I have not yet purchased an airbrush. I want to get started. I wouldn't say I am an artist. I am hopeful that watching more of your videos I will be able to get started.

Thank you for sharing. I never airbrushed and don’t have this equipment.but I am interested. Could you give me idea if it possible to make a invisible shade on white or ivory fabric ? Thank you
I’m new to this and this was a great video. I’m surprised how powerful the spray gun is to get the paint so lightly on the paper from a distance. I loved it when you first sprayed the sphere and removed it to show that there was actually paint on there, as it looked pretty white when it was masked off. Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Mate I'm enjoying your proliferation of videos especially those for beginners. It would be super useful if you could provide worksheets for people to practice for the fundamentals. You've included exercises within your videos, but if they were in a shared repository somewhere, that would be super useful.
I like the way you explain in intricate detail no matter what it is your explaining it's good for me for more than one reason as having learning difficulties the more thorough the better but also I am a newbie to this time of painting So thanks 😀
Very helpful video! Thank you! Just starting out again after 40 years away from the airbrush... Where can I find that Artools template you were using? All I see are skulls and flames! Thanks again.
Thanks for making another helpful video, I always learn something useful. I have an Iwata HP-CS, I haven't used the cap when I paint, what is the advantage of using the cap, and should I be using it?
So I've just found yer channel the most up to date on YT .... i have just got back into brushing after a 20 yr break .... I'm doing fantasy art and the tutorials you doing are realie helping me get ma hand back in .... i have a badger 200nh is possible you could do some single action brush stuff ?? Mate thanks very much for what you are doing it's super helpful 😁🙏👍👊
It's nice watching an airbrush that actually works right. I have a Paasche VL and a old Badger T&C Vega 2000, and OMG, so frustrating! Good conditions in your room too, I presume. Tip dry is inevitable, but unfortunately with the Vega 2000, the air cap _must_ be left in order for the mix to take place. So picking the needle clean involves unscrewing the cap every time. Oh, and I've found the pull-to-clear function rather ineffective because if you pull to far, the trigger assembly will get misaligned. Ugh!!!!
I just ordered my first airbrush. I’m soaking up everything like a dry sponge. Great videos and explanations. How many colors are your fingers after a days work?😂
Hi Carsten. I like these exercises. Angling the airbrush is awesome to get halftone (fade) shading. What are your thoughts on gradually increasing the angle of the airbrush as you create the halftone shades and setting the trigger to decrease the amount of material being sprayed? I’m no where in your league as an artist, I wouldn’t consider what I do with the airbrush as “art”. What I paint is used in my off road race team, so it is more functional then art (I guess). I got started airbrushing later in life. So the value of your videos for me is priceless. As I have said before, The way you explain techniques and the mechanics of spraying is effortless and extremely easy to understand... thanks 🙏 for these great videos!

Thx for sharing. Helped me out :)
This is a great hobby. It's rewarding when things come together the way you hoped.
Yes, airbrushing is fantastic and can be applied to so many different things glad you are having fun with it 👍🏻
What size needle did you use?
It varies... for general airbrushing usually a 0.3 or 0.35mm and for detailed airbrushing a 0.25 or 0.18mm hope that helps. 👍

What color paint did you use
I use Trident paints mostly as well as some Createx , for this video I just used a thinned out trident black 👍🏻
@@AirbrushAsylum thanks
Which art book is that you using to paint in?
It’s just a cheap A3 sketch pad which you should be able to find at Kmart / target or a $2 shop 👍🏻😉
Merci
Thank you 🙏🏻

Love the biomech lady with the orange glasses. Good tips sir.
Thanks buddy that artwork was done whilst demonstrating at MotorEx car show last year 👍🏻
Tks. Is it acrylic with water? I cant use thinner!
I am using the trident reducer therefore whatever the paint manufacturer recommends to use, these are Waterbased paints 👍🏻😉
Explained very well and clearly :-)
Great tips as always.
Thank you so much
What model sirbrush are you using? Haven't seen it before.
A real master

Big help, cheers

Nice . Would any of these techniques work on painting miniatures?
Same question
Is it better to use paint for cars?
I don't recommend taking advice from shady characters but will make this one exception. 😂

Thank you so much!
The shading definately produces a 3 dimensional affect.
Thank you.
👌👍
класс!
But when I come back that far I get that awful looking dotted look, how do I get SMOOTH shading? Far away looks awful
You have to you have to mix the paint with reducer
