Bryan Adams is a great Canadian singer songwriter from the 80's-90's. He is known for his ballads & he has a unique raspy voice. "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?" is from the 1995 "Don Juan DeMarco" film. Bryan has had so many hits such as "Cuts Like a Knife", "Straight From the Heart", "Run to You", "Summer of '69", "Heaven", "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You", "Can't Stop This Thing We Started", "Thought I'd Died & Gone to Heaven", "Please Forgive Me", "All for Love". He has won a lot of awards for his music.
This is from an absolutely delightful movie called "Don Juan DeMarco," starring Johnny Depp. It's got romance, sensuality (in fact, it's pretty darn steamy at times), action (sword fights), intrigue, escapes, a mystery, and two parallel love stories. Also starring Marlon Brando (in one of his last performances, and in a rare light role) and Faye Dunaway (not sure if you know who those actors are, but I mentioned them just in case). Highly recommend!
Wasn't Selana singing in that movie ? I know I watch this movie at the theatre.. ( no netflix,,etc. back then ) a very loooong tome ago .. It was a popular movie...
@@talltulip 🙂 THANK YOU 👍🏽 ITS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I WATCHED THAT MOVIE .WHEN PEOPLE WOULD HAVE TO GO TO THE MOVIES TO BE ENTAIRTENED.. I ALSO THINK THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME I SAW SELENA BEFORE THAT I DIN'T KNOW WHO SHE WAS.. R I P SELENA
This song was raised to the heavens by the presence of the late Paco de Lucia on the Spanish guitar. He was one of the greatest to ever touch the instrument. You might try doing a re-listen and just pay attention to everything he adds to the mood of the production. Bringing him on was a stroke of genius.
I lived in Europe w/my parents when I was a teen & we always tried to find the best music representative of the country we were vacationing in & Paco de Lucia was highly recommended to us, so we bought an album & I still listen to it. Fuente y Caudill is fabulous. 👍👍😄🥰
I’m Canadian and was in Mexico with family around the time this was popular. It was a huge hit in Mexico at the time, playing on the radio and music TV there, including our resort there. The backup musicians were a Mexican group.
Can't go wrong with Bryan Adams...Run to You....Heaven...Cuts Like a Knife....Thought I'd Died and Gone to Heaven...Please Forgive Me....All for Love with Rod Stewart and Sting. Just to name a few.
…..and then he gives us Spanish guitar……his song writing is really creative.❤️🎼🎶❤️another 🎥 soundtrack. There’s another one from Robin Hood( Kevin Costner) “Everything I do, I do it for you.” Check that one out- of the 3 - that one is my favorite.💜
This was from a great movie of the 90s that included the great Johnny Depp and the Incomparable Marlon Brando. It’s called Don Juan Demarco great movie. The reason it sounds Latin is because the movie is about a guy who thinks he’s the greatest ever lover from Mexico. Don Juan Demarco is a Casanova type guy.
Bryan Adams did some beautiful love songs: “Everything I Do, I Do For You” was played at my wedding, “Heaven”, “Please Forgive Me”, “When You Love Someone” and “Straight From The Heart” are all wonderful.
Cool acoustic song. Others to check out - I Do It For You, Please Forgive Me, Straight From the Heart, Run to You, Cuts Like a Knife, When You Love Someone, Somebody.
This was written for the movie Don Juan DeMarco starring Johnny Depp so you are hearing that Spanish flair, Asia. It was actually recorded in Spanish by two other artists and the music is featured throughout the movie.
Bryan Adams had 5 # 1 movie hits in the 80’s & 90’s. This one from Don Juan DeMarco, “All For Love” with Sting and Rod Stewart from “The Three Musketeers”, “Everything I Do (I Do It For You)” from “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves”, “Heaven” from a little known movie called “One Night In Heaven”, and “I Finally Found Someone” (duet with Barbara Streisand) from the movie “The Mirror Has Two Faces” starring Streisand.
"Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?" is a song written by Canadian musician Bryan Adams, Michael Kamen and Robert John "Mutt" Lange, and recorded by Adams for the 1995 film Don Juan DeMarco, starring Marlon Brando, Johnny Depp and Faye Dunaway.
