I used an HP-C for years as my workhorse. The HP series are great brushes. When I was at Death Row Motorcycles I had access to an HP-C Highline. The Highline series is Iwata's best brush outside of the Micron.
This is the airbrush I bought. I also have a revolution with the .5mm needle nozzle that I used for larger areas. I'm currently working through your course.
Great to hear you have this airbrush and the revolution is also a great brush, I actually have a video coming out soon featuring the iwata hp.bcr , hope you are enjoying the course all the best 👍🏻👍🏻
To me there seems to be a big difference between the two airbrushes. Good to see Boba Fett's helmet in the background. I've enjoyed watching nearly all the Disney Star Wars scrips on line...
Yes, the micron can go finer but really only just and like I mentioned most wouldn’t need a brush to go much finer than the HP.B plus 😉 love Boba was always my fav back when I first saw him in Empire (I never saw the holiday special from 1978, which is actually where he first appeared)..🤘🏻🤩
HP-B + and HP-SB + are second to none in their class…Only thing is trigger spring has too much tension…Probably with Dru’s soft spring can be better…Amazing brushes…
Another great tutorial, I use my airbrushes for spraying model kitsets, it would be great if you could either give some hints on this or do one episode of spraying kits, I have two Iwata airbruhes and find any issues is down to my usage, bext regards from a Kiwi living in Melbourne, Les
Thank you appreciate the comment and suggestion and glad you enjoyed the vid 👍🏻 hope you are enjoying Melbourne life, New Zealand is one place I would love to visit in the future, it looks incredible 😉
I just started to airbrush. It came with a small black compressor. But when I try to make fine line's or whatever it always leaves a splatter when I stop. What I'm a doing wrong??
Iwata is lagging on keeping up with the competiti9n like HS which now i thnk HS and its German quality is not above and way beyond Iwata. I do love my Airbrushes IWATA's But im thi8ning of moving over to HS This brush is prob the only one i dont have from iwata.
Thanks for your comment and I hear you …I need to have a bit more of a play with H&S as when I tried one a few years ago, I loved the quality and how smooth it felt however I noticed a slight trigger delay which made it hard for me to get used to as iwata and Creos are instant as soon as you pull back on the trigger. That said, it may have just been that particular brush ?? I am keen to know if anyone else has had a similar experience 🤷♂️

@@AirbrushAsylumof course they do, it was common problem and now they "fixed it" in 2024 edition. But I'm switching to Iwata and Creos.
