Wow, this shows how technical Wheein's vocals are if Solar, another great vocalist, struggles a little with singing her songs, and even Hwasa seems a little hesitant. And the fact that even Solar acknowledges that Wheein can easily do any song shows how much of an ace she is too
Wheein is the perfect child out of them 4. She practices a lot and get very good at it fast. Solar on the other hand is a hard worker like most of us which is very relatable.

It's very interesting to see them acknowledge each other's strengths. Wheein is absolutely comfortable in head voice, whereas Solar evidently prefers playing in her chest voice (ie: belting). This isn't to say they aren't proficient in both vocal domains, but it's not uncommon for singers to have a preference for one or the other. That said, they slay so HARD - be it together or as solo artists.
It's because solar and wheein have a completely different singing style and technique. Solar is more of a chest voice-powerful singer, while wheein is a head voice-breathy singer..

Byul was right in saying fans would want to see something different so the rapper line and angel line switch worked really well. I would LOVE to get the official versions of the members solo switch songs though... They all nailed it!! That's our Mamamoo!

Since many fans can't physically go the actual concert there's usually a kind fan who live streams it even though it isn't really allowed lol. So we call it cooking class, or yoga class etc live stream so it doesn't get taken down lol

Hyejinie refusing to do eclipse but still accepted in the end, then there's byulie who wants to try honey, but still got the twit, and hwasa said that she can't sing wheein songs due to their same voice. and there is yongsunie extremely refusing to do water color due to high notes and pitch of wheein, but still slay in the actual concert. Any songs gives to wheein can be performed perfectly, that was wheein can do. 😉😉

Byul was super HYPED to see Hyej do Eclipse. It's so adorable! And that Byul voice Whee voice connection again. They sound so alike when you play with the pitch. It's really uncanny. And to be in the same group! It's MMM destiny at work again.
Their discussion seems so funny but their choice gave us the PERFECT STAGE and every member is shining in each other's song.
We could have had Water Color Hwasa?! Lol. I’m glad she went with Eclipse though, and that Moonbyul went for Twit. It was definitely the most different for them, and most unexpected.

All of their solos are good, I love them all!! But watercolor really suits me. That song is my #1 favorite solo song of Mamamoo members. I love the way Hwasa said to Solar at 5:07. The motivation ❤

If Solar didn't perform watercolor, we wouldn't felt the same shock we had during the concert. She really looked like Wheein from afar.
Solar has a similar issue to me where our chest voice is pretty strong and head voice is pretty soft. And wheein is queen of mixed voice which is a hard place to sing from for people like us 😭

literally can't stop laughing because of them: hwasun auditioning for eclipse, hyejin strongly rejecting eclipse at first, yongsun doing all excuses and things just to avoid watercolor, hwabyul laughing non-stop because of yongsun, and much more. pls they really never fails to make me laugh i love them so much
This is so funny. The entire video is Yong trying to avoid watercolor while 2/3 of loser crew trying to convince her to do it. Yong already covered watercolor in her medley before and even sang a portion of it in SoLive so I think she's avoiding the choreo more than the high notes because she hit higher notes in Mata Hari while crying, performing for 3 hours almost everyday. While Wheein complained that Yong said Honey has easy choreo and she found out that it was more intricate than advertised. 😂 Byul was right that it would be more interesting for moos to see her cover twit and Hyejin cover eclipse. In summary as expected, the girls slayed their performances.
The Mata hari star actually did a great job while singing Water Color!!!