I love your reactions :) Paco de Lucía is the guitar player in this song. Paco was and he is the best flamenco guitar player in the world. Bryan's voice and paco' guitar.. perfect mix!! Saludos desde España :D
This is for Asia...if u want one of the most beautiful songs? "When You Love Someone" by Bryan Adams. Has a beautiful Celtic sound. On top of that you will think of Braveheart. Trust me...its beautiful! Keep up the great you 2.👍
So romantic, from the Johnny Depp movie "Don Juan DeMarco". Bryan Adams & Brian Setzer (of The Stray Cats) wrote a fun tribute to Elvis called "Hey Elvis!". You'd get a kick out of it. Not the video with Billy Cyrus though..he made it into an Elvis impersonator type thing. Check out the Bryan & Brian version. 💙☮
So good so sentimental and definitely as the Latino touch with that Spanish guitar. Sometime one must expand one’s imagination and not put music into a box of just one style. Great music is often a blend with emotion coming from your heart!
The line "when you can see your unborn children in her eyes" one of the most intense lyrics ever. I also agree that Don Juan Demarco is a must watch movie. Fun and intense at the same time.
Written by Bryan Adams, Mutt Lange and late Michael Kamen. Final Number 1 song written by the 3 of them. Great song! 😃 In the soundtrack to the movie 🎥 Don Juan de Marco , starring Johnny Depp and Faye Dunaway. Management of Paco de Lucia said he was unavailable for recording. But Bryan Adams saw him in the same beach ⛱ L🤣L 1 of my favorite songs for karaoke 🎤 Based on flamenco music. RIP Michael Kamen, Selena (who sang and acted in the movie and was shot fatally after the movie was released) and Marlon Brando, who played the retiring psychologist in the movie, and Paco de Lucia, the flamenco guitar 🎸 player. Paco de Lucia happened to be 1 of the GOAT 🐐 flamenco guitar players when he was alive. Suggesyed next song: Straight from the Heart ❤
Old songs, good songs. Thank you. Good memories. I still remember the smell of parfume on that guy that i dance to on this song in a discotech. It was not clubs but disco on those days. I was so young and so in love with that guy. It was my first love ❤❤😂😂 And in those days we slow dance and it was beautiful. Thank you for the memories❤❤ Sorry for my bad english ,hello from Romania❤❤
I did hit the Like button for this one right here. Also.......the guitarist in this song is famous Spanish flamenco guitar player named: Paco de Lucia. I've never seen anyone react to his music. Would be fascinating.
World famous flamenco guitartist Paco de Lucia is accompanying Bryan in this song, I danced with my late husband to this song, it’s one of my all time fave songs
He can really rock, too… try “The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You”..fun! He also does a duet with Bonnie Raitt, “Rock Steady” that’s really good. Both phenomenal guitarists…
One of my favourite Brian Adams songs! He can turn is hand to most genres of music. Check out 'The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You' & 'All For Love' which is performed with Rod Stewart & Sting.
Did you know that Bryan Adams sang the songs for DreamWorks "Spirit stallion of the cimarron " l highly recommend you watch it, and it's big song "Here l Am"
Hey!! Nice reaction. If y'all like Bryan Adams, I would suggest reacting to his songs "Please Forgive Me", "Heaven", "Everything I Do, I Do It For You", "Cuts Like A Knife", and "Run To You"
Sorry, I'm a year late, great reaction, great song. It's from a movie called Don Juan DeMarco (1998?) For the hand movements, as a former belly dancer, start with just moving your four fingers, keeping them straight and only moving one at a time. Once you build up the muscles in your hands, it'll click. Think, "Fan" I hope that helps. It's easier to show than tell. 🤭
I am of Spanish heritage and I absolutely love this song
One of the best lines ever in a love song: When you love a woman "you see your unborn children in her eyes". Wow
Woow indeed 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Yup.
That line gets me
For sure, regardless of sex or gender that line hits you right in the reproductive organs
It's an incredible line that grabs your heart and encapsulates the full meaning of loving a woman.
Its from one of my favorite fantasy-romantic movies Don Juan de Marco thats why you noticed the Spanish flare!

Delightfully smoking hot young Johnny Depp. Whew. Where's my fan?
In my opinion, Bryan Adams' singing is very good, but its the legendary Paco de Lucía's guitar playing that puts this song on another level.
My late wife's favorite singer , one of our bridesmaids sang this and his I'll Always be Right There in the church at our wedding . gets me every time
My condolences to you.
Sorry for your loss

This came from the movie "don juan demarco". I really liked it. It starred Johny Depp and Marlon Brando
“When you can see your unborn children in her eye” best lyrics in a song…. EVER
It's on par with Leonard Cohen's "Dance me to the children who are asking to be born" from his song Dance me to the end of love.
Absolute beauty ❤
Haven’t heard this song in years! It’s such a great song by a great artist!
