As a Canadian myself, Bryan Adams is considered an icon here. That being said, if I was in his shoes and the crowd sang my lyrics back at me as clearly as them I would probably be so touched by it that I'd burst into tears because it means that the song means a lot to them.
A Canadian treasure. So loved because he is so genuine and a truly good person. He is still out there doing concerts and his voice is as great as ever. Thanks for sharing.
I saw Bryan in 1999 when I was 19 in Manchester with my parents and I can honestly say his concert was and still is one of my favourites ❤ He’s a treasure xx
It is pretty cool when the song starts and the crowd starts singing. One of the bands I roadied for had that happen and the guys were so stunned and looking at me beside the stage like are you seeing this?? They played there ass off too and gave the crowed all they had.
i went to a bryan adams concert 6 or 7 years ago and i couldn't believe how good he was live... he was literally identical to how he sounds on the radio but even better because of the atmosphere
The song was written while Bryan Adams was serving as the opening act on the American band Journey's tour; Adams played over 100 shows with Journey during 1983. Journey drummer Steve Smith is responsible for the heavy drumming on "Heaven."
The cover you're probably thinking of is DJ Sammy. This is a classic song. I really love the version Bryan did on the live MTV Unplugged concert. This performance was great though. Huge respect to the guitarist too. His performance was on point. Bryan's voice is just incredible though. Thanks for the reaction guys ♥
I have had the pleasure of seeing Bryan live on numerous occassions he is absolutely fabulous....You should try to check out a live version of Summer of 69
itten by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance. Originally released in 1983. Released again, in 1984, on the album Reckless. 40 years. This song and the original version of Obsession were the highlights of the B movie A Night in Heaven. 2 years before this was released, Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance wrote Stay for fellow Canadian band Prism. That song led to Heaven. Same key! True story. Mickey Curry, who left Hall and Oates to join BA, could not make the recording session due to a prior contract requiring him to play for another musician. Steve Smith , then of Journey, came into play. Compare this to the song Faithfully, which Journey played. Very similar! And BA was the opening act for Journey that year! Engineer Bob Clearmountain worked with BA in 1983 for the album Cuts Like a Knife and with the late David Bowie, RIP, for Let's Dance. Rob Sabino played keyboards for him. RS and BC worked on this song and. Now RS is a lecturer in music at UC Davis. In an interview, BA wanted Nile Rodgers, who co produced Let's Dance, to produce Reckless. Listen to the Apple podcast for details. There are really 2 eras for Bryan Adams: up to 1991 and 1991 onward. Mutt Lange changed everything in 1991 for BA. Suggested videos: 1 Journey performs Faithfully. 2 Bryan Adams sings Everything I Do I Do It for You 3 Bryan Adams sings Summer of 69.
Would love to see you guys react to Rockin 1000. A thousand mostly Italian musicians and singers covering rock classics such as Smells Like Teen Spirit, We Will Rock You, Bittersweet Symphony, Tender, and lots more. Started with making a cover of Learning to Fly in order to persuade The Foo Fighters to go to their part of Italy which hardly ever gets rock concerts.
The crowds were so much better before everyone was holding up their mobile phone. They just got into the songs and sang their hearts out, couldn't speak properly for a few days after lol
This is a good song. However, I like cuts like a knife better. Also, I didn't know you could sell out your $25 request spot. When will that be open? I was about to request a few songs
@@catherineday951 I've heard the word many times...but I've never actually typed/written the word before. Just one of many words I have rarely or never used. Thank you for the correction.
Susie keeps mentioning his voice, this is from 1996; if you find a live version from 2022-2024 he sounds the same!! Try listening to Cuts Like A Knife live last year.
Have y'all gotten the chance to hear the new The midnight song Chariot it's awesome and we got a tease for another song coming which feels like old the midnight
My Canadian heart beams with pride anytime I hear Bryan Adams ♥

Bryan Adams is a master of love songs ❤ Amazing live artist as well!
You should hear the unplugged version, his voice stands out so much more.
That’s real music !
*It can't get better than the Original with Bryan Adams singing and Keith Scott playing the Electric Guitar. No doubt about that.* ⬅🎸💿🔥😈🔥
Wouldn't want to hear a cover for this!
No you wouldn’t, It’s not good. 😳
Canadian Rock Icon. Oh, the 80s

Funny that you guys reacted to Tina Turner a day or so ago. Bryan sang a duet with Tina about this time.

The 80s had actual artists. No pitch finders. They had to actually be able to play and sing
The Filipino closed captioning really makes the video... 🤣🤣
D.J Sammy did the cover and did 2 different ones a slow love one and a dance one !!!!!!
The best part about Bryan Adams is, he's just rock'n'roll. DJ Sammy was the dance mix cover, especially if you live in Canada.

Bryan Adams, Phil Collins, and Richard Marx were awesome if you grew up as a Gen X.
F’ng right. ❤

Seating capacity at Wembly is 90,000. That doesn't count the floor.
the dance remix is "DJ Sammy"

If someone should cover Heaven again, it needs to remain a rock ballad. You lose the romance when performing it in techno style.
He ask who sings that number....duh Bryan Adams
Try the mtv unplugged version its way better
Definitely
