- NEW NHRA Pro Mod Corvette driven by Paul Daigrepont hits our hub dyno to get tuned before continuing on the 2024 Congruity Pro Mod schedule! This '79 C3 Corvette body has a 521 Noonan Race Engine in the front that was custom built to Paul's liking! After getting in an accident in '23 at Bristol Dragway with his previous racecar, Paul was needing to completely build from scratch, and he chose FuelTech as his engine management! This car is equipped with our FT600 ECU, FTSPARK-8, EGT-4 CAN, Alcohol O2, Input Expander, and more!
Check out how our session with this beautiful blue carbon beauty went...

Need a follow up video for sure.
So what was issue ??? Killing me smalls
I feel like that left us hanging, did you get in running correctly?
Wtf did the engine come apart
No. They shut it off immediately after the pull to look at the plugs .Reading the A/F ratio at wide open throttle.
And the motor has such tight tolerances and high compression its better to shut it down and save running time on the motor as well
Will this be a no prep car too when it cant compete with its fellow promods? Seems like the going thing for these cars. Go kick the shit out some grass roots cars cause you cant keep up with your class.
No numbers?? Aint like its a no time car😂
love seeing the different bodies on the tour this season. chip king, tony wilson, and kevin reivenbark are a huge breath of fresh air for the class.
You're right, it's already boring to see only Camaros
Guys, please, don’t ever play music over the run. Better yet if the engine is running, there should be silence. You must pipe those sweet sounds in 8k quality into my sound system unadulterated. I’m begging you.
SIDE NOTE: did anyone else see the belt stretch off the pulley during the second run!?
That 1st shot of it on the dyno facing the camera....it looked like a chained animal try'n to get free.💪😎👌
I would love to see the graph on one of these things
kill the music and let us hear the engine only
Too bad she's not a Drag and Drive Pro Mod 😢
I keep arguing with a feller in a comment section of a not fueltech video.. he says people dont shift cars on a dyno 😂 rookie
I'll take a guess: 5,100hp at 9,400rpm.
Pai do Deddy Dave.
Isn’t that car raced in SantaPod past weekand?
Very Nice! 😍🏁
🧐 was like a teaser
