Luckily the scheduling for that day, and the fact that the demeanor/attitude of Luis and FT as a whole... are above par in the industry and always " doing whatever can be done " ... Hats off to them! Respectfully, Seth
Seemed like something was off from first fire up. I would think something of that magnitude and cost would have egt sensors. May be that’s just not something done on a screw blown pro mod.
Why is it blowing fuel out exhaust when starting it up? I’ve ran mechanical injected alcohol and never had this happen. I had fuel shutoff cable that killed fuel then I killed ignition power. Y’all guys are the real deal!!!!! Most Dyno/tuners would have quit and said come back another day !!!!
With the wrong firing order it was probably taking a awhile to start while they keep squirting gas on top of it. That may be why it seemed to burp out so much fuel.
Man that thing sure dont sound happy. I dont know if they are turning it backwards or not but thats alot of fuel to puke out on every startup. Im going to finish the video now. That second engine was a trooper to tolerate that oops and not pop break or blow apart something. I know how it happens we have all been there and made mistakes hurrying. I'd be getting rid of differences in engines to avoid that stuff. I hope that team puts a diaper or pan on that thing
Why does Linus even have "control" over this? I thought he hired a guy to be like CEO or something so he wouldn't have to deal with everything in the company and he could spend more time with his family. Linus CLEARLY does NOT need to have "control" over passwords and such. Linus, you're a good man and a great host on screen, but for the love of God, pass the torch onto someone else when it comes to these Extremely Sensitive Pieces of Information.
Flooding the engine to the point of huge amounts of fuel spewing from zoomies changing a motor flooding again then blowing either more fuel or water out of the thing. Sure looks like fucking amateur hour to me. Question do any of you guys know what you're doing.
This is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!! The effects on the environment from all that high octane race fuel!! Damn,I wish I was there to see and experience that HP. Awesome job. Amazing tools and talent. 😂😂
Changing motors on the dyno is a new level of badass
Not hard no different then changing motors in the pits

wow, that is a heck of a dyno session! You can tell there ain't no quit in those guys.....getting it done
So it made 3k hp with the wrong firing order? Dang.
No it was only swapped on the second engine
@@brandonsikes1480 Well.....Being nice to ALL.
WHAT were the firing orders from daddy on both of his engines?
WHAT?🤯
My favorite pro mod is this style vette 💯🔥💪🏾
dude if boost and bad habits had fueltech love... oh man. found you guys because of them, and thankful i did. KILLER race car.
I'm impressed on the knowledge that these guys have about building a bad ass race car 😳
Oh yeah those guys are knowledgeable ha ha ha
My kind of promod❤
another great video thank you for sharing bad ass car very cool have a great day be safe and God Bless everyone out there
It’s definitely a badass car
Kid with the mullet, in the beginning, looked high AF! lol
youre on it, on the moon
We Done that before, put a new ls firing order cam in bbc and had cap wires still set up for old 4/7 cam..

Hello, I'm talking about Brazil, the day the technical and mechanical team went to the test.
I'm sure they paid for the extra time LOL. Pretty penny for the full day I'm sure.
They run super rich at idle and spray gas into the blower
Good luck working out all them bugs 🪲
You need 4500hp just to compete. Depending on class.
what power at 15:50 ??
I'll bet that was one of those hindsight moments. You knew it didn't sound right then it hit you like a 2 by 4
With the wrong firing order it was probably taking a awhile to start while they keep squirting gas on top of it. That may be why it seemed to burp out so much fuel.
FuelTech lets throw all the fuel out the exhaust
thats how these cars start and idle. any efi or mfi system they all do that.
Love it!
First one hydrolock and broke the crank?
Awesome
Bad ducking ride bro
Insane! That things is a ticking bomb! But I like it! Easily 4.5k hp.
Kinda wish they showed the end result/numbers. Oh well....
Just some tune work
I wanted to see what would happen if a top fuel car actually did a dyno test.
Is that fuel coming out of the exhaust?
yes
No cooling system...so, what else would it be?? Of course, it's fuel! SMH
It is unburned fuel.
Holy Shit..
Hydro looking with that much fuel, what kind of crew is that, big shit for not much power
Hydraulok
Mechanical fuel system and they’re not even changing nozzle sizes or anything?
when are you going to release a video for the srt4 neon you did?
Soon! We are waiting until after the race it will be at this weekend to finish the video for you all. 👍
Is that a 9.8 whipple????

Yes it is.

Alot of fuel going to need 41 44 mags
Anybody else think the first pull was a run away for some reason?
Cylinder 3 looks dead
2 and 3. Firing order was off. Not dead hole, just not firing at the correct time.
@@funfun8095still a dead hole. Couldn’t see cylinder 2 but that makes sense if the firing order was wrong.
🤤🤤🤤🤤😊
