I make it thru my day with one charge but I don't play games ever. Some of the best sales I have seen are Pre orders. I got mine $100 off and got $100 in accessories for Free. Haven't use it too much, just the occasional mess around with the camera and apps, I charged it to 85% last night (there is a setting that stops charging at 85% to protect battery) and now its 11:50 PM and still have 27% left. Only weird thing is that it gets warm very easily.
I don't find the battery bad. I switched from a pixel 5, while pixel has nightsight that's just the only thing. I was able to take a picture of the moon on the s22 without nightsight
Beautiful outside but ugly inside. Whether it's Exynos or Snap dragon both produce too much heat. Battery is worse especially on Exynos version while Snap dragon last 2-3min longer than Exynos. On a full charge maximum 5hr without using Intensive apps I'd say for the price not worth it.
I bought my s22 last week and I'm in love with the camera, the front camera is so good! sadly I'm just dissapointed of the battery. Idk if I should change it to the s22+ but for me it's to big... so I'm debating between being comfortable with less battery and buy a power bank or bigger battery but getting cramps haahahah
I’ve been debating about buying this phone but I keep reading people saying the battery isn’t so great so what kind of screen on time are you getting can you make it to the end of the day or is it one of these phones are you always have to charge it up around four or five in the afternoon
Thanks for the review… if the battery life is a problem when the phone‘s brand-new after a year with the size battery it has it’s really gonna be a problem this will be a phone maybe to get in the US market when you get a really good deal six months after the launch but that’s a bummer they didn’t put a larger battery in this phone
Glad you mentioned the 855. Yes. That and the 855 plus I came from. Still have ...I just got the s22 free from daughters father in law. Her husband knew I loved phones and his dad had it in a drawer the month after activating it because he didn't like it. Since he paid cash he opened a new line for a discount on 13 mini iPhone. Now he's happy. So I have a post paid Verizon line again grandfathered like my old line from 2014. Hahaha miss it. Been on visible. Big difference with ping is all. Plus now I see 5g lighting up. I won't use it much as I use wifi now. But great to have. So far the ram boost feature is a waste and needs work. Turned it off since my pixel albeit more optimized runs great and faster on 6 and 7t on 8 using old 3 year old soc. Hahaha. Great video man. Need to debloat more. Verizon wow. Bloat.
@Shahem Owies to be absolutely honest, better than I expected. Battery power is greatly exaggerated in how insufficient it is. The very first time I got it, I drained the battery of course with backups and great number of updates. But after my first full charge overnight, it is just fine. Nothing top of the line of course but I can squeeze 6-7 hours out of the phone. No joke. I'm doing nothing short: I browse social media, watch some youtube, chat a bit etc. Even right now as I'm typing, my battery is 65%. I took it out of charge at 12 o'clock noon and it's 6 o'clock now. The other I played some games for 30-40 minutes. It did get hot a bit but took only 17% from the phone. The rest, camera, screen, sound is just great. Maybe it's due to new updates and people were right when it launched. Currently, it's a beautiful phone.
@@MaDFroG88 hi. I do have some sort of battery anxiety to be honest. Now more than ever. HOWEVER, three weeks past and the battery is even better now. I'm gaming for 2-3 hours nonstop and that's when I get to 10%. Albeit, I use wifi. I should test it a full day with data only. Maybe then it'll be true to the deal.

I would love to get the s22 ultra but the exynos is turning me off, especially lack os support in games despite it being powerful, your thoughts? Also will you be reviewing lg gram 2022
Agree unlike its its apps are very well polished and optimized for the chip. I've been using S22 for a month not a good experience and regret it the best about this phone is the camera quality and performance in gaming and that's all.
You have to use it for a week first and It will be bad but after that week it will be perfect if you just use spotify :3 I am in the second week and battery suddenly became better after I was crying about the battery for one week.

The s22 is an excellent phone except for the battery life and I had an issue with the gps being inaccurate. Both are pretty huge deals to me. Kind of a shame because otherwise I loved the size and performance. The biggest deal breaker was the expensive price tag when I got it new. $860 when it was brand new I felt like was insanely overpriced for what it offers. Samsung really needs to rethink their pricing strategy. Because if the s22 had been say $599 for the 128 gb model would have been a much better overall value. Because then the pros outweighs the cons.
My wife has always been a Samsung user. The big problems with every one she has had is lack of software updates, battery degradation, and general slow down of the phone. She basically has to replace her phone every 2 - 3 years. I wonder if the phone will last for the number of software updates that Samsung has promised?
I came from an S10+ and I hate this phone so much I need doc brown and the delorean to take me back and talk some sense into me... The 3 most important things I need in a phone are not present on the S22... I need a loud speaker so I can hear text and email alerts from my customers. I cant hear the alerts on this phone from 5 feet away, speaker is horrible. Battery life is not going to get me through my work day and its way way too small... Texting and reading on the S22 is awful... Cannot wait to get rid of it.
I had this phone it just didn't run all that well, lot of the studders. I was hopping this would be fixed by now. I had to go back to using my Xiaomi 11 lite because it was way more reliable then this phone...that's a little embarrassing for Samsung but hey, what can yeah do

It's not good for gaming, the phone doesn't have good cooling since it's small so it throttles very easily In fact genshin runs at 40% cpu performance by default to prevent insane overheating
This is not a gaming phone, in fact it is an anti-gaming phone unless you reduce settings on the hardcore games. Maybe get a fan as well. It will be throttled hard and eats battery gaming, so S22+ is a better choice for Samsungnites. Best gaming phones are SD870 devices or Dimensity, the Exynos and SD8G1 are disappointing.
@@ItsWAS3000 I have the s22 myself I do play call of duty alot maybe 2 hours straight mines never got that hot anymore when I first got it it did but after updates and stuff it's been fine

Yes it's 'Just enough' or little better depending on the day and usage. But I wouldn't buy this phone biggest downgrade. On a full charge best is 5hrs maybe extra 30min if not using Intensive apps. how's the quality of the camera ring around the camera... I've heard it's cheap plastic that will wear out fast

It's a perfect device indeed. I'm terms of the battery there are excellent step by step tutorials on TH-cam to help you improve battery life.

Try switching the refresh rate from adaptive to standard (60Hz) it might help with the battery

You should be!! Mine lasts 4-5 hours SoT very bad performance, I charge it twice everyday! Battery anxiety.

I like this phone. It has a great camera. I do notice battery life .. sucks. Also with heavy use.. the phone .. gets hot. Way hotter than an iPhone.

Ya... very true, i went through alot of videos and reviews about the gaming on the s22 and turns out that gaming on the device isn't that great.
