The fact that because the elevator travels in real time, it conflicts with the game’s timescale, since it means that real time for us is nearly an hour for Aiden. That’s one hell of an oversight.
That’s just there time! It’s normal for him. It’s if he came in our world some things would be faster and other things would be slower, like the elevator would be fast and normal day cycle would be extremely slow. Hope I explained it good enough 😊

@kevin_yesyesyes yeah , in exchange for waltz to live in the colonela stronghold waltz said he could enhance the colonels soldiers by giving them boosters and other drugs but waltz turned the soldiers against the colonel so that's why they are hostile , but the loyal soldiers stuck with the colonel and that's why the renegades at the stronghold look different

Idk why Techland patched out fun stuff like the map limits or the grappling hook. It’s a PVE game. Those things were harming NO ONE. In fact, most people wouldn’t even use them. They just punished their players for having fun with the game.
Map limits ? It should not even be possible to travel from town to town like that in the first place. Your pc / console may even crash if you kept doing that. Also your saved game may not even load properly the next time you play and you might lose some of your stash or weapons. Its a massive open world game. Theres nothing wrong waiting 3 - 7 seconds to load to the next area. And as for the grappling hook, it was too easy for us. That defeats the purpose of the entire game. The current hook isn't that bad 😂😅

@@kevin_yesyesyes Because travelling between 2 areas in most games require a loading time. If there is none and it can be done with different methods than it can harm your game data.

Appearently the programmers there suck ass, and they solved that skill issue by employing a hardcoded barrier.
The one thing that I can never forgive is how they threw the original writer out over false sexual assault allegations. If they kept him, imagine how much better this game would of been. Right now it just sits untouched ever since bloody ties came out. Repetitive environment, horrid characters, annoyingly pathetic protagonist, weird combat physics, annoying chemical spills which is just a lazy map border. I still remember seeing the E3 trailer and seeing 6 story buildings and thinking "holy shit". The mission they showcased was so impressive, too bad they butchered it and frankensteined it into some shit finale.
How cyberpunk and DL2 launched was absolutely atrocious. They're better now but they're still a shadow of what was promised. @@dragonacycx4619

Techland honestly did the only thing they could and fired Chris. If they kept Chris, I imagine they would have got a lot of backlash and hate. I imagine investors might have pulled out of the game as well

the grapplehook patch can actually be completely neutered if you grapple onto a wall, wall run on it, jump, and grapple on again continuously. Not sure how more ppl don’t know about this

Mf what it's been the same since the last update that made it to where you cant go up a building. And plus its unrealistic anyways which is why they changed it. And it doesn't matter if it's for the fun or easy factor when your good with it not teleporting you everywhere like the first game

I remember trying to jump on top of zombies like a parkour course and was immensely disappointed because I kept getting attacked/grabbed by them.
i finding it more hard to actually jump over them than being just grabbed. If I find a narrow portal I'm guaranteed to be either hit or grabbed by 3 sleeping beauties.
6:40 is the funniest part with the NPC’s they look like they wanna play tag with Aiden. 🤣
Me and my friend were joking how lawan was secretly a witch in the game due to the teleportation and we couldn’t stop laughing for 3 minutes straight

i can excuse Aiden not knowing who Crane is he was like 2 during Dying Light 1 and his big heroics were in a quarantine zone and everytime he asks "whos kyle crane" the npcs give some vague answer or no answer at all
The biggest pain for me was finally getting to max legend level with a fair amouth of exotic weapons and a boat load of materials and what not only to have all my data get corrupted and delete itself 😢 havent touched the game in ages now

Falling to your death but you get stuck on a random floating hitbox so your left falling mid air thinking what to do next but then your character slips off and hits the ground faster than the speed of light. Happens a lot
Yeah if you go to that little shrine for Kyle crane you'll notice that there's a picture of the night Hunter right there which yeah we all kind of speculated that the night Hunter was crane but to have techland come out and confirm it like that kind of makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that we were right.😏
Also yeah kind of bummed out that the Carnage Manica got downgraded after we got a hold of it.😢

The things that bother me the most are the NPC schedules which are basically non-existent and aren't consistent with the game world, the characters constantly teleporting due to engine issues (Cyberpunk did that really well) and the day-night cycle which doesn't work at all if you wait till nighttime by yourself.
I was really hyped for the second chapter but while playing it I realized how much better the first was, both technically and narratively, I hope that with the DLC the second chapter can reach at least a little the first

for the grapple hook all you need to do is run up the wall and the grapple glitch resets so you are able to still climb up any building with it but it takes some time
Waiting for that elevator and trying to get that korek charm, I probably spent enough time to complete the rest of the game just for them to nerf it.
I do really hope that whatever they have planned for the 4th of feburary is gonna bang and adress some of these, cuz they already updated some of the cutscense in the last few patches so i hope there'll be more story improvements
For me , my biggest gripe with the game is the world.. it feels so bland compared to Harran
not being able to travel between city is a joke, now what you gotta do is select a quest that you have in old villedor, go to the map bordor and die and start at last story point but u can also just start at last story point to get between missions mega fast
Btw you can still do the 2nd one its just you have to wall climb up between each one and plus you can do it forever (correct me if im wrong) because sliding down gives you more energy
Qnd with th elevator one, i often times glitch through the elevator, fall into the abyss, and respawn on the bottom, then have to wait for the elevator to come back down, get back in the elevator, then go back up, and sometimes (rarely) fall through again

