Another great insightful Emma reaction, thank you. On Emma being perfect for Disney, this video was a live TV preview for 'Disney In Concert' for which Emma has been signed by Disney NL and Medialine. These are 2 live shows on 4th January 2025 at the 17000 seat Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. This is Emma's 'dream venue' where she has appeared once to film the official video for her first single in early 2022 and again in concert with Andre Rieu in January 2024. After Disney at the Ziggo dome, Emma is there the following weekend, once again with Andre Rieu. You may be interested that last Friday Emma announced her first concert in her own name which will be on 21st October 2025 at the hugely prestigious Koninklijk Concertgebouw (Royal Concert Hall) in Amsterdam. Emma appeared on Dutch TV on the 'Carrie Op Vrijdag' show (Carrie On Friday) to promote the concert with an interview and she sang John Lennon's 'Imagine' to close the show. By the time Emma appeared the tickets had already sold-out. For a 16 year old to to even appear at the Concertgebouw is quite something but to be able to hold your own show and then to sell every last ticket in under 3 hours is extraordinary. Fortunately I got my two tickets 15 minutes after the announcement and I am very happy. The same TV channel, Omroep MAX, has announced today they are producing a documentary on Emma and her journey to her own concert. Here is a high quality recording posted by the TV channel of Friday's performance by Emma of 'Imagine' that I mentioned. Its lovely (but you wont cry), and btw Emma is accompanied by, among others, her brother Enzo, himself being an elite violinist (far left in the video): th-cam.com/video/xpAIqyDybhk/w-d-xo.html
O yes, this is impressive stuff: 16 seconds on the last phrase without breathing..... On January 4 Emma will be guest star in a Disney show in the Netherlands. And more news: André Rieu has announced a few weeks ago that Emma will be under his wings and on tour in 2025 as well. And last week Emma announced that, thanks to André Rieu, she will have her own 'EMMA' show with a full sized orchestra and other artists on October 21 in the old and prestigious Royal Concerthall in Amsterdam. This is an absolute dream from Emma becoming reality. It became fast clear that Emma is 'a name' in the Netherlands by now: in about 3 hours time it was already SOLD OUT... and yet nobody knows what the program will be like. Not bad for a 16 year old... Extraordinary... And about that last note: I wonder who can hold a note the longest: Emma Kok or Lucy Thomas. They are both known for their amazing long notes and I think they are very, very close when we compare them in that specialty. Really amazing stuff.
My sense, from what you are saying, is that we are not only hearing Emma the singer, but more and more Emma the artist, and I agree. She is at an age when she is learning so much, so fast, and now her voice is matured enough and practiced enough that she is experimenting with new styles and techniques. She is also brimming with confidence after a year on the road with Andre Rieu. She is just so phenomenally talented. Did you hear that she announced her first solo concert just the other day and it sold out in three hours? The show is not until Oct. next year!
I love reading your comments, I look out for them with all new reactions, they are always so on point. I agree, although Emma started at a high level, the pace of Emma's development is remarkable. I had a brief exchange a couple of months ago with Phil Bee (who is age 65 and on that basis is an experienced singer) who told me that he himself has learned a lot from working with Emma. 👍
@@RogerC-2024 Thank you so much. That means a lot. I can certainly say that I have learned a lot from your comments that I would not otherwise know. So, thanks for that. Watching Emma develop as a vocal artist has been one of the greatest delights of my life. Being aware of her makes me happy. Oh, by the way, good luck in your new occupation as a content creator.
@@exeter1588 Ha, I’ll never be a competent content creator, but I thought I had some vids and info others might like. Geleen was unique in that Emma was so close, then I created the Fred and Friends ‘collage’ for my own consumption but then I thought why not share it. Even if it’s not great quality it’s replacing a vacuum. If even one person likes it then it’s worth it 👍
@@RogerC-2024 Well, it was worth it for me to watch your content, so you're doing something right. Don't be so hard on yourself. You'll get better and better if you work at it.
Such a nice reaction to another beautiful performance of Emma. I love how you can mix your personal feelings with the technical breakdown of Emma's singing. For me, you added new perspectives to this performance, and I love seeing you enjoying this performance ❤ Just a week ago, a high-quality recording was published were she finished an interview on TV with a really really really beautiful and impressive version of John Lennon's Imagine. You will love it❤❤❤.
I always like how Emma finishes her performances, I think latest note is the same as "Dancing on the Stars", in any case stunning. I'm glad Emma is making her dreams come true, like her solo concert in 2025, she deserves it. Thanks for supporting Emma 👋
Thanks for this PRO comment, this is definitely Emma's style of music if you watch this performance (th-cam.com/video/itxs-aNyRJY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=lNdIMtIiL1yVvr7L ) . Beautifully sung by the princess Emma.
You read my mind. I was going to link the same song, but you beat me to it. I love how Emma expresses the longing of Ariel to be free - just like Emma longs to be free of her food pumps in real life. Excellent singing for a home studio!
@@markfallot2897 On the 4th of October we went to Emma here in Geleen where she first sang VOILA with DANCING ON THE STARS and then these two songs. I recorded it so if you are interested, you can check it out ( th-cam.com/video/hovvD-uLuKs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TGpovnljSIK6WujL )
Beautiful! Nice reaction. Sung a la Emma. They could however provided with a better microfphone, or better yet an in ear so she is free to use both hands. Greetz from the Netherlands, Jacques
Andre has a rule : dress to impress, as he does with his female musicians. And he had his finger in this as well. So we see a Fairy Princess named Emma.

🤗🍒🌹😘 well done again , on to Emma's "Dancing on the Stars" with André Rieu!
Could the f sound due to fact that her native language is Dutch rather than English.
Why haven't you reacted to " The Girl That Never was" by James Blunt ?
