors and applications for sensors than a sale's pitch.
Yeah exactly.. tell us why and how this is better than a pi zeroW

Definitely an ingenious design, I just hope I can afford it
Looks slick cant wait to try it out

Pretty cool. Can you set a range for each module and when it's exceeded, it triggers a relay to shut things down, not just an alarm??

@@bankspower A relay or several would be cool. I ask because I'm thinking of an industrial application. Mainly a diesel powered screw compressor.
Wow that’s a pretty cool product but what’s even better is I saved $50 a month switching to AIS insurance!

Great question. We'll do some testing and post the results.
Be nice to see all that sensors hooked up on an old high powered non obd diesel

Yes, that is correct. See it here: bankspower.com/iDash

Why has Banks gone dark on the diff cover test and design. I have cash and want a "cool" diff