I recently booted up the game 2 years after playing up to the epilogue with my friends (we never finished it) and man, it’s wild how much of a gem they could have and how many questionable choices they make.
I like some of them, like the new animations and fixing a lot of the bugs and new fun content, but the grappling nerf was such a why to me. They nerf such harmless “exploits”. I’ve figured out a way to climb single walls anyway but it’s so much more annoying and slower than the old method, plus sometimes you just can’t catch yourself even when playing like a normal person, your grapple just gives up.
And even small elevators are so damn slow, the one in the renegade base on the dam felt like I was going up the Sears tower
Use elevators at your own risk. I've experienced a glitch multiple times now, where you fall through the elevator and you either die or get stuck below it
The fact that they got a different va for aiden only to have him sound exactly like crane.
The fact that the paraglider and grappling hook likes to bug out.
For people that dont know if you grapple pull and tictak and repeat you can climb up crazy highs
However in 1:32 you can Travel by the tunel on the left in map, they connected, and tested
You can actually still do the grapple lunges. Once it starts making you go up less do a wall climb and then go back to grappling. It kind of replenishes it
I’d also add to the list the slope grade at which the game makes Aiden crawl instead of just stand or walk. So many times I’ve died because I’m in the roof of a house and can’t attack the spitter in front of me because Aiden is crawling up the roof in which he could stand up and defend himself.

the shadow messed up too. when you were equipped with one skin. for instance, the rick grimes skin, if you look onto the shadows, the shadow look the same like other outfits.
For the grapple thing just wallclimb a tiny bit. it resets it so you can gain more height with grapple.
I bought this game last year and it definitely came with its bugs and glitches. None that impeded my ability to complete the came, so I'll admit I found some of the weird NPC behavior amusing to break up tense moments and the awkward dialogue weirdly charming/accurate since who knows how to socialize at the end of the world? Enjoyed the video. :)

For the grapple nerf I've found out, grapple wallclimb grapple wallclimb gives you height and doesn't take energy because it restores fast enough

Of all the things, the grabbing is my biggest annoyance. It's such a momentum killer.
For the zombie grapple. Keep throwing knives on you, its an instant escape that doesn't require perks and you can have a shit ton of em, insanely easy to craft as well

Dude I got grabbed while half way up a building, the second I left the animation I fell to my death
The grabs would not be an issue if instant escape was still a thing, you get grabbed just as often in 1 but in one you can, well, instantly escape.
Weird fact if you are going up in the elevator and jump you get parkour exp. It's not much but at least you can be productive in the mean time.
For me it's the 2-3 volatiles that keep joining my 1v1s against GRE anomalies, especially early game
you just have to wall scramble after the third grapple and it resets the momentum

For the grappling hook what i do is that i briefly climb the wall to cancel the cooldown and reset my stamina
Yea you can do that but climbing with a grappling hook is better for me

My #1 issue was enemies somehow seeing me through walls and I have to restart the hole application just to fix it
i always felt it was cheap to scale buildings vertically using the grappling hook. i never even wanted to try it
There was a lot of stupid mistakes and I think purposely done oversights , but I still love this game.
From first seconds all my pain and wasted nerves is when i wanted to get in developer's room by connecting wires. And to do that i had to call elevator, wait 1000 years and then get in and wait 1000 years again to get up, then i just felt down and died and all that again till i were red from rage

The flashlight thing drives me INSANE, like why are people walking around in pitch black environments when they literally have a flashlight in their pocket? But if you turn the flash light on in cutscenes then it just also looks dumb as hell because you're just blasting your flash light into other people's faces, but they have zero reaction...
Does kicking and jumping at the same time still work with the paraglider?
The shield wouldve been way more fun too use if charges were loading up quicker

At least the second one was fun, the first one is not even good, people just overrate it because one person though that it was good and influenced anyone, including you. But I think on my own, and people just like to hate on sequels, like the last of us part 2, that as a game on its own it's incredible

I remember getting this game when it came out and beat it. It was okay.. my major gripe during that time was the amount of grabbing the zombies did on release... It was god awful, I remember being grabbed while climbing up a wall. Apparently they patched the zombie grabbing but I haven't touched the game since.
Oh one other thing that made me laugh about this game is that every combat encounter cutscene ends with Aiden getting punched, every single one. You know for a bad ass fighter who kills zombies for a living and parlours everywhere he sure gets sucked punched a lot. Lol
I actually never got why everyone knows about Kyle Crane, was there a broadcast about him? Was he on the news before the outbreak? I know he was the catalyst for DL2 but that's kind of where it ends for me

Funny how a weapon you get from defeating the end boss of the dlc is trash but you can easily get a weapon from the same dlc that can nearly one shot any enemy in the game
Every time I get grabbed I remember that instant breaks existed in DL1 and could've perfectly been implemented into DL2
A skill that completely negates a feature, why bother implementing grabs in the first place? I you don’t like being grabbed, try to move away from the zombie.
You have it with having throwing knives in your inventory. Getting scraps is easy compared to getting the xp for the skill.
