My favorite part about Dead Meat and FoundFlix's community is that everyone is grateful for his work and the comments section doesn't seem toxic unlike other communities of popular TH-camrs. I guess horror fans are the most chill type of people.

Dead meat and foundflix have helped me so damn much. I cant watch movies like this because of my anxiety but these guys breaking down the movies for me have actually helped me desensitize myself a little bit. Plus, i dont need to watch the whole movie XD
Sometimes my anxiety is too much too! I adore well done horror/scarier movies but sometimes I don't want to send my anxiety or night terrors (unrelated cause!) into overdrive! Foundflix is great! Also for movies that I'm on the fence about seeing in theaters, it's nice to not feel like I wasted my date night with the Husbeast on a bad film. We've avoided a bunch of duds!

Having worked at a haunted house, this movie spooked me for reals. It's very realistic because I've always worried if something happened no one would take you seriously bc everyone is screaming and covered in blood anyways
Why dont they institute a safe word before anyone enters so if there is an emergency for whatever reason the staff members and customers can call out that so everyone knows it's real

This is one of my favorite horror movies and extremely underrated. Great acting and strong chemistry between the group. Jump-scare moments are actually scary and don't feel cheap. The contained feeling of the house itself and how the mannequins come alive is amazing and so terrifying. The final twist is also great

This movie is seriously underrated. It doesn't happen often these days that horror films can immerse you that much and give you spikes of chills throughout the movie to a degree Hellhouse LLC does. Enjoyed it a lot!
I'm happy for everyone who liked the movie but I don't understand why so many people liked it.
I know movies are largely subjective but I HATED this movie. I thought it was super boring and predictable.
The characters all got on my nerves and I didn't think it was even a little scary.
I'm not trying to poop on anyone who enjoyed he movie, I just don't get why people liked it.
To me it was honestly really cringy and hard to sit through.

As someone who loves the book and finds the movie extremely boring, overacted, and not remotely scary, I will never understand the praise it gets. I mean no hate, it just bugs me seeing so many people imply it's the greatest horror movie of all time and just makes me wonder if most say that just because others do.
Strobe light scene was actually so well done. Actually gave me a lot of chills. I think what worked well with the film is that a lot of the scares came from the props instead of an actual monster, so it gave you the feeling that there was always going to be a scare, even when there wasn’t.
Only problem I had was the end was a bit messy. It felt as if they struggled to wrap it up a little.
I usually HATE found footage - then I watched this with my boyfriend, and it scared the crap out of me and left me feeling disturbed...
I mean this is one of the few foundflix videos that feels actually scary, can't imagine how the movie feels

Hell House LLC is one of my all time favorite horror movies. It's actually scary, which is pretty rare in my opinion.

Guess that just shows horror, like humor, is subjective. I thought the movie was crap, but I'm glad others liked it, even if I personally don't get it.
I had no role in this movie, but my aunt/uncle own the location of the haunted hotel (it's a legitimate haunted house attraction, normally called the 'Waldorf Hotel'), and it will be forever weird to me that the movie is this popular/well-liked. (But also pretty neat, given I've been in the location multiple times.)
My cousin is the 'scary' girl the guy sees when he looks past his bed covers, and my aunt played a small role as well, with the same role she has (or at least had last time I saw the hotel) as the greeter in charge of letting people in.
My aunt is a _huge_ horror nut, so I'm sure she's elated that their haunted house was part of an actual series of horror flicks that has a lot of genuine fans.

I also love the different reactions in the group to the scary things happening. Alex (who is financially motivated) orders everyone to follow his lead and assures them they're not in danger, his friends are angry and want to leave but also know the importance of loyalty, and then there's Sarah - who has subtle moments of acting strangely and is also Alex's girlfriend who stands by him even as things get worse. I enjoy seeing how they start to turn against each other.
The version I saw didn't have Melissa dragged down into a hole, she died still chained to the ceiling by her arms.

that version is the original version, where melissa is dragged into the ground is the directors cut (it’s on youtube for free), & fun fact, it was only added because of the success of the original movie, which allowed the director to go back and make the ending he wanted with the money.

You need first to submit your plans to the county so they can give the ok. A portal to Hell can be seen as unlawful property expansion since you gain access to additional area than stipulated in the contract. There might also be environmental concerns regarding its impact on nearby flora and fauna and it can lower the property value for a certain radius surrounding the portal. All in all you're looking at heavy fines and a raised property tax, not to mention your insurance premium skyrockets.

Even Satan drops by their neighborhood BBQ parties to mingle with the mortals and relax. You can't get him to shut up about crypto and NFTs, but considering his previous actions on the premise it's an improvement. Baby steps and all that.

I think it would’ve been creepier if Sara wasn’t shown to have died or been a ghost, so it would instead be the reveal that she has been living there alone with the ghosts since the incident. It would be a good call back to when she said “I hav been living with family mostly”

The pentagram in the basement isn't evil, since it's right-side up. Point up, it's a Circle of Protection, keeps out dark energy and helps you contain dark energies if you decide to conjure them. This movie surprised me with how much I liked it. The sequel... not so much.
Part 3 is up on Shudder. I liked how they ended the trilogy.
Agreed. The third is better however but still has a, in my opinion, corny/silly ending.

i’ve acted in a haunted house & its so against the rules to chain and LOCK someone up like they did to that poor girl. if you’ve got restraints on, its mandatory that you can get yourself out incase something goes wrong. if she had lived she would’ve had a great lawsuit on her hands!
erin g yeah when i first watched the movie i was like wtf? why would they actually chain her up and give ONE dude the key?? and ofc that guy was the first one out he didn’t even last 2 minutes

As someone who is an artist and actress for a professional haunted house, this movie really intrigued me. I had a great time watching it and got a lot of laughs out of it

The scene where Paul pulls the covers up on his bed to see the mannequin and it starts moving toward him, that got my blood pumping
oh man I absolutely ADORED this movie. This and Lake Mungo are some of the best horror Mockumentaries out there IMO.
Not only was it a fun movie with some actually scary moments, despite being rather formulaic, but it finally showed what happens to the people killed inside the haunted house. I always thought what would happen to the souls of those people.

I must say that this particular Found Footage Horror, is one of the creepiest. From the jump scares, to the dark frame intermission, to moving puppets I highly recommend this film.

I watched these multiple times trying to make sense of it all. This director’s cut makes everything make sense immediately!
Hell House llc is hands down my favorite found footage film of all time!!! I've watched this movie more than any other film ever. The writer/director did an absolute brilliant job creating this piece of cinematic horror gold!!! I too, purchased the extended version, but actually liked the original better. I think more than anything people fear the unknown. I preferred catching just a glimpse of the demons coming out of the basement wall and then letting my morbid imagination take over.
Wow I saw this movie awhile back and had no idea there was two sequels lol, thanks for giving me something to watch tonight and cant wait for the other two videos

I don’t know about y’all but I’m actually surprised that despite the amount of people in my life that complain about how found footage gives them headaches, I’m actually glad that these are still being produced

Great hidden gem of a horror movie! One of my all-time found footage favorites.
I don’t usually go for the found footage genre, but when it’s well done like the VHS series and this film, I have to give credit where credit is due. Legitimately scary.
It took me 12 minutes to realize this isn’t the same as Hell Fest 😂
