Great info as all musicians need to take care to avoid career destroying injuries. I had carpal tunnel surgery just over two weeks ago and fortunate for me I am now back to playing guitar better then ever. Unfortunately my desire to learn the violin has been seriously sidelined owing to a right shoulder injury. In my desire to learn and by hitting Suzuki Book 1 too hard I seem to have developed a bad case of tendonitis in an already damaged shoulder. I just found an amazing book called "The Athletic Musician". I borrowed it from the the Archive library and can't stop reading it...what an eye opener.
Thank you! This is very helpful

Oh, thanks for the tip! Sounds like a great book; I’ll have to take a look. Good luck to you and your shoulder ✨
